Investments in new technologies for import substitution of agricultural products
© International Economic Society. The article reflects new approaches to attract investment resources for the development of the poultry industry using innovative technologies. The proposed scientific recommendations will contribute to a significant reduction in the cost of hatching eggs in the first stage, and ultimately the overall cost reduction of finished products - poultry. The investments within three years will pay off. Thus this will create a new production base which is not inferior to the existing Western counterparts on the production and sale of hatching eggs as in the Mari El Republic and abroad, which will also help reducing the cost of the final product
Near-threshold production of -mesons in and NN collisions and -mixing
We consider near-threshold -meson production in and
collisions. An effective Lagrangian approach with one-pion exchange is applied
to analyze different contributions to the cross section for different isospin
channels. The Reggeon exchange mechanism is also evaluated for comparison. The
results from reactions are used to calculate the contribution of the
meson to the cross sections and invariant mass distributions
of the reactions and . It is found that
the experimental observation of mesons in the reaction is much more promising than the observation of mesons in
the reaction . Effects of isospin violation in the reactions
, , and , which are induced by -- mixing, are also analyzed.Comment: 43 pages, including 16 eps figures, to be bublished in Phys. Atom.

The country's economic growth models and the potential for budgetary, monetary and private financing of gross domestic product growth
This article examines the financing of GDP growth within the framework of catch-up, evolutionary and dynamic models of economic development. Methods/statistical analysis: using the principles of the Solow model and the Cobb-Douglas function, an analysis of the nature of the models has been carried out, considering the processes of capital accumulation, the rate of growth of the workforce, and various aggregate factor productivities. With the help of historical logic and statistical evaluation, examples of countries relating to each of the models examined are reviewed.
Based on the analysis, the main ways of financing economic growth are noted: both the state ones, due to budgetary and monetary policy measures, and private ones. It has been proven that with the transition from catch-up to an evolutionary or dynamic model, the role of the state as a centralizing force is diminishing. At the same time, the specificity of a dynamic model is due to the country's objective ability to be among the technological leaders, which is predetermined by the high values of current GDP, per capita GDP, and population size. Countries with an evolutionary model of development are constrained in their ability to maintain a comparable pace of development only within separate "growth points".
The main result of the work is the assessment of Russia's potential from the viewpoint of one of the models considered, based on a comparative analysis of several capital indicators, as well as a logical analysis of data on the level of GDP and population with other countries. This makes it possible to make recommendations for financing the country's GDP growth in the medium to long term. Scope/Improvements: The findings can be used in the development of Russia's financial and economic strategy up to 2030.peer-reviewe
Aspects of a0-f0 mixing in the reaction pn->da0
Some aspects of a0-f0 mixing effects in the reaction
with perpendicular polarized proton beam are discussed. An angular--asymmetry
parameter is defined to study those effects. It is shown that, for energies
close to the production threshold, the angular--asymmetry parameter is proportional to the a0-f0 mixing amplitude for arbitrary polar and
azimuthal angles and of the outgoing meson. This
statement is also valid for arbitrary energies, but then only at polar angles
and . The mass dependence of the differential cross
section in the reaction in the
presence of \mix mixing is also discussed.Comment: 17 pages, 3 Figure

The effect of water dynamics on conformation changes of albumin in pre-denaturation state:photon correlation spectroscopy and simulation
Water is essential for protein three-dimensional structure, conformational dynamics, and activity. Human serum albumin (HSA) is one of major blood plasma proteins, and its functioning is fundamentally determined by the dynamics of surrounding water. The goal of this study is to link the conformational dynamics of albumin to the thermal motions in water taking place in the physiological temperature range. We report the results of photon correlation spectroscopy and molecular dynamics simulations of HSA in aqueous solution. The experimental data processing produced the temperature dependence of the HSA hydrodynamic radius and its zeta potential. Molecular dynamics reproduced the results of experiments and revealed changes in the secondary structure caused by the destruction of hydrogen bonds in the macromolecule's globule
The roles of vitamin D in the prevention and the therapy of male infertility
The results of fundamental and clinical studies show the importance of providing males with vitamin D in order to (1) assist the formation of the testicles, (2) maintain the steroid-synthesizing and other functions of the testicles, (3) maintain the functioning of the spermatozoa and, in general, maintain the male fertility
Neurotrophic and antioxidant potential of neuropeptides and trace elements
Neurotrophic therapy with brain extract-based drugs has been performed for decades. The basis for their neurotrophic activity is amino acids and neuropeptides. However, incomplete information on the composition of these drugs precludes a detailed description of mechanisms through which their pharmacological effects occur. The review considers the results of the most recent molecular pharmacological investigations and the mechanisms of therapeutic action of cerebrolysin
Cucurbituril-based Supramolecular complexes with platinum compounds influence on expression of CTLA-4 on Regulatory T cells
Tumors are a leading pathology in the population. Chemotherapy cannot provide adequately and effectively to cure patients. Some medicine, such as cytostatic, are characterized by a wide range of side effects and resistance of solid tumors to chemotherapy by these medicines. In recent research, the mechanisms of action of cytotoxic agents have been described, and the most appropriate causes of resistance have been suggested. Drug delivery system based on Cucurbit[7]uril (CB[7]) was used to minimize side effects and overcome resistance. CB[7] has ability to form host-guest supramolecular complexes with oxaliplatin and carboplatin. It is important to consider the immune system maintain to a great role, and platinum compounds are able to have an immunomodulatory effect on immunocompetent cells. There is convincing evidence about the cytotoxic response against tumor cells is also associated with immunomodulating properties. A specific immune microenvironment with high frequency of suppressor cells is made by tumors. FoxP3+ regulatory T cells are recruited by the tumor, an increased number of these cells and expression levels of CTLA-4 and PD-1 on them contribute to the progression of the tumor process. These markers correlate with recurrence and poor survival of the patients. Therefore, it is necessary that antitumor therapy agents have an effect on a subpopulation of regulatory T cells and their functional activity. This study evaluated the effects of cucurbit[7] uril, platinum compounds, and supramolecular complexes on FoxP3+ regulatory T cells and the expression of immune checkpoint molecules. In this study peripheral blood cells from volunteers (n = 8, average 29.0±2.4) were used. Mononuclear cells obtained in the standard protocol were incubated for 72 h at concentrations of 0.3 and 0.1 mM for carboplatin and oxaliplatin, respectively, as well as complexes and CB[7] in equivalent dosages. Next, the samples were labeled with monoclonal antibodies to determine the phenotype and expression of immune checkpoint molecules by flow cytometry. We obtained the following results: The CB[7]-carboplatin complex in stimulated and non-stimulated cultures significantly reduced the number of FoxP3+ regulatory T cells compared to the control. At the same time, carboplatin and the CB[7]-carboplatin complex reduced the expression of CTLA-4 in an non-stimulated culture compared to CB[7].Complexes of Cucurbit[7]urils with platinum compounds are a perspective antitumor agent with immunomodulatory properties
