Proyecto de ejecución de las instalaciones necesarias para la puesta en marcha de un centro de proceso de datos (CPD)

Este proyecto supone la descripción de los trabajos de ejecución y valoración de todos aquellos elementos necesarios y previamente definidos en el Pliego de Prescripciones Técnicas por la Propiedad, para la adecuación del centro de proceso de datos (CPD) que albergará los sistemas informáticos con todas las garantías de seguridad, y en base a las normativas existentes y cumpliendo con los requisitos establecidos para este tipo de proyectos. En el primer punto del Proyecto se definirá el concepto de CPD así como los requisitos y necesidades que debe cumplir el recinto según la clasificación TIER dada por el Uptime Institute. En los puntos 2 al 4 se describirá en detalle el objeto del Proyecto, la normativa actual vigente y de aplicación para su ejecución y las características del emplazamiento a adecuar para la ubicación del CPD. A continuación, en el punto 5, se desarrollarán las actuaciones a realizar en el emplazamiento por sistemas así como las características de la totalidad de los equipos a instalar en el centro: Arquitectura Sistema Eléctrico Sistema de Climatización Sistema de Protección Contra Incendios (PCI) Sistema de Seguridad y Control de Accesos Racks y Cableado de Datos Sistema de Supervisión de Alarmas Técnicas En el punto 6 se incluyen los planos correspondientes a las instalaciones anteriormente descritas. Definidos los trabajos a realizar en cada uno de los sistemas y los equipos a instalar, se procederá en el punto 7 a la elaboración y descripción de la planificación de dichos trabajos dentro del plazo solicitado por el Cliente. Se incluye en el punto 8 la valoración económica por partidas según los sistemas que componen el CPD para la ejecución de las instalaciones descritas a lo largo del Proyecto. Finalmente se presentarán los cálculos y diseños realizados como justificación ante las instalaciones llevadas a cabo. Cabe destacar el diseño de los cuadros eléctricos que darán servicio a todo el CPD así como los cálculos realizados para el sistema de climatización tanto de la Sala CPD como de la Sala de Servidores y del sistema de PCI.Ingeniería Industria

Youtube As A Tool To Enhance The Autonomous English Learning In Third Semester Students In A B.A In Foreign Languages In A Private Institution In Rionegro, Antioquia

Debido a la globalización, muchos tipos de aplicaciones y sitios web han sido desarrollados permitiendo la interacción mundial, las puertas del conocimiento fueron abiertas para compartir con la población entera todo tipo de contenido relacionado con sus costumbres y lenguaje, hoy en día las personas tienen más oportunidad para aprender acerca de diferentes regiones del mundo, Youtube como la principal plataforma para compartir videos la cual fue tomada para llevar a cabo esta investigación. Youtube reveló que a pesar de ser una plataforma usada principalmente para escuchar música y para el tiempo de ocio, también es una herramienta que permite a las personas educarse a ellas mismas en temas como lenguas extranjeras a través de contenido educativo para todas las edades. La metodología implementada para este proyecto investigativo fue sistematización de experiencias, ya que a través de esta herramienta fue posible obtener información válida y precisa sobre las experiencias y percepciones de los estudiantes a través del uso de YouTube como una herramienta para el fortalecimiento del aprendizaje autónomo del inglés. Los instrumentos que fueron aplicados para recopilar la información acerca de las experiencias de los estudiantes, permitió identificar que los estudiantes del tercer semestre de la licenciatura en lenguas extranjeras ha estado interactuando con esta plataforma para crear su propio contexto de práctica de la lengua. Mediante la entrevista, el cuestionario y la encuesta fue posible identificar que esta plataforma es principalmente usada para clarificar dudas acerca de diversos temas del lenguaje y YouTube a través de su gran cantidad de contenido recopilado de todo el mundo, ha proporcionando un fácil acceso y la capacidad de mejorar las habilidades del lenguaje.Due to globalization, many types of applications and websites have been developed allowing the worldwide interaction, the doors of knowledge were opened to share with the entire population all kind of content related to their customs and language, nowadays people have more opportunities to learn about the different regions of the world and YouTube as the main video-sharing platform was taken to carry out this study. YouTube platform, revealed that despite being a web page used primarily to listen to music and leisure time, it is also a tool that allows people to educate themselves in topics like foreign languages ​​through and educational content for all ages. The methodology implemented for this research project was systematization of experiences, since through this tool it was possible to get valid and accurate information about the students`, experiences and perceptions through the use of YouTube as a tool to enhance the autonomous English learning. The instruments that were applied to gather information about the students experiences, allowed identifying that the students in the third semester of the degree in foreign languages, have been gradually interacting with this platform to create their own language practice context. By means of the interview, questionnaire and survey, it was possible to identify that this platform is mostly used to clarify doubts about diverse language topics and YouTube through its large amount of content collected throughout the world, provides easy access and the ability to improve the language skills

Game to Learn Project: Game-Based Learning to Strengther Logical-Mathematical, Naturalist and Linguistic Intelligences in Primary School

Se evalúa el impacto del Proyecto Game to Learn, implantado en 12 aulas de escuelas de Valencia (España) con alumnos de primaria (N=119), orientado a potenciar las inteligencias lógico-matemática, naturalista y lingüística adoptando la metodología del Aprendizaje Basado en Juegos, utilizando serious games y juegos digitales educativos. Para ello, los docentes registraron el nivel de cada inteligencia del alumnado, antes y después de participar en el proyecto, con un instrumento cualitativo de 30 indicadores. Tras aplicar los estadísticos descriptivos, correlaciones bivariadas y ANOVA, los resultados evidencian un incremento significativo en las tres inteligencias presentadas por los sujetos al concluir el estudio.This research evaluates the impact of the Game to Learn Project implemented in 12 school classrooms of Valencia (Spain) with primary education students (N=119) aimed at to promote the logical-mathematical, naturalistic and linguistic intelligences adopted Game-based Learning (GBL) methodology, using serious games and educational digital games. To do this, teachers registered the intelligence level of each student before and after participating in the project with a qualitative instrument of 30 indicators. CO2 and CH4 emissions are the two most significant greenhouse gas emissions in Spain. The current study analyzed the influence of a city urban plume over the final CO2 and CH4 mixing ratio values recorded at the Low Atmosphere Research Centre (CIB station), in the North of Spain. The measuring campaign lasted five and a half years, from 15 October 2010. CO2 and CH4 transport was analyzed through mixing ratio data obtained with a Picarro G1301 analyzer, which is based on cavity ring-down spectroscopy. Wind direction data were obtained at 2-m height. 16-wind direction sectors were considered. CO2 and CH4 detrended mixing ratios above the 90th percentiles were then calculated for each wind sector. Greater values in the southern sectors highlighted the influence of the nearby city of Valladolid, located approximately 24 km southeast. Faster growth in the southern sectors was found, since around 2.51 ppm year-1 (CO2) and 9.33 ppb year-1 (CH4) were obtained compared to 2.36 ppm year-1 (CO2) and 9.03 ppb year-1 (CH4) for the remaining sectors. Finally, 96-h backward air trajectories prior to reaching the CIB station were obtained with the METEX model at 500-m height a.g.l. Results showed a prevailing Atlantic origin of the masses, which finally impacted on the southern sectors, dragging pollutants from this area. Trend Assessment for a CO2 and CH4 Data Series in Northern Spain

The main objective of this paper is to implement different methods to assess the salient features of the data trend for a CO2 and CH4 data series. Said series was obtained at the Low Atmosphere Research Centre (41°48′49″ N, 4°55′59″ W) using a Picarro analyser (G1301). Different functions were employed to determine and quantify the data trend. The first was a harmonic function based on a third-degree polynomial. An increasing trend, below 2.30 ppm year−1 for CO2 and below 11.90 ppb year−1 for CH4, was reported. Epanechnikov, Gaussian, biweight, tricubic, rectangular and triangle kernels, were applied with a 500-day bandwidth for the trend. The best fit was obtained by the biweight kernel (r > 0.20), with an increasing trend around 1.80 ppm year−1 for CO2 and around 7.15 ppb year−1 for CH4. The final analysis, which included local linear regression functions also applying a 500-day bandwidth, revealed increasing trends for both CO2, around 1.98 ppm year−1, and CH4, around 10.85 ppb year−1. Trend values were far more accelerated in the latter years of the series, regardless of the chosen function. Relatos de Felicidad

Pensar el aula como espacio de vida implica facilitar la emergencia de los modos, los trayectos y los contenidos del bienestar y de las compensaciones valiosas para los sujetos estudiantes. En tal sentido, los relatos de felicidad de los niños actualizan dicho valor y permiten que el aula trascienda desde una referencia geofísica hacia un ámbito que facilita generar sentido de sí mismo como potenciador y facilitador de la interpretación de su lugar en el mundo. En el presente artículo se exponen los principales resultados de la investigación realizada con estudiantes de segundo grado de una institución de educación primaria de Colombia. El trabajo pretendió comprender las experiencias de felicidad de los niños a partir de sus relatos y las implicaciones derivadas para la vida del aula. Como resultados destacados se encuentra en los relatos la escasa presencia de los aprendizajes académicos como parte de la felicidad de los niños y el énfasis puesto en la felicidad como experiencia de relaciones interpersonales y de compartir e intercambiar presentes

Análisis estratégico para una empresa del subsector comercio: Transmarinas Ltda.

El artículo de reflexión está basado en un trabajo de investigación de tesis de maestría, donde plantean la formulación del direccionamiento estratégico para una empresa del subsector comercio en este caso la empresa llamada transmarinas Ltda., Esta empresa se encuentra ubicada en la cuidad, Santiago de Cali, empresa que se dedica a la actividad de la distribución de maquinaria y equipos de aplicación naval, industrial y agrícola, como también la prestación de servicios de mantenimiento preventivo, predictivo y correctivo de motores de combustión interno y transmisores marinas. El trabajo contextualizado se ubica en el tipo de una investigación descriptiva, con una perspectiva cualitativa, uniendo los métodos inductivos y de análisis. Los datos obtenidos en ese trabajo fueron obtenidos por medio de herramientas como la observación directa no participante, reuniones y un cuestionario de entrevista semiestructurada. En la cual se tuvo en cuenta para la elaboración de la propuesta y el cumplimiento de los objetivos planteados de esta manera fueron analizados los referentes teóricos sobre el tema de estudio. El análisis de este trabajo permitirá tener un panorama más amplio y objetivo que posibilite analizar las nuevas estrategias, a partir de instrumentos existentes, logrando evidenciar como las empresas y los stakeholders obtienen beneficios para ellas, así como también un beneficio personal en los procesos de aprendizaje e interiorización del saber. El modelo guía que se utilizó en el trabajo analizado fue la combinación de los planteados por Goodstein et al (1998) y David (2003), además de las herramientas sugeridas por Porter (1991). Influence of air parcel trajectories on CO2 and CH4 concentrations in the northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula

This study presents a simpler procedure for grouping air parcel back trajectories than others previously applied. Two-day air parcel back trajectories reaching an unpolluted site in the centre of the northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula were calculated over a three-year period using the METEX model. A procedure based on the kernel density calculation was applied to the direction of each trajectory centroid to determine groups of trajectories. This method is much faster than the cluster procedure when it comes to retaining the directional details of groups. Seasonal analysis of six groups of trajectories revealed that the Atlantic origin prevailed against displacement from northern Europe. Moreover, Mediterranean and particularly African trajectories were infrequent, probably due to the rough peninsular orography in these directions. The location of air trajectories reaching the study site was described using a surface classification below the air parcels with improved spatial resolution compared to previous analyses. Local contribution was very marked, particularly in summer. Mean trajectories were calculated for each group together with meteorological features and CO2 and CH4 concentrations. Groups may be identified by their mean temperature, wind speed, elevation and distance values. However, only two groups should be considered when analysing the two trace gases, one for trajectories from the Atlantic Ocean and the second for trajectories from the continent. Contrasts of about 4 ppm for CO2 in summer and 0.023 ppm for CH4 in winter were observed, revealing that air trajectories from the Atlantic Ocean were cleaner than those arriving from the continent. Key points in air pollution meteorology

Producción CientíficaAlthough emissions have a direct impact on air pollution, meteorological processes may influence inmission concentration, with the only way to control air pollution being through the rates emitted. This paper presents the close relationship between air pollution and meteorology following the scales of atmospheric motion. In macroscale, this review focuses on the synoptic pattern, since certain weather types are related to pollution episodes, with the determination of these weather types being the key point of these studies. The contrasting contribution of cold fronts is also presented, whilst mathematical models are seen to increase the analysis possibilities of pollution transport. In mesoscale, land–sea and mountain–valley breezes may reinforce certain pollution episodes, and recirculation processes are sometimes favoured by orographic features. The urban heat island is also considered, since the formation of mesovortices determines the entry of pollutants into the city. At the microscale, the influence of the boundary layer height and its evolution are evaluated; in particular, the contribution of the low-level jet to pollutant transport and dispersion. Local meteorological variables have a major influence on calculations with the Gaussian plume model, whilst some eddies are features exclusive to urban environments. Finally, the impact of air pollution on meteorology is briefly commented on.Junta de Castilla y León (Projecto VA027G19
