Possibilities of Implementation of the ABC-Method (Activity-Based Costing) in the enterprises of the steel industry in Romania
This article deals with the possibilities of implementation of the Activity-Based Costing method in the enterprises of the steel industry in Romania starting from the analysis of the particularity of this branch. Those factors are highlighted, on which the successful implementation of the ABC method worldwide is based. Four main stages of implementation of the ABC-system within the enterprises of the steel industry in Romania are proposed and the authors’conclusion in this respect is presented.Activity-Based Costing; steel industry; implementation; project; production.
Ground displacement trends in an urban environment using multi-temporal inSAR analysis and two decades of multi-sensor satellite-based SAR imagery
This exploratory research used three sets of single polarized synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite data and a multi-temporal radar interferometry (InSAR) methodology to determine the spatial evolution and ground displacement trends of several industrial parks located in the metropolitan area of Bucharest, Romania. From 70candidate areas, 20 large industrial parks were selected for analysis and interpretation. InSAR analysis used SAR data acquired between 1992 and 2014 by ERS-1/-2, ENVISAT, and TerraSAR-X satellites. Ground movement patterns identified before and after 2000 were linked to groundwater table investigations based on 25 water wells, located on or in the proximity of these areas. The analysis revealed an initial subsidence or no change in uplift areas before 2000, followed by a return to zonal movement. This trend may also be related to the shutting down of industries that consumed large amounts of water, which increased deep groundwater pressure. Only one continuous subsidence trend was identified for an industrial area located south of the city, an area which continues to be active over time. Ongoing research is focused on using traditional geological andgeomorphologic investigations, as well as comparisons with fieldGlobal Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data.info:eu-repo/semantics/submittedVersio
THE INFLUENCE OF INTERACTION ORGANIC FERTILIZATION x MINERAL ON FOOD COLLECTION IN TEMPORARY MEADOWS IN THE OLTENIEI AREA
Fertilizers play an important role on the temporary grasslands in order to obtain a spontaneous crop of good quality feed. When applying manure with a modest dose of phosphorus (P50), the harvest difference is over 2t / ha d.s. compared to the variant that did not receive this macro element. Also, a modest fertilization with nitrogen of N75-100 applied on an organic material, the harvest increase becomes considerable
RESEARCH ON THE OPTIMAL FERTILIZATION SYSTEM FOR THE LUCERNE CULTURE IN MIXTURE WITH PERENNIAL FOREST GRAMINES IN THE OLTENIEI AREA
Organic and mineral fertilization of temporary grasslands is one of the essential measures for obtaining increased feed and lucerne crops.(Bărbulescu, C. s.a. 1972;1991; Moga I. s.a. 1993; Cotigă C,2010;2012). By applying 30 t/ha of manure, in conjunction with a modest dose of nitrogen, in the temporary grasslands, the botanical composition is maintained in a good balance
Discrete vs. Discretized Growth Discretized Fabrication of Geometries Generated with Cellular Growth Simulations
Discrete computational growth simulations, such as Cellular Automata of Diffusion Limited Aggregation, appear often to be difficult to use for architectural design as their geometric outcomes tend to be difficult to control. On the contrary, free-form growth simulations such as Differential Growth or cell-based growth algorithms produce highly complex geometries that are difficult to construct at a larger scale. We, therefore, propose a methodology of discretized free-form Cellular Growth algorithms in order to utilize the emerging qualities of growth simulations for a feasible architectural design. The methodology has been tested within the framework of a workshop and resulted in the efficient construction of a large physical prototype
On the geometry of Siegel-Jacobi domains
We study the holomorphic unitary representations of the Jacobi group based on
Siegel-Jacobi domains. Explicit polynomial orthonormal bases of the Fock spaces
based on the Siegel-Jacobi disk are obtained. The scalar holomorphic discrete
series of the Jacobi group for the Siegel-Jacobi disk is constructed and
polynomial orthonormal bases of the representation spaces are given.Comment: 15 pages, Latex, AMS fonts, paper presented at the the International
