The Godel metric in the Chern-Simons modified gravity
We discuss the consistency of the Godel metric within the Chern-Simons
modified gravity, both for external and dynamical Chern-Simons coefficients.Comment: 6 pages; to be published in the Proceedings of 5th International

Relativistic Bose-Einstein condensate in the rainbow gravity
In this paper, we study the effects of a modified theory of gravity - the
rainbow gravity - on the relativistic Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC). We
initially discuss some formal aspects of the model in order to compute the
corrections to the relevant quantities of the condensate. Following, we
evaluate the generating functional from which obtain some thermodynamic
parameters. Then we calculate the corrected critical temperature that
sets the relativistic Bose-Einstein condensate considering the three principal
rainbow functions, finding, in addition, a phenomenological upper bound for the
parameters involved in the model. Finally, we discuss how harder is for the
particles at an arbitrary temperature to enter the condensed state
compared to the usual scenario, {\it i.e.}, without rainbow gravity.Comment: 13 pages, 2 figure, matches version accepted in EP

Development of a first-contact protocol to guide assessment of adult patients in rehabilitation services networks
OBJECTIVE: This paper describes the development of the Protocol for Identification of Problems for Rehabilitation (PLPR), a tool to standardize collection of functional information based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROTOCOL: The PLPR was developed for use during the initial contact with adult patients within a public network of rehabilitation services. Steps to develop the protocol included: survey of the ICF codes most used by clinical professionals; compilation of data from functional instruments; development and pilot testing of a preliminary version in the service settings; discussion with professionals and development of the final version. The final version includes: user identification; social and health information; brief functional description (BFD); summary of the BFD; and PLPR results. Further testing of the final version will be conducted. CONCLUSIONS: The protocol standardizes the first contact between the user and the rehabilitation service. Systematic use of the protocol could also help to create a functional database that would allow comparisons between rehabilitation services and countries over time
Predictors of hotel clients’ satisfaction in the Cape Verde Islands
Tourism has been fundamental for countries’ economic development, and Africa is the
destination with the biggest tourism growth potential. Using 1414 travelers’ online reviews collected
from TripAdvisor, the present work aims to understand which variables predict the satisfaction of
Cape Verde’s hotel clients. Satisfaction was analyzed using sentiment analysis and ANOVA to predict
the effect of the gathered variables on clients’ satisfaction. Results indicate that 90% of the clients
revealed positive satisfaction and that nationality, date of stay, and previous traveler experiences
affect satisfaction. Contrarily to our predictions, there is no statistically significant evidence that
gender influences satisfaction. The findings of this study will help hotel marketing managers to align
their strategies accordingly and meet their clients’ expectations.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
