    Inhibition of carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1A in hepatic stellate cells protects against fibrosis

    One of the most common types of fibrotic liver occurs in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), which may develop into non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
