Hyperhomocysteinemia and Low Folate and Vitamin B12 Are Associated with Vascular Dysfunction and Impaired Nitric Oxide Sensitivity in Morbidly Obese Patients.

There is a high prevalence of hyperhomocysteinemia that has been linked to high cardiovascular risk in obese individuals and could be attributed to poor nutritional status of folate and vitamin B12. We sought to examine the association between blood homocysteine (Hcy) folate, and vitamin B12 levels and vascular dysfunction in morbidly obese adults using novel ex vivo flow-induced dilation (FID) measurements of isolated adipose tissue arterioles. Brachial artery flow-mediated dilation (FMD) was also measured. Subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue biopsies were obtained from morbidly obese individuals and non-obese controls. Resistance arterioles were isolated in which FID, acetylcholine-induced dilation (AChID), and nitric oxide (NO) production were measured in the absence or presence of the NO synthase inhibitor, L-NAME, Hcy, or the superoxide dismutase mimetic, TEMPOL. Our results demonstrated that plasma Hcy concentrations were significantly higher, while folate, vitamin B12, and NO were significantly lower in obese subjects compared to controls. Hcy concentrations correlated positively with BMI, fat %, and insulin levels but not with folate or vitamin B12. Brachial and arteriolar vasodilation were lower in obese subjects, positively correlated with folate and vitamin B12, and inversely correlated with Hcy. Arteriolar NO measurements and sensitivity to L-NAME were lower in obese subjects compared to controls. Finally, Hcy incubation reduced arteriolar FID and NO sensitivity, an effect that was abolished by TEMPOL. In conclusion, these data suggest that high concentrations of plasma Hcy and low concentrations of folate and vitamin B12 could be independent predictors of vascular dysfunction in morbidly obese individuals

Изучение международного опыта подготовки кадров военнослужащих будет иметь позитивный эффект в любом случае, ведь положительные вариации можно применить на собственном опыте, а отрицательные – исключить из списка возможных для реализации в своей стране. На современном этапе в Ливии подготовка военных кадров проводится в государственных военных училищах определенной направленности (военно-морское, военно-воздушное, военно-сухопутное, военное училище противовоздушной обороны). Исследование опыта мировых стран в области подготовки военных кадров позволит выделить возможные и необходимые пути совершенствования не только самого процесса обучения, но и учета затрат на такую подготовку как важную составляющую реформирования бухгалтерского учета в государственном секторе Ливии в целом. Также международный опыт подготовки кадров военнослужащих позволит выделить положительные изменения и результаты в случае его практического внедрения в Ливии, их влияние на построения патриотичных и современных Вооруженных сил

Studying International experience in training military personnel will have a positive effect in any case, because positive variations can be applied first hand, and negative ones can be excluded from the list of possible ones for implementation in your country. At the present stage in Libya, the training of military personnel is carried out in state military schools of a specific orientation (naval, air force, military land, military air defense school). The study of the experience of world countries in the field of military training will highlight the possible and necessary ways to improve not only the learning process, but also the accounting for the cost of such training as an important component of accounting reform in the public sector of Libya as a whole. Pour l'art comme désintéressement, pour la discussion immédiate ou ultérieure des idées, Remy de Gourmont invente, en faisant avancer la critique, le français et sa littérature; sa méthode dissociative ayant pour principal enjeu de découvrir ou restaurer la valeur de l effort littéraire en démontant les lieux communs et les stéréotypes qui empêchent de le voir. Socioeconomically Dimensions of the Jurisprudence (FIQH) Problem and Urbanization Conditions in Islamic West between Regular Jurisprudence (FIQH) and the Jurisprudence (FIQH) of the Place

This study tries to explain the importance of the jurisprudence (FIQH) problem in Islamic society; specially in Western Islamic countries. It will explain the role of the problem on the catastrophic status of urbanization and the reasons behind its relapse. The city of "Talmasan" and the situation of people at that time will be used as a case study. The results will enrich jurisprudence (FIQH) of the place over the regular jurisprudence (FIQH). The analysis is a new approach which does not depend on the approach of quotation of the regular jurist (FQIH) or migrant academician. The aim of the study is trying to identify the Descendents and their role in the enrichment of historical material, despite what is said of the obstacles that contribute to localizing and reviving them and the difficulty of their Fiqh language. This study was based on the heuristic method through textual excavations in the effort referred to by his name. The study used key words like the sciences of language, and the modern critical school such as: the generated text, intertextuality, the working sentence, the starting sentence, the target sentence and discussed its relationship with the descending. The study was divided into main sections namely: the literature of the study and its theoretical framework and the formative field of the Fiqh "history". The study recommended the importance of withdrawing the Fiqh guidelines to their historicity, so that we expand the science of fiqh in its chapter to be a document in the historical record

Influence of crumb rubber size particles on moisture damage and strength of the hot mix asphalt

Tropical countries such as Malaysia experience a high amount of rainfall that can lead to a common type of distress on the roads known as moisture damage. Using waste materials as additives in the asphalt mixture is an innovative measure to improve the quality and strength of the mixture. In this study, 5% of crumb rubber (CR) by the total weight of binder was added to the asphalt mixture in three different sizes of 0.075 mm, 0.15 mm, and 0.3 mm. The wet method was applied to blend the CR with virgin asphalt binder grade 60/70. The aggregate gradation applied in this study was 9.5 Nominal maximum aggregate size. The samples were produced with the Superpave gyratory compactor. Moisture sensitivity (ASSTHO T-283) and indirect tensile strength (ITS) tests were performed to evaluate the impact of the CR sizes on the asphalt mixture. The findings showed that the CR addition improved the strength of the asphalt mixture. Furthermore, there was an increment in the ITS with an increasing size of CR. The addition of 5% CR resulted in a minor reduction of the moisture resistance. Thus, a slight improvement in the moisture resistance was detected with a reduction in CR size. Overall, all asphalt mixtures in this study had TSR of more than 80%, thus passing the moisture damage test requirements
