    The purpose of this study was to find out how to memorize the Al Qur'an students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang, and to determine the effect of memorizing the Qur'an on learning achievement in Arabic. This type of research is field research (Field Research) using a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that the first, Al-Qur'an memorization of XII grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang School, from the calculation of the average value of Variable X (Al-Qur'an Recitation) was 23.33 then it was included in the Very Good category. Secondly, the influence between memorization of Al-Qur'an with Arabic learning achievement from the calculation obtained by rxy Correlation Coefficient is 0.405 from the value of r table that is 0.330 at a significant level of 1% or 0.254 at a significant level of 5%, can be accepted and applied. Conclusion, memorization of Al-Qur'an The XII grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang are included in the very good category and there is a very statistically significant effect on memorizing the Qur'an with the achievement of learning Arabic.     Performance of PID controller for engine speed controller using CVT

    This project is a simulation and experimental investigation into the development of PID controller using MATLAB SIMULINK software. The simulation development of the PID controller with the mathematical model of DC motor is done using Ziegler-Nichols method and trial and error method. The PID parameters are to be tested with an actual motor also with the PID controller in MATLAB/SIMULINK software. In order to implement the PID controller from the software to the actual DC motor data acquisition is used. From the simulation and the experiment, the result performance of the PID controller is compared in term of response and the assessment is presented. CVT transmission firstly designed using the Solid Work software to know the mechanical system and the dimension of this transmission. Then, the mathematical calculation is done to know the criteria DC Motor to be selected and the exact rotation of the motor as primary source to the transmission. The motor must be capable to produce 4.14N.m or more of torque in order to mechanism to function perfectly until it reach it limit.the DC motor should rotate only in 16.12rad or 2.57 rotation.Therefore PID controller are used to achieve this value in the simulation. After using the trial and error metod in order to decided the exact value for costant value of Kp=15, Ki=25 and Kd=0.15 in PID controller system to ensure the DC motor is rotated in 16.12rad

    Toxicity immobilization of refinery sludge containing heavy metals via vitrification process

    Heavy metals are known to be toxic to human and the environment. Despite the growing of petrochemical and refinery industries, the world is facing problems with the heavy metals contamination from the sludge by the industries. Many methods have been applied to address these issues from the refinery sludge. In this study, stabilization and solidification of refinery sludge containing heavy metals using vitrification method was utilized to solve this problem. The ashing temperature of 550oC was selected in preparing the ash of the dried sludge prior to the vitrification process at 1110oC to 1400oC. After vitrification, all samples were morphologically, thermally and toxically analyzed using Scanning Electron Microscopy, Thermogravimetric Analysis and Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure. The sludge contained high amount of iron and aluminum, followed by some amount of magnesium, gold, arsenic and zinc with some traces of nickel and lead. Results showed that at maximum vitrified temperature of 1400oC, no magnesium, nickel and lead were detected in the sludge and only some traces of other heavy metals with less than 1 ppm. The vitrification method exhibits excellent output in immobilizing the transition metals leading to a reduction in environmental pollution caused by petrochemical and refinery sludge containing heavy metals

    The information of solar atmosphere was obtained after investigating the recording radiation of the space mission. With technology growing recently, a lot of solar radio receiver was introduced to monitor the solar radio activity on the ground with high efficiency. It is recorded in every second for 24 hours per day. A massive of solar radio spectra data produced every day that makes it impossible to identify, whether the data contain burst or not. By doing manual detection, human effort and error become the issues when the solar astronomer needs the fast and accurate result. Recently, the success of various techniques in image processing to identify solar radio burst automatically was presented. This paper reviews previous technique in image processing.     A review on electromagnetics (EM) exposure measurement techniques from base station

    EM exposure in the range of non-ionizing radiations (NIR) which falls in the radio frequency up to 3GHz is mainly sourced from mobile phone base stations, broadcast towers and radar facilities. This reviews based on previous researcher obtained results and methods in order to determine the best technique to measure the exposure. Moreover, the estimation of exposure levels by considering the specification of the antennas installed and area of the base stations itself was also reviewed. It was found that numerous study of NIR exposure level has been conducted in other countries, while Malaysia has become aware of the importance.
