Optical and Electrical Properties of TiO2 Doped Fe2O3 Thin Film Prepared by Spray Paralysis Technique

In this work, iron oxide (Fe2O3) and titanium oxide (TiO2) doping (Fe2O3) thin films have been prepared by spray pyrolysis technique (SPT) on a glass substrate. We have studied the effects of various doping percentage of (TiO2) on (Fe2O3) optical and electrical properties. The optical parameters of the prepared films as absorbance, absorption coefficient, optical energy gap and refractive index have been calculated for all prepared films. D.C conductivity and Hall effect for all films are measured. The results showed that absorbance of prepared films decreases with increasing percentage of (TiO2) this lead to increase the energy gap and conductivity decreased with increasing of percentage of (TiO2) as well as the results showed throughout the study that all films have tow activation energy, its value increase with increasing of percentage of (TiO2). Hall effect measurement showed all films have n-type conductivity

H.B. MUNAF. 1986.The hosts and species of ticks of the genera Amblyomma, Boophilus and Rhipicephalus recorded parasitizing buffaloes and cattle in Indonesia.Berita Biologi 3 (6) : 287 - 292.About 30 species of mammals, one reptile and Several birds were incriminated as the hosts for seven species of ticks of the genera Amblyomma, Boophilus and Rhipicephalus parasitizing buffa loes artd cattle in Indonesia. Among the ticks, B. microplus and R. pilans: are considered a serious pest to livestocks, whilst A. testudina\u27rium could become a- potential vector in spreading diseases.A. babirussae was recorded as an endemic species found in Central and South Sulawesi; and R. haemaphysaloides seemed likely to have a limited distribution in the upperpart half of Sumatera only. A key to identify the seven species of ticks listed is given

The Susceptibility of Laboratory Animals to Trypanosoma Evansi Infections

Trypanosoma evansi, one of about 200 trypanosomes species encountered in mammals in the world, is the causative agent of an economically important disease among domestic animals called surra. Many studies on T. evansi has been made using various experimental animals such as chicks and fowls for kifectivity (Alwar 1962, Manuel & Cajita 1967), mice for influences of temperature (Marthur 1976) and rats for immunological studies (Assoku 1975). Even larger animals such as goats, pigs, horses, cattle and buffaloes have been used by several workers in studying T. evansi infections (Chand & Singh 1971, Gill 1971, Srivastava & Ahluwalia 1972).The present paper deals with the susceptibilities of small laboratory animals to T. evansi infections in order to determine which animals are suitable for maintaining T. Svansi in the laboratory. All works in this study were done at the Filariasis Research Division of the Institute for Medical Research (IMR), Kuala Lumpur

Mutu Kulit Glase Dari Kulit Domba Peranakan Merino

This research used four pieces of good quality merino descendent sheep skin and four pieces of good quality local sheep of glace leather produced from merino descendent sheep skin to that one from local sheep skin. Either merino descendent sheep skins or the local ones were processed into glase leather through the ordinary tanning method. Glace leather output from this research were visual investigated and physical tested. Statistical analysys points out that there is unsignify difference (P ≼ 0,05) the influence of the species either it is merino and the stretch of glaze leather. It is also unsignify difference (P ≼ 0,05) the influence of the species either it is merino descendent sheep skin or the local one to the quality of glaze leather.Pratical meaning of this research is that merino descendent sheep skin may be tanned into glaze leather having same quality to that one from local sheep skins

Quantum transport across van der Waals domain walls in bilayer graphene

Bilayer graphene can exhibit deformations such that the two graphene sheets are locally detached from each other resulting in a structure consisting of domains with different inter-layer coupling. Here we investigate how the presence of these domains affect the transport properties of bilayer graphene. We derive analytical expressions for the transmission probability, and the corresponding conductance, across walls separating different inter-layer coupling domain. We find that the transmission can exhibit a valley-dependent layer asymmetry and that the domain walls have a considerable effect on the chiral tunnelling properties of the charge carriers. We show that transport measurements allow one to obtain the strength with which the two layers are coupled. We performed numerical calculations for systems with two domain walls and find that the availability of multiple transport channels in bilayer graphene modifies significantly the conductance dependence on inter-layer potential asymmetry.Comment: 20 pages, 24 Figure

Hypocenter Distribution of Low Frequency Event at Papandayan Volcano

Papandayan volcano is a stratovolcano with irregular cone-shaped has eight craters around the peak. The most active crater in Papandayan is a Mas crater. Distribution of relocated event calculated using Geiger Adaptive Damping Algorithm (GAD) shows that the epicenter of the event centered below Mas crater with maximum rms 0.114. While depth of the hypocenter range between 0-2 km and 5-6 km due to activity of steam and gas

Determinant Analysis of Residual Net Income in the Sharia Cooperative: Company Size as Mediator

This study aims to identify the effect of own capital and financing to net income (SHU), and how its effect when mediated by total assets. The population in this research are all Sharia Cooperative which operates in Semarang regency, there are 25 cooperatives. Sampling technique using is purposive sampling technique, which finally obtained 13 cooperatives with a period of observation 5 years. The method of analysis used to answer the hypothesis in this research is Path Analysis and Sobel Test. The results of this study indicate that partially own capital and financing have a significant positive effect on total asset, own capital has a significant positive effect on net income, financing has no significant effect on net income, total asset has an insignificant positive effect on net income, total asset did not succeed in mediating the effect of own capital on net income, and total asset succeed in mediating the effect of financing on net income.
