Deve-se entender de que modo Aristóteles considera a possibilidade,dentro da estrutura da linguagem, de um acordo entre as afecções dadas na alma e as coisas deque essas afecções são semelhanças

Introdução às noções de essência, necessidade e predicação em Aristóteles

O presente trabalho trata-se de uma breve introdução que tem por escopo a relação que se estabelece em Gama 4 entre as noções de essência e necessidade diante da teoria da predicação apresentada ali por Aristóteles. Uma vez que entendemos que a noção de linguagem presente em Aristóteles possui um forte vínculo com sua ontologia, sendo estruturada a partir de uma distinção fundamental entre tipos de predicados e tipos de predicação, e que essa distinção implica a validade do princípio da não-contradição. Cabe entender qual é o fundamento ontológico que concede a essa distinção sua efetividade ao descrever o mundo das coisas entre aquilo que é essencial e necessário e aquilo que é apenas concomitante

Aquisições públicas sustentáveis: o princípio da sustentabilidade encarado para além da questão ambiental

Th e main purpose of this article is to analyze if the diff erentiated and preferential treatment that must be applied to the microenterprise and the small businesses in public procurement can be considered a viable mean to promote the paradigm of sustainability in its social and economical terms. Both in the investigation stage as in writing this article the method used was the deductive. We started by analyzing the literature relevant to the subject for further formulation of the conclusion of this research. Th e article aims to demonstrate that the paradigm of sustainability in the public procurement does not stay restricted to the environmental issue, being pluridimensional (social, ethical, legal and political, economical and environmental), i.e, sustainability transcends the realm of the merely environmental and is interlinked with other areas in a holistic way in order to achieve a state of homeostasis. Doctrinal positions pro and against these arguments will be presented, but the conclusion of this article is in favor of the viability of the diff erentiated treatment at the actual Brazilian scenario. Despite the existence of laws both in the USA and in some European countries that treat this subject, in Brazil the legislation is new and there are just a few scientifi c works ho studies the issue of sustainability by the social and economic focuses. Th e relevance of this article is to fi ll this gap and to promote this nascent issue in the brazilian scientific community.Atualmente tanto a legislação como parte da doutrina defende que o princípio da sustentabilidade nas aquisições públicas não fica restrito somente à questão ambiental, sendo ele pluridimensional (social, ético, jurídico-político, econômico e ambiental), ou seja, a sustentabilidade transcende a esfera do meramente ambiental e articula-se com outras áreas numa perspectiva holística com o intuito de atingir um estado de homeostáse. O objetivo do presente artigo é analisar se o tratamento diferenciado e favorecido deferido às microempresas e às empresas de pequeno porte nas aquisições públicas pode ser considerado com meio hábil para fomentar o paradigma da sustentabilidade nas suas vertentes social e econômica. Na elaboração deste trabalho, tanto na fase de investigação, quanto na elaboração do relatório o método utilizado foi o dedutivo. Partiu-se de uma análise geral da bibliografia pertinente ao assunto para posterior formulação das conclusões ao final da pesquisa

Fish consumption in Brazil: State of the art and effects of the COVID-19 pandemic

The offer and consumption of fish and other aquatic organisms in Brazil comprise a great complexity of inter-acting factors, from the origin and production of these goods, to their processing and marketing. Unexpected factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic might contribute for increasing the complexity of such interactions and shift consumption patterns. This study aimed at characterizing the consumption of fish in the Brazilian territory, identifying factors that influence such consumption and investigating how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the country's consumption pattern. A closed and semi-structured questionnaire was applied and gathered responses from 1763 Brazilian participants from all the country's macro-regions, regarding fish consumption and factors affecting it. Data were presented descriptively and analyzed by means of a multivariate approach. Three patterns of fish meat consumption were identified in the study. Northern participants consume this foodstuff in recom-mended amounts by dietary guidelines in higher proportions than other regions. In general, during the pandemic most respondents did not change their fish consumption (59.7%) and declared that no risks were associated with consuming this foodstuff (65.6%). It was found that the origin of fish is a major driver of consumption, whereas from 49.2% (Southeast and Midwest) to 58.2% (North) of the population would increase their consumption in case the origin of the foodstuff was declared. Fish consumption in Brazil is influenced by multiple factors and it can be stimulated by exploring differences existing among the territory's macro-regions
