Notas sobre notas : el Diario filosófico de Hannah Arendt

El principal objetivo de estas notas es señalar los rasgos más relevantes que caracterizan la forma y el contenido de los cuadernos de apuntes filosófico-políticos que Hannah Arendt redactó entre 1950 y 1973. Al mismo tiempo, se pretende indagar en el significado de su gesto al inaugurar esta serie de apuntes sobre el fondo de su biografía intelectual.The main objective of these notes is to highlight the most outstanding features of both the form and the content of the philosophical-political notebooks written by Hannah Arendt from 1950 until 1973. At the same time, against the background of her intellectual biography, I will try to enquire the meaning of her decision of starting to write such a new series of annotations

Ethanol as a Fuel Additive: High-Pressure Oxidation of Its Mixtures with Acetylene

An experimental and modeling study of the oxidation of acetylene-ethanol mixtures under high-pressure conditions (10-40 bar) has been carried out in the 575-1075 K temperature range in a plug-flow reactor. The influence on the oxidation process of the oxygen inlet concentration (determined by the air excess ratio, λ) and the amount of ethanol (0-200 ppm) present in the reactant mixture has also been evaluated. In general, the predictions obtained with the proposed model are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data. For a given pressure, the onset temperature for acetylene conversion is almost the same independent of the oxygen or ethanol concentration in the reactant mixture but is shifted to lower temperatures when the pressure is increased. Under the conditions of this study, the ethanol presence does not modify the main reaction routes for acetylene conversion, with its main effect being the modification of the radical pool composition

Se ha evaluado el comportamiento del etanol como aditivo a través del estudio experimental y de modelado cinético de la oxidación a alta presión (10 y 40 bar) de sus mezclas con acetileno para diferentes condiciones de temperatura, relaciones aire/combustible y cantidades de etanol añadidas a la mezcla reaccionante

El principal objetivo de este ensayo es analizar comparativamente el papel estratégico que juega el concepto de imaginación en los pensamientos de Iris Murdoch, Simone Weil y Hannah Arendt. Con ello no sólo se pretende contribuir a la interpretación de uno de los temas menos explorados de sus respectivas obras, sino que se intenta poner a la luz el vínculo esencial que la imaginación mantiene con un núcleo común que anima sus pensamientos y que caracteriza la tradición oculta del pensamiento femenino de la que forman parte: la lucha contra la irrealidad
