    La relación entre los creativos independientes de la televisión pública y la audiencia infantil

    This article refers to a research on the social function of college radio in Mexico, which falls within the context of university media research. The theoretical approach of Manuel Martín Serrano and the mass communication model of professor Carlos Lozano were considered. The main objective of the research was to analyze the communicative mediation associated with the radio programming of three college radio stations (Radio UANL 89.7, Frecuencia TEC 94.9 and Radio UDEM 90.5) from the communicative perspective of the messages and the impact of the elements that they intervene in the construction of radio products, which are presented immediately under a classification of training, information, and entertainment. For researching the subject, a quantitative methodology was implemented, choosing “length of time” as an impact variable for the measurement of daily programming time, as well as the comparison of themes and communicative products projected by the broadcasting stations. The results indicate that the musical frame occupies between 60 % and 67 % of the programming. The generality shown in the radio programs lies in the homogeneity in programming schedules on the morning, because information contents monopolize most of spaces in the three stations, providing another option in quadrant that benefits the social function. The conclusions indicate a bet on diversification of programming and a communicative practice based on offering educative entertainment, showing a new space of interrelation as well as their understanding of the university’s identity development.Este artigo faz referência à pesquisa sobre a função social da radio universitária no México, inscrito no contexto de pesquisas em meios de comunicação universitários. Retoma-se a proposta teórica de Manuel Martín Serrano e o modelo de comunicação massiva do professor Carlos Lozano. O objetivo geral da pesquisa esteve em analisar a mediação comunicativa associada à programação radiofônica de três estações de rádio universitárias (Radio UANL89.7, Frecuencia TEC 94.9 e Radio UDEM 90.5) a partir da perspectiva comunicativa da mensagem e do impacto de elementos que intervêm na construção de produtos radiofônicos, os quais são apresentados de forma imediata sob a classificação de formativos, informativos e de entretenimento. Para a indagação do tema, implementou-se uma metodologia quantitativa e escolheu-se “tempo de duração” como variável de impacto para medir o tempo de programação diária, assim como o cotejo das temáticas e dos produtos comunicativos projetados pelas rádios. Os resultados obtidos indicaram que a temática musical ocupa entre 60 % e 67 % da programação. A generalidade que os programas radiofônicos universitários expõem é uma homogeneidade no horário matutino, devido ao fato que os conteúdos informativos tomam conta da maioria dos espaços nas três emissoras e assim proporciona uma opção a mais no quadrante que beneficia à função social. As conclusões obtidas indicam uma aposta na diversificação da programação e uma prática comunicativa baseada em oferecer entretenimento culto e mostrar um espaço novo de inter-relação, bem como sua compreensão do desenvolvimento identitário da universidade.Este artículo explica cómo se presenta la relación entre los directores, guionistas, productores, realizadores e investigadores independientes de la televisión pública de Chile, Colombia y México, y la audiencia infantil; además, establece los criterios para definir un público objetivo. Para este estudio de corte cualitativo, se aplicaron 21 cuestionarios a los realizadores de programas emitidos a través de los canales de televisión pública como TVN y Novasur de Chile, el canal Once y Canal 22de México y Señal Colombia, los cuales recibieron nominaciones o premios nacionales e internacionales desde su emisión. Los resultados evidencian que la relación se presenta por iniciativa propia y no por los canales. Además, esta se produce tanto en la fase creativa del proyecto -para testear su viabilidad- como en la etapa de producción de los contenidos durante las grabaciones. Sin embargo, se identifica que no hay un seguimiento de la aceptación y apropiación de los mensajes producidos y emitidos por los canales de televisión, especialmente en aquellos que producen propuestas culturales y de eduentretenimiento -uno de los objetivos de la televisión pública-. Finalmente, los creativos de la televisión brindan una serie de recomendaciones importantes para diseñar proyectos audiovisuales infantiles, que tienen en cuenta aspectos como la investigación, contenidos, producción y participación de la audiencia

    An Institutional Analysis of Cost Accounting Practices in the Spanish Eighteenth Century

    A growing body of literature (Johnson, 1972; Tyson, 1990; Fleischman and Parker, 1990 and 1991; Edwards and Newell, 1991 and Fleischman et al., 1996) has evidenced that sophisticated costing techniques were used in the early stages of the Industrial Revolution for efficiency reasons. However, some scholars have questioned the role of efficiency (Hoskin and Macve, 1988; Miller, 1994, Carmona et al., 1997, 1998 and 2002 and Gutiérrez et al., 2005) and have suggested institutional explanations for the development of cost accounting. The purpose of this research is to extend this institutional explanation of accounting spreading in the second half of the 18th century, Enlightenment Century Spain. With this aim, this work explores the changes that took place in six organizations depended of the Crown. This will allow us to define the integral ratio of a log-concave function, which will extend the notion of volume ratio, and we will find the log-concave function maximizing the integral ratio. A reverse functional affine isoperimetric inequality will be given, written in terms of this integral ratio.     Effects of martial arts and combat sports training on anger and aggression: a systematic review

    [EN] Martial Arts and combat sports (MA&CS) are the subject of a dispute. On the one hand, they have been considered an ideal means to acquire emotional self-control. On the other hand, they have been considered aggressive practices which may promote violent behaviors. The current systematic review aims to analyze the evidence of the effects of MA&CS participation in anger and aggression, and the quality of this evidence. The review was conducted according to the PRISMA-P protocol. The studied variables were study type and aims, sample, interventions and procedures, measurements and outcomes. Nine studies (three cohort studies and six randomized controlled trials) were selected for inclusion. The following results should be viewed with much caution, as the volume of studies and the methodological quality of most of them is not optimal. Training in traditional martial arts seems to be an effective means to lower levels of anger and aggression. Regarding the age of subjects, there is a predisposition to reduce anger in the adult population. In addition, young subjects with violent or behavioral problems show a positive response to working with martial arts. However, the available evidence, overall, shows no relationship between MA&CS practice and anger and aggression levels.S

    El activismo narrativo en el universo creativo de Sense8

    En este artículo se realizó un análisis del universo narrativo de la serie de ficción de Netflix Sense8 a través del arco de transformación del personaje gay denominado Lito Rodríguez, tomando como referencia las 88 secuencias y escenas en las que participa a lo largo de las dos temporadas (24 episodios). Con la información analizada, se identificaron cuatro categorías: la caracterización de Lito, el miedo del personaje, nace un nuevo héroe y la censura de Lito, además de seis puntos de giro que evidencian los diferentes estados del personaje. Como conclusión se expone que a través de este contenido, las hermanas Wachowski diseñaron un personaje profundo, con gran capacidad de agencia, que representa a un grupo minoritario mediante un activismo audiovisual que se opone a las estructuras hegemónicas de la industria de Hollywood
