    Cet article propose une rĂ©flexion autour du concept de modernitĂ© tel qu’il est forgĂ© et divulguĂ© dans l’entre-deux-guerres par certains des plus importants chefs de file de l’intelligentsia et de l’art avant-gardiste italien tels que Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, Antonio Gramsci, ainsi que le jeune Ă©crivain Cesare Pavese.     The solvent driven aggregation of porphyrin derivatives, covalently linked to a L- or D-prolinate enantiomer, results in the stereospecific formation of species featuring remarkable supramolecular chirality, as a consequence of reading and amplification of the stereochemical information stored in the proline-appended group. Spectroscopic, kinetic, and topographic SEM studies gave important information on the aggregation processes, and on the structures of the final chiral architectures. The results obtained may be the seeds for the construction of stereoselective sensors aiming at the detection, for example, of novel emergent pollutants from agrochemical, food, and pharmaceutical industry

    Cette contribution pose une interrogation nouvelle sur la source la plus probante d’une influence littĂ©raire et philosophique dans la construction de la poĂ©tique de l’enfance chez Pavese. Dans cette perspective, l’étude propose une analyse inĂ©dite de l’un des topoi les plus parcourus par la critique pavĂ©sienne, Ă  travers l’étude comparĂ©e avec la pensĂ©e de Nietzsche. Le philosophe de BĂąle eut une place capitale dans la biographie intellectuelle de Pavese, bien que cette filiation n’ait pas suscitĂ© l’intĂ©rĂȘt de la littĂ©rature critique pour des raisons Ă  la fois factuelles et idĂ©ologiques. Cette influence s’avĂšre extrĂȘmement fructueuse, car elle permet Ă  l’écrivain turinois de construire son Ă©chafaudage thĂ©orique, notamment dans le cadre de sa philosophie esthĂ©tique, et de procĂ©der Ă  l’achĂšvement de sa thĂ©orie du langage poĂ©tique et de sa propre mythopoĂŻĂšse

    Notre thĂšse est une investigation destinĂ©e Ă  repĂ©rer les traces de la lecture assidue de Nietzsche dans la constitution du parcours thĂ©orique et existentiel de Cesare Pavese. Notre recherche se dĂ©veloppe Ă  partir d’une question prĂ©alable : la lecture et la traduction de l’un des ouvrage phare du national-socialisme et du fascisme italien, Der Wille zur Macht, par l’une des jeunes pousses de la gĂ©nĂ©ration antifasciste comme Pavese, seraient-elles les facettes d’un seul prisme appelĂ© “europĂ©isme” ? En effet, aborder la problĂ©matique de l’influence du philosophe allemand sur l’un des Ă©crivains majeurs du XXe siĂšcle semblerait porter atteinte Ă  l’image Ă©dulcorĂ©e qu’une partie de la littĂ©rature critique a dessinĂ©e autour du concept de militantisme culturel turinois. Face Ă  la dĂ©couverte des traductions de l’allemand rĂ©alisĂ©es par Pavese au tournant des annĂ©es ’40-’45, il serait concevable de dessiner une courbe allant d’une forme de rejet officiel Ă  l’égard de l’auteur de Der Wille zur Macht Ă  une forme d’inavouable filiation.Entre l’interprĂ©tation historique du militantisme culturel turinois et la vision donnĂ©e de l’intĂ©rieur par l’un de ses plus insignes reprĂ©sentants, cette thĂšse se propose de mieux cerner une page encore peu connue de l’histoire culturelle italienne, notamment concernant la rĂ©ception de Nietzsche. Les notions mĂȘmes de militantisme culturel et d’europĂ©isme pourront ĂȘtre nuancĂ©es et mieux Ă©clairĂ©es grĂące Ă  l’analyse approfondie de sources d’archives inĂ©dites n’ayant pas encore fait l’objet d’une exploitation systĂ©matique.Our thesis is an investigation intending to spot the traces of the reading of Nietzsche on the constitution of Cesare Pavese’s theoretical and existential path.This research develops from a preliminary question : for a young representative of anti-fascist generation, as Cesare Pavese was, to read and to translate Der Willezur Macht, one of the main nazi-fascist work, could be the facets of a same prismcalled «europeanism» ? Indeed, to approach the problematics of the nietzscheaninfluence on one of the 20th Century most relevant writers could hurt the embellished image that a large part of literary critic has drawn around theTurineses cultural militancy concept. Faced with the discovery of translations from German made by Pavese in the turning years 1940-1945, it would be conceivable to draw a sort of curve concerning Der Wille zur Macht, going from the official refusal to the unavowable filiation. Between historical interpretation of Turineses cultural militancy and a view from the inside given by one of its distinguished representatives, this thesis intends better discern a still remaining obscure page of Italian cultural history, especially in relation with the reception of Nietzsche. Even the notion of cultural militancy and Europeanism will be better nuanced and enlightened by the deep analyse of unpublished sources from systematically unexploited archive

    This contribution is offering a temporary analysis of the people and nation concept as it was designed at a specific time of the 20th century by one of the most emblematic and controversial intellectuals of the cultural history of modern Italy. Cesare Pavese was a left-wing writer that many studies have criticized for a long time as a cultural antifascist militant who was very much involved during and after the end of the Mussolinian regime.However, his reputation has been damaged by the publishing of a posthumous secret book-note expressing many thoughts of political philosophy. These assertions were considered as obviously philo-fascist and brought about a debate among the specialists and the people in general. Pavese’s sense and value of those meditations can been perfectly understood and explained through his way of translating and how he was able to master Nietzsche’s works between 1940 and 1945

    Effect of polyfluorination on self-Assembling and electronic properties of thioalkyl-porphyrazines

    The novel polyfluorinated thioalkyl-porfirazine 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octakis(1,1,1,2,2,-3,3,4,4-nonafluorohexylthio)-5,10,15,20-21H,23H-porfirazine was synthesized to investigate the fluorine effect on self-Aggregation, electrochemical, and spectral properties of this class of tetrapyrrole macrocycles. This compound showed an ordered and quite thermally stable columnar discotic mesophase, never seen in non-fluorinated symmetrically substituted "free-base" thioalkyl-porphyrazines, revealing a significant effect of fluorine on molecular self-Assembling properties. An important effect of fluorination was also observed on the spectral and electrochemical properties of the molecule, giving rise to a hypsochromic shift in the 400-700 nm range of UV-vis absorption spectrum and to a marked cathodic shift of the reduction potentials in respect to the non-fluorinated analogs. DFT and TDDFT calculations has been undertaken to elucidate the origin of the observed behavior. Interestingly, HOMO, LUMO, and band-gap values together with its mesomorphic properties make this compound a promising material for organic photovoltaics

    Il trauma di Caporetto : Storia, letteratura e arti

    La battaglia di Caporetto (24 ottobre - 9 novembre 1917) ha rappresentato un trauma nella storia italiana del Novecento. Ancor oggi, nel linguaggio comune, la parola Caporetto ù sinonimo di disastro. In quella battaglia i soldati della 2a Armata vengono respinti dagli austriaci e dai tedeschi al di qua dell'Isonzo e del Tagliamento fino al Piave, mentre i Comandi militari li accusano di diserzione e tradimento. Cento anni dopo, questo volume affronta, in un'ottica pluridisciplinare e interdisciplinare, e alla luce della nozione di “trauma”, gli aspetti storici, politici e militari della disfatta. Esso fa largo spazio anche alle testimonianze dei soldati-scrittori la cui esperienza di quei giorni acquista senso se inserita in una dimensione collettiva e storica. Le stratificazioni temporali - relative tanto alla lettura storiografica, militare e politica quanto agli scritti memoriali e letterari - costituiscono un fattore importante per la riappropriazione di un evento che tocca la storia e l'identità italiane. Nel processo di rievocazione del trauma, la rappresentazione dello choc subìto tiene conto sia dell'immediatezza del vissuto che della simbolizzazione retrospettiva. Questo volume intende allora studiare i meccanismi attraverso i quali il ricordo del trauma di Caporetto prende forma nel linguaggio autobiografico o finzionale inteso anche come espressione terapeutica e luogo della resilienza
