    Penyelenggaraan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mendedikasikan ilmu kepada masyarakat untuk membantu dan menyadarkan anak-anak dan masyarakat dalam ilmu dan peribadahan, dan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan metode pelaksanaannya melalui penyuluhan dan demonstrasi; Penyuluhan menggunakan ceramah yaitu penyampaian materi tentang ibadah, sedangkan peragaan menggunakan metode demonstrasi yaitu mempraktekkan tata cara sholat baik dari membaca maupun isyarat dalam sholat. Bacaan dalam doa mereka juga bagus. Kemudian setelah itu mengadakan tanya jawab dengan metode tanya jawab, kemudian berikan apresiasi kepada anak yang telah bertanya dan semua anak juga diberikan apresiasi dengan cara mengajukan pertanyaan kepada mereka. Adapun hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian  masyarakat yang telah kami lakukan, anak-anak merasa sangat senang dan sangat antusias mengikuti materi dan peragaan ibadah sholat.     The simulation of drop-weight impact test on ramie-eglass hybrid fiber composite for kayoh jaloe wall material

    The purpose of this study is to simulate drop-weight impact tests on hybrid fibre composites made of ramie and Eglass, which are used to make the traditional Acehnese boat wall material for jaloe kayoh. Using composites of ramie-Eglass fiber hybrid in the construction of jaloe kayoh wall material will significantly enhance the strength, durability, and sustainability of traditional Acehnese boats. The simulation was carried out using the finite element method approach using the Abaqus software. Three distinct laminate layer configurations—three layers (GRG), five layers (GRGRG), and six layers (GRGGRG)—with alternating Eglass and ramie fibres make up the test specimens. The ends of the specimen are set with fixed support to ensure boundary conditions, which limit all active structural degrees of freedom on all sides of the specimen. According to simulation results, the specimen with six laminate layers, measuring 12.498 mm, had the largest displacement. The specimen with six laminate layers has the highest stress concentration, measured at 560.6 MPa, while the specimen with three layers has the highest strain concentration, measured at 0.023. Its indicating that the lamina variation can influence the structural performance of the jaloe kayoh material. This research contributes to understanding the potential of ramie-Eglass hybrid fiber composites to enhance the safety and durability of traditional vessels such as jaloe kayoh. The implications of the results can serve as a foundation for the development of superior structural materials in the future

    Grassroots football club stakeholders' sponsorship: the role of happiness and shared values

    Purpose: This research serves to determine causal configurations of corporate social responsibility (CSR) conditions that best influences grassroots football club stakeholders to meet a sponsor's goals through promotional activity. Design/methodology/approach: The research uses a case study of the Essex Alliance League, a local amateur football league in England. Firstly, semi-structured interviews were held with multiple stakeholders to understand the ecosystem of grassroots football. From here, further semi-structured interviews were held with club sponsors to identify the conditions of CSR. This allowed the research to then issue a survey from which results were analysed and discussed using fuzzy set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA). Findings: The ecosystem of grassroots football is formed by a myriad of stakeholders operating at a national level, all the way to more local governance structures within which the business-club relationship exists. Sponsors identified three main conditions of CSR: shared values, self-congruity, and happiness. However, following fsQCA, two pathways were found: (1) presence of shared values, and (2) presence of happiness with the absence of self-congruity. Practical implications: For practitioners, adaptations can be made for clubs to attract and maintain sponsorship as businesses seek to use grassroots sport as a channel for their own CSR objectives. To attract long term sponsorship, club managers are recommended to maintain long-term relationships with business owners especially in relation to personal values, fit, and happiness. As such, the responsibility of the club to ensure its stakeholders engage in promotional activity on behalf of their sponsor will help in maximising the financial value over multiple seasons. Originality/value: Where fertile ground for academic analysis in grassroots football is present, this research investigates CSR activity at this level of football, where most research is more concerned with professional levels of the game. Furthermore, this research reaches into the sport ecosystem through an understanding of co-created values between organisations in this exchange of shared values to meet common objectives

    Analysis of Burr Formation in Low Speed Micro-milling of Titanium Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V)

    The use of titanium based alloys in aerospace and biomedical applications make them an attractive choice for research in micro-machining. In this research, low speed micro-milling is used to analyze machinability of Ti-6Al-4V alloy as low speed machining setup is not expensive and it can be carried out on conventional machine tools already available at most machining setups. Parameters like feed per tooth, cutting speed and depth of cut are selected as machining variables and their effect on burr formation is analyzed through statistical technique analysis of variance to determine key process variables. Results show that feed per tooth is the most dominant factor in burr formation (81&thinsp;% contribution ratio). The effect of depth of cut was found to be negligible. It was also observed that micro-milling at optimum process parameters showed minimum burr formation. In terms of burr formation, as compared to high speed machining setup, better results were achieved at low speed machining setup by varying machining parameters.</p

    Abstract The thermal features of hybrid nano-powder turbulent motion through a pipe employing helical turbulator is numerically simulated via Finite Volume Method (FVM). The hybrid nanofluid (MWCNTs + Fe3O4 + H2O) is obtained by uniformly dispersing MWCNTs + Fe3O4 nanomaterials in H2O. The characteristics features of thermal energy transfer of hybrid nanofluid are investigated by varying the pitch ratio (P) of the helical turbulator and Reynolds number (Re) of the fluid. The outputs of the study are depicted in terms of contour plots of temperature, velocity, frictional irreversibility Sgen,f, and thermal irreversibility Sgen,th. The variation of Sgen,f, and Sgen,th with changing P and Re are also displayed by 3D plots. It is found that making the fluid more turbulent by increasing Re, the temperature of the fluid drops whereas the fluid velocity augments. The frictional irreversibility enhances, whereas the thermal irreversibility drops with the increasing turbulent motion. The decreasing P causes to drop the temperature of the higher turbulent fluid flow, while opposite effect is observed for smaller Re. The decreasing P causes to enhance the fluid mixing and thus augments the fluid velocity. Sgen,f and Sgen,th both augment with decreasing P. The comparison of current outputs with the older article shows an acceptable accuracy. The results of the present investigation will be useful in modelling of efficient thermal energy transfer systems

    The mechanism behind employee agreeableness and group performance ratings: a Pakistani study

    Purpose This study seeks to examine the links between employee agreeableness, group performance, and peers' perceptions of threat of retaliation, through relationship conflict. Design/methodology/approach In a laboratory setting, 42 groups of undergraduate students (N = 182) from a Pakistani university were assigned to group projects to be completed within four months. Data collected from three different questionnaires at four different times and actual scores awarded by the course instructor to each group were used for the analyses. Based on rWG(J) and ICC(1), level 1 (182 students') data were aggregated to level 2 (groups), and then analysed using regression analysis followed by Preacher and Hayes' bootstrapping procedure. Findings Results suggest that high agreeableness predicts group performance positively and peers' perceptions of threat of retaliation negatively. Moreover, relationship conflict among group members significantly mediates the agreeableness-group performance relationship. The above relationships may be sensitive to national culture. Research limitations/implications In this study, groups were formed for a few months, whereas in real organizational life, workgroups are formed for different durations. Therefore, the range of situations to which these findings generalize remains an open question. Practical implications Agreeableness of group members can be constructive for performance of the group. Managers may utilize this insight while forming groups, and rating performance. Originality/value There is dearth of research illuminating how employee's personality traits affect group performance and appraisal ratings. The study tests the effects of employee agreeableness on: (1) group performance, as rated by supervisors; (2) the threat of retaliation, as perceived by peer raters; and (3) the mediating effect of relationship conflict
