Student Acceptance of Blended Learning In Nigeria
This study explains the factors that influence the acceptance of blended learning and the level of
acceptance of the features of blended learning by undergraduate students in Landmark University.
Questionnaires were used as the data collection instrument and the acceptance of blended learning was
tested using UTAUT model. Data was analyzed using SPSS .Frequencies; Principal Component Analysis
and Regression Analysis were used in analysis. The study found that Performance expectance and
Facilitating conditions significantly influenced the acceptance of blended learning. In understanding the
acceptance of blended learning features, the student’s shows more interest in course-related readings
and course materials available on the learning management system and less interest on discussion with
lecturers and discussion with classmates. Performance expectancy was a major determinant on the
acceptance of blended learning by students. It was also discovered that there is no relationship between
the learning style of students and intention to adopt blended learning. This study has implications for
university administrators on the importance of academic improvement and supporting features in the
introduction of blended learning in educational institutions
Dynamic links between the Nigerian equity market and those of selected regional and developed countries
The dynamic and growing interdependent nature of equity markets across the world has elicited the interest of
investors and researchers alike. This study examines the dynamic interactions between the Nigerian stock market
and selected regional and global equity markets spanning eight years, from 2011 to 2018, using daily index data.
The generalised impulse response function was used alongside the Toda and Yamamoto Granger causality test to
investigate the short-run dynamic linkages, while the normalized Johansen vector error correction estimates
served to assess the long-run linkages given the existence of cointegration. Findings from the study revealed that
the UK and the Ghanaian stock markets exert significant long-run impact on the Nigerian stock market, while
vagaries from the US tend to exert more influence on the Nigerian stock market in the short-run. The study
recommends that more regional efforts are needed to enhance the integration of stock markets in West Africa. The
findings have implications for national and regional policymakers as well as portfolio investors
Information Provision by Public Library to Agricultural Extension Agents in a Developing Country
One of the bedrock of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
is eradication of poverty and hunger. In an attempt to actualize
this goal, the role of public libraries in information provision to
agricultural extension agents in Nigeria becomes paramount.
This paper discusses provision of information to agricultural
extension agents in a developing country. It starts with the
concept of extension agents and the essence of information
provision to them. It further discusses types, sources and challenges
of public libraries in information provision to agricultural
extension workers in a developing country. Some of the
challenges are as follows: poor funding of public libraries,
demotivated staff, and so on. Based on these discussions, the
paper recommended adequate training and retraining of staff,
adequate funding of public libraries by the federal, state and
local government, the revitalization of the abandoned mobile
library services among others. The paper therefore concludes
that information provision to agricultural extension agents by
public library is very crucial for national development. The
current state of poverty, hunger and lack in Nigeria and some
other African countries could be reduced to a great extent if
current, relevant and up-to-date information are provided by
libraries to the concerned agencies
What do Agricultural and Biological Science Students Use? A Bibliometric Analysis of Undergraduate Research Projects
The study investigate the citation pattern of undergraduate projects in a private university,
Nigeria. Bibliometric method was adopted for the study to analyze the information sources
cited in the research projects. The coverage of the study was from 2015 to 2018 set of
graduates. Findings revealed that Animal Science programme accounted for the highest
citations, while Agricultural Economics had the lowest citations. It was also discovered that
an average of 49 citations per project were recorded. Journal articles and books were the
most cited materials. The paper concluded and made recommendations
User Centered Libraries: The Role of Library 2.0 tools
Abstract:
Purpose: This study investigated the extent of Library 2.0 tools in Africa by a review of literature
Design/Methodology/Approach: A review of literature was carried out on the adoption of Library 2.0
technologies in Africa, challenges currently facing the continent and also proffered solutions to those
challenges.
Findings: Library 2.0 services in Africa are still in its infancy, though some universities especially South\ud
African universities have taken the front stage in its implementation. However, challenges such as lack of
a clear policy to support Library 2.0 , infrastructure and power challenges still limit the adoption of
these technologies in African countries. There is a need for countries in Africa to adopt smartphones in
carrying out Library 2.0 services due to its proliferation in Africa, improve on specific staffing on
emerging technologies in Libraries, establish a clear policy on the adoption of these technologies and
offer opportunities for adequate training of staff
Implication: This study proffers recommendations on how African countries can adopt Library 2.0 tools
in spite of its current limitations
Originality/Value: Due to the proliferation of smartphones in Africa, there is need for smartphones to be
adopted in carrying out library 2.0 services to limit the digital divide in its adoptio

Awareness, accessibility and use of library resources by faculty members of Landmark University, Nigeria
This study examined awareness, accessibility and use of library resources by faculty member of Landmark University in Nigeria. It is aimed at finding out the level of awareness, accessibility and use of library resources by faculty members. Stratified sampling technique was used to select faculty members from various units within the university. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of 102 academic staff. Frequencies and percentages were used for data analysis. Findings revealed that faculty members of Landmark University were fully aware of the resources the library holds and that the resources were utilized mainly for academic activities. It was also revealed that respondents easily accessed print resources than electronic resources. In addition, resources were underutilized by the faculty members despite their high level of awareness and easy accessibility to the resources available in the library. The study recommended that the library should make its webpage visible as well as carry out user education on a regular basis in order to increase usage of its resources especially the electronic resources. Keywords: awareness, accessibility, use, faculty member, library resource

Student Perception and Acceptance of Computer Based Testing: A Case Study of Landmark University Undergraduate Students
Computer Based Testing has taken its root in several universities in Nigeria and it becomes pertinent
to access the perception of students as critical stakeholders in the education system. Three hundred
questionnaires were distributed, of which 168 were returned and analyzed. Descriptive analysis and
regression analysis were carried out using the Statistical Package for Social Science Software(SPSS).
Result revealed that the acceptance rate of Computer Based Testing by students is high, though
majority of the students were in support of training prior to taking assessments. Also, the acceptance
rate of Physics and Chemistry assessments were relatively low compared to other courses. The study
also reported gender differences in the acceptance of CBT and also discovered that College of Study
determined the acceptance of CBT. This study has implications for university administrators to
ensure that assessments align with the international guidelines for computer testing and also the need
to consider the interface design in Physics and Chemistry assessments
