Data-driven network performance prediction for B5G networks: a graph neural network approach
Extreme connectivity, dynamic resource provision-ing and demand of quality assurance in 5G and Beyond 5G (B5G) networks calls for advance network modeling solutions. We need functional network models that are able to produce accurate prediction of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as latency, overall delay, jitter or packet loss at low cost. Graph Neural Networks (GNN) have already shown great potential for network performance prediction, because of their ability to understand the network configurations. In this paper, we focus on improving the generalization capabilities of GNN in relatively complex IP transport network scenarios of future generation networks. We take RouteNet GNN as a reference model and present an alternative GNN. We train both models with relatively smaller network scenarios while for evaluation we use complex and large network configurations. After hyper-parameter tuning for RouteNet and proposed GNN, the results show that our model outperforms baseline architecture in evaluation phase. The validation losses for scenarios not seen during training phase, are significantly lower than the RouteNet
The X-Ray Spectral Variability of Mrk 766
Analysis results from ASCA and ROSAT observations of the narrow-line Seyfert
1 galaxy Mrk 766 are reported. In the ASCA observation we observed rapid
variability with a doubling time scale of 1000 seconds. A spectral variability
event was observed in which the spectrum softened and hardened above and below
~1 keV, respectively, as the flux increased. The spectra could be modeled with
5 components: a power law, warm absorber, iron K(alpha) line and soft excess
component flux. The spectral variability resulted from a highly significant
change in the intrinsic photon law index from Gamma ~1.6 to ~2.0, an increase
in the warm absorber ionization, and a marginally significant decrease in the
soft component normalization. A ~100 eV equivalent width narrow iron K(alpha)
line was detected in the high state spectrum. Spectral hardening during flux
increases was observed in three ROSAT observations.
The change in intrinsic photon index and disappearance of the soft excess
component in the ASCA spectra can be explained as a transition from a first
order pair reprocessed spectrum to a pair cascade brought about by a sudden
increase in the injected electron Lorentz factor. The change in the ionization
of the warm absorber, though model dependent, could correspond to the increase
in flux at the oxygen edges resulting from the spectral index change. The ROSAT
spectral variability can be interpreted by variable intensity hard power law
and a relatively nonvarying soft component, possibly primary disk emission.
These results are compared with those reported from other narrow-line Seyfert 1

Comparison of different dietary sources of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on immune response in broiler chickens
The study aims to research the effects of varied dietary sources of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) on the immune response in broiler chickens with stress on natural killer (NK) cell activity. Diets supplemented with one of the four sources of n-3 PUFA: linseed oil-, echium oil-, fish oil (FO) or algal biomass-enriched diets at levels of 18, 18, 50 and 15 g/kg fresh weight, were provided for one-d-old male Ross 308 broilers, totaling 340 in number, until they were slaughtered. The analyses included total lipid profile using gas chromatography (GC) for plasma, spleen, thymus, and blood. Additionally, NK cell activity and cell proliferation were investigated for thymocytes and splenocytes. The results indicated that the source of n-3 PUFA had a strong influence on fatty acid composition across all tissues. NK activity was highest in splenocytes and PBMCs from broilers fed linseed oil, followed by those fed algal biomass or echium oil, and lowest for those from broilers fed FO. The proliferative response of lymphocytes from algal biomass-fed chickens tended to be the highest, followed by those fed linseed oil in most cases. Lymphocytes from chickens fed fish oil showed the lowest proliferative response. These results could mean that a docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)-rich algal product might enrich chicken meat with n-3 PUFA without significant damaging effects on chicken immunity
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the lung in an adolescent boy
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors of the lung are rare, here, an unusual case is described. A 14-year-old boy presented with a history of weight loss and clubbing and was found to have a solitary circumscribed mass in right lower lobe treated with lobectomy. This case indicates the need for early and complete removal of the inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the lung
Clear cell carcinoma of ovary with associated mucinous cystadenoma and endometriosis
A 45 year old woman presented with right sided ovarian mass with multiple omental deposits and liver metastases. The right ovary was enlarged and showed a partly cystic partly solid cut surface. Histological picture showed clear cell carcinoma with areas of mucinous cystadenoma and endometriosis. Clear cell carcinoma is known to be associated with endometriosis. To the best of author\u27s knowledge, it\u27s association with mucinous cystadenoma has been described only once in the literature, where clear cell carcinoma was shown to be associated with mucinous cystadenoma without any evidence of endometriosis
The Suzaku Observation of NGC 3516: Complex Absorption and the Broad and Narrow Fe K Lines
We present results from a 150 ksec Suzaku observation of the Seyfert 1.5 NGC
3516 in October 2005. The source was in a relatively highly absorbed state. Our
best-fit model is consistent with the presence of a low-ionization absorber
which has a column density near 5 * 10^{22} cm^{-2} and covers most of the
X-ray continuum source (covering fraction 96-100%). A high-ionization absorbing
component, which yields a narrow absorption feature consistent with Fe K XXVI,
is confirmed. A relativistically broadened Fe K alpha line is required in all
fits, even after the complex absorption is taken into account; an additional
partial-covering component is an inadequate substitute for the continuum
curvature associated with the broad Fe line. A narrow Fe K alpha emission line
has a velocity width consistent with the Broad Line Region. The low-ionization
absorber may be responsible for producing the narrow Fe K alpha line, though a
contribution from additional material out of the line of sight is possible. We
include in our model soft band emission lines from He- and H-like ions of N, O,
Ne and Mg, consistent with photo-ionization, though a small contribution from

Diagnostic Surgical Pathology: the importance of Second Opinion in a Developing Country
Objective: To review the cases sent to the section of histopathology, Aga Khan Universty (AKU) for second opinion and see whether there are significant differences in the original outside diagnosis and the subsequent diagnosis submitted by us.
Methods: A retrospective study of all consecutive cases for second opinion in the form of paraffin blocks from 1st Novemver 2001 to 31st July 2002. The primary submitted diagnosis in each case was compared with the subsequent AKU diagnosis.
Results: The study included a total of 381 cases. However, in 45 cases (11.81%), initial histopathological diagnosis was not provided. Out of the remaining 336 cases, there were differences between the original diagnosis and the subsequent AKU diagnosis in 120 cases (35.71%). Out of these 120 cases, immunohistochemistry was performed in 65 cases (54.16%) only.
Conclusion: In a developing country like Pakistan, where few laboratories are equipped to function as modern histopathology units, second opinion on difficult cases is very important. Worldwide, the concept of second opinion in surgical pathology is well established
