Wasa Teater - "ett avbrott i vardagen" : En kundundersökning om Wasa Teater

Wasa Teater är Österbottens regionteater och bedriver professionell teaterverksamhet sedan grundandet 1919. I detta arbete undersöks olika typer av teaterbesökare om deras vanor att besöka Wasa Teater och hur de upplever teaterns verksamhet idag. Arbetet är uppbyggt av tre olika delar, inledningen, en teoretisk del och en empirisk del. I inledningen ges en kort överblick över Wasa Teater, dess historia och ekonomi. I den teoretiska delen presenteras teorier kring konsumentbeteende, relationsmarknadsföring och marknadsföring av tjänster. Den empiriska delen genomfördes kvalitativt med 14 intervjuer. Från undersökningsresultaten kan konstateras att österbottningarna tycker om sin regionteater och att dess teaterverksamhet håller god kvalitet. Hur ofta man besöker teatern varierar, men man har nog koll på vad som spelas på teatern. Ofta är det livet i stort som begränsar ett besök till Wasa Teater, men avstånden är också stora inom teaterns verksamhetsregion. Man betalar gärna för sitt besök till teatern, har man bestämt sig för att göra ett besök till Wasa Teater så spelar inte biljettpriset så stor roll. När man hör Wasa Teater associerar man något positivt, teater av hög kvalitet och att det är vår teater. This thesis examines different kind of theatre visitors, their theatre habits and how they feel about Wasa Teater today. The thesis is divided into three different parts, an introduction, a theoretical part and an empirical part. The introduction shortly presents Wasa Teaters history and financial situation. The theoretical part presents theories about consumer behaviour, customer relationship management and service marketing. The empirical part consists of a qualitative study in which 14 interviews were included. From the results can be read that the Ostrobothnians like their theatre and its operation and that it is done with a high quality. There is a difference in how often the audience visits the theatre, but they do know about the theatres operations. Often it is life and family that determines whether one can visit the theatre. For many people the long trip is difficult. The visitors are ready to pay for the tickets, and the price is not very important. When you hear Wasa Teater you think about something positive, high quality theatre and that it is our theatre. Wasa Teater is the Ostrobothnians´ theatre
