Quantum Impurity in Luttinger Liquid: Universal Conductance with Entanglement Renormalization
We study numerically the universal conductance of Luttinger liquids wire with
a single impurity via the Muti-scale Entanglement Renormalization Ansatz
(MERA). The scale invariant MERA provides an efficient way to extract scaling
operators and scaling dimensions for both the bulk and the boundary conformal
field theories. By utilizing the key relationship between the conductance
tensor and ground-state correlation function, the universal conductance can be
evaluated within the framework of the boundary MERA. We construct the boundary
MERA to compute the correlation functions and scaling dimensions for the
Kane-Fisher fixed points by modeling the single impurity as a junction (weak
link) of two interacting wires. We show that the universal behavior of the
junction can be easily identified within the MERA and argue that the boundary
MERA framework has tremendous potential to classify the fixed points in general
multi-wire junctions.Comment: 14 pages, 18 figure
A Field Study of CRM on Hotel Enterprises
The value of customer relationship is well recognized by many leading companies, especially for the service companies. For the hotel enterprise, application of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a great opportunity to increase the customer value and provides a way to systematically attract, acquire and retain the customers. The main purposes of this study are to provide a framework to review the strategic application in related to customer connections on high quality hotel enterprises.
This study has taken the hotel enterprise as an example to perform a field study. These hotels, based on the surveyed data, have done the connections for customer knowledge in 69%, for customer-connective technologies in 84% and for customer economics in 75%

Fuzzy Integral with Particle Swarm Optimization for a Motor-Imagery-Based Brain-Computer Interface
© 2016 IEEE. A brain-computer interface (BCI) system using electroencephalography signals provides a convenient means of communication between the human brain and a computer. Motor imagery (MI), in which motor actions are mentally rehearsed without engaging in actual physical execution, has been widely used as a major BCI approach. One robust algorithm that can successfully cope with the individual differences in MI-related rhythmic patterns is to create diverse ensemble classifiers using the subband common spatial pattern (SBCSP) method. To aggregate outputs of ensemble members, this study uses fuzzy integral with particle swarm optimization (PSO), which can regulate subject-specific parameters for the assignment of optimal confidence levels for classifiers. The proposed system combining SBCSP, fuzzy integral, and PSO exhibits robust performance for offline single-trial classification of MI and real-time control of a robotic arm using MI. This paper represents the first attempt to utilize fuzzy fusion technique to attack the individual differences problem of MI applications in real-world noisy environments. The results of this study demonstrate the practical feasibility of implementing the proposed method for real-world applications
