    An integrated customer care (ICC) system aims to provide a single point of contact to the customer for all issues surrounding a service or a product (an offer). For example, the customer care system could provide a single point of contact for all phases of a service starting from ordering and provisioning to billing and maintenance. The single point of contact should be maintained even when the offer is put together using services and products provided by multiple providers. The providers could belong to different parts of the same company or could be outside companies. Note that an individual provider may not have a customer care system, and it is the responsibility of the ICC system to put together various systems from each provider to get a single point of contact for the customer. A first step in providing a single point of contact for the customer is to allow a customer service agent (CSA) to access the various provider databases or systems from his or her workstation.
