Diseño y ejecución de la estructura soporte de camaras de coque

El diseño de las estructuras que se utilizan para albergar las cámaras de coque posee unas particularidades derivadas de las características intrínsecas del proceso de coquizado. Las cámaras de coque tienen diámetros de más de 10m y longitudes de más de 40m, pesos en vacío de unas 400t y en operación de más de 3500t. La altura a la que suelen estar colocadas es de unos 25 m sobre el suelo y alrededor y sobre las mismas se ha de construir una estructura metálica que llega a los 120m de altura sobre el suelo. La construcción tiene también una serie de condicionantes a causa del método constructivo, que se resume en la ejecución de la estructura de hormigón inferior, una vez posicionadas las cámaras de coque se procede al izado y anclado de subestructuras metálicas a sus posiciones definitivas. Las grúas necesarias para realizar esas operaciones, de más de 1500t de capacidad de carga y alturas que superan los 150m, también determinan las fases y espacios necesarios para desarrollar los trabajos

Synthesis, molecular structure, spectroscopic and theoretical investigation of 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde-2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone

A new hydrazone derivative, 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde-2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone (5Cl-DNPHZ) has been synthesized and characterized by different spectroscopic techniques such as IR, Raman and UVeVis. A combined experimental and quantum chemical approach was performed to study the structural and spectroscopic properties of the title compound. The effect of substituents (chlorine and hydroxyl) on the benzene ring on the structural and electronic properties of 5Cl-DNPHZ and a related compound DNPHZ previously reported are analysed. Natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis was performed to obtain information about the interactions that were responsible for the stability of the different conformers of the title compound. The Atoms in molecules (AIM) calculations revealed that the intramolecular hydrogen bonding interactions observed in both conformations are of core-shell in nature. The molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) surface of the most stable conformer of 5Cl-DNPHZ shows that the oxygens of the nitro groups are prone to electrophilic attack and the hydrogen of the hydrazine group is prone to nucleophilic attack indicating that the intramolecular hydrogen bonding interaction is favoured between both groupsFil: Gil, Diego Mauricio. "Thou Hast Murdered Thyself": An Analysis of Crime in Poe's Tales

Trabajo de fin de Grado. Grado en Estudios Ingleses. Curso académico 2021-2022Este ensayo analiza el significado del crimen en los cuentos de Edgar Allan Poe. Para ello, el trabajo primero presenta una descripción del concepto de “sustancia” de Baruch Spinoza, que expresa una unidad que conecta todo con Dios. Posteriormente, explica la manera en que sus criminales son construidos a partir de esta noción, y examina tres cuentos (con sus respectivos protagonistas) en los que se observa su influencia: “El Corazón Delator”, “William Wilson” y “La Caída de la Casa Usher”. En ellos, los criminales, además de asesinar o encerrar a personas vivas, cometen el crimen máximo, que es rechazar la unidad fundamental del mundo, la unidad de lo humano y lo divino.This essay analyzes the meaning of crime in Edgar Allan Poe's short stories. It advances a description of Baruch Spinoza's concept of "substance", which implies a unity that comprises and connects everything to God. Subsequently, it explains the way in which Poe's criminals are shaped resembling Spinoza's principle, and it considers three short stories (with their respective protagonists) in which his influence can be observed: "The Tell-Tale Heart", "William Wilson" and " The Fall of the House of Usher". In them, criminals, apart from murdering or locking up people alive, commit the ultimate crime, which is rejecting the fundamental unity of the world, the unity of the human and the divine

Importance of the adoption of social responsibility in Pymes

16 páginas.El presente trabajo de investigación describe el por qué es importante que las Pymes adopten un sistema de responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE), teniendo en cuenta el impacto que generan el desarrollo de sus actividades económicas, es por eso que se debe buscar un equilibrio sostenible en los diferentes ámbitos del entorno como lo son; el económico, político y medioambiental, además de proteger los derechos de los trabajadores, brindándoles seguridad en sus lugares de trabajo, desarrollo de actividades recreacionales y otros factores que contribuyan al mejoramiento de su calidad de vida. Por lo tanto las Pymes deben empezar por entender el significado de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, que compromisos abarca, y buscar las herramientas necesarias que faciliten una mejor adaptación a la implantación de este modelo, asimismo pueden buscar apoyo en las diferentes entidades tanto públicas como privadas que promueven el compromiso por parte de las empresas para que utilicen prácticas responsables, igualmente de manera voluntaria se pueden utilizar las guías que se han diseñado para una mayor comprensión de la RSE, como lo es la reconocida ISO 26000 que brinda lineamientos basados en prácticas de RSE. Por consiguiente la adopción de esta normatividad sirve como herramienta estratégica para que las empresas se consoliden y se mantengan en el mercado tanto local como internacional, teniendo en cuenta que a través de los años el mercado es cada vez más competente y requiere de mejores estrategias que hoy en día van de la mano con la RSE, no es factible tener los mejores productos si se está atentando contra los derechos humanos y el medioambiente, por lo cual es el momento preciso de actuar y tomar decisiones responsables.The present research describes why it is important for Pymes to adopt a system of corporate social responsibility (CSR), taking into account the impact of the development of their economic activities, that is why a sustainable balance must be sought in the different areas of the environment as they are; the economic, political and environmental, as well as protecting the rights of workers, providing them with safety in their workplaces, developing recreational activities and other factors that contribute to the improvement of their quality of life. Therefore Pymes should start by understanding the meaning of Corporate Social Responsibility, which commitments encompasses, and seek the necessary tools that facilitate a better adaptation to the implementation of this model, and can seek support in the different public and private entities that promote the commitment of companies to use responsible practices, also on a voluntary basis can be used guidelines that have been designed for a better understanding of CSR, such as the recognized ISO 26000 that provides guidelines based on CSR practices . As a result, the adoption of these regulations serves as a strategic tool for companies to consolidate and remain in the market both local and international, taking into account that over the years the market is becoming more competent and requires better strategies that nowadays go hand in hand with CSR, it is not feasible to have the best products if you are attacking human rights and the environment, so it is the right time to act and make responsible decisions

Coupled electric and magnetic dipole formulation for planar arrays of dipolar particles: metasurfaces with various electric and/or magnetic meta-atoms per unit cell

The optical properties of infinite planar array of scattering particles, metasurfaces and metagratings, are attracting special attention lately for their rich phenomenology, including both plasmonic and high-refractive-index dielectric meta-atoms with a variety of electric and magnetic resonant responses. Herein we derive a coupled electric and magnetic dipole (CEMD) analytical formulation to describe the reflection and transmission of such periodic arrays, including specular and diffractive orders, valid in the spectral regimes where only dipolar multipoles are needed. Electric and/or magnetic dipoles with all three orientations arising in turn from a single or various meta-atoms per unit cell are considered. The 2D lattice Green function is rewritten in terms of a 1D (chain) version that fully converges and can be easily calculated. Modes emerging as poles of such lattice Green function can be extracted. This formulation can be applied to investigate a wealth of plasmonic, all-dielectric, and hybrid metasurfaces/metagratings of interest throughout the electromagnetic spectrum.Comment: 8 pages, 4 figure

Pseudo-K\"ahler and hypersymplectic structures on semidirect products

We study left-invariant pseudo-K\"ahler and hypersymplectic structures on semidirect products $G\rtimes H$; we work at the level of the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}\rtimes\mathfrak{h}$. In particular we consider the structures induced on $\mathfrak{g}\rtimes\mathfrak{h}$ by existing pseudo-K\"ahler structures on $\mathfrak{g}$ and $\mathfrak{h}$; we classify all semidirect products of this type with $\mathfrak{g}$ of dimension $4$ and $\mathfrak{h}=\mathbb{R}^2$. In the hypersymplectic setting, we consider a more general construction on semidirect products.
