On 26th January 2006 at de Davos summit of world leaders, Paul Bono Hewson and Bobby Shriver -chairman of DATA (Debt, Aids, Trade, Africa)- made the announcement of the creation of Product Red. This brand of brands is made up of a group of multinational corporations such as AMEX, The Gap, Emporio Armani and Converse, which make and sell Red products with the commitment to donate a percentage of their profits to the Global Fund to fight aids in Africa. Taking into account the first year of existence of the new charitable brand, this article propounds a critical revision of Cause Related Marketing in order to establish the correlation between this advertising practice and the appreciation of a free market economy, the growing mercantilism of social relationships, and the backward step for the public sphere
The aim of this article is to analyse the evolution towards postmodern branding strategies undergone by the NonGovernment Development Organizations (NGDOs) provided with the biggest media impact and largest budget. This tendency has been taking place within the frame of what has become known as social brand dissemination, i.e. the extension and development of contemporary brands, which have stopped being exclusively trade-linked and have acquired a sociocultural communicative dimension. Following a socio-semiotic methodology, brands have been regarded and analysed as constructions of sense based on symbolic systems and narratives
Reaction textures in calc-silicate gneisses from the Tormes gneiss complex: implications for the retrogade P-T-XC02 path
[Abstract] Calc-silicate gneisses from the LowerUnit ofthe Tormes Gneiss Complex,NW Salamanca, exhibit a sequence of reaction textures that have been used to elucidate their retrograde P-T-XC02 path. The highest temperature recorded in the calc-silicates is represented by the wollastonite- and scapolite- (meÃoniterich) bearing assemblages which yield at least 7500 C at 6 kbar based on experimental results. The calc-silicates have partially re-equilibrated at lower
temperatures (down to 4500 C) as evidenced by the successive reactions: (1) .
Wo + Scp + Cal ~ Grt + CO2 ; (2) Wo + CO2~ Cal + Qtz; (3) Scp ~ PI + Cal
+ Qtz; (4) Grt + CO2 + H20 ~ Ep/Clz + Cal + Qtz ±PI; y (5) Cpx + CO2 +
H20 ~ Tr + Cal + Qtz. The cooling down to lower temperatures of4500 C (at
P<3 kbar), in the andalusite stability field, is also suggested by the secondary
andalusite replacement ofprevious fibrolitic sillimanite in adjacent metapelites.
In this paper, mineral devolatilization equilibria are used to constrain the composition ofboth syn- and post-peak-D2 fluids in the deepest exposed levels of the metamorphic complexo The results indicate that during the transitional granulite facies metamorphism, large-scale CO2 advection did not occur

THE QEDUSEN PROJECT; IMPROVING SENIORS’QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH TO EDUCATION
Learning in later life (citizens over 65 or retired) is becoming common. The motivation and interests of the senior citizens to keep learning are mainly personal, they are not job related needs or labour market qualification requirements. These personal aims can be seen from the quality of life (QoL) perspective, where education increases well-being, integration and participation of the elderly in the present society. Institutions dealing with senior learners then face the challenge to provide a socio-educational intervention to senior learners, which has a requirements, needs and motivation different from other adults, and that specific pedagogy, courses and staff qualifications must be considered. From this need the project QEduSen (supported by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission) produced a guide and a evaluation toolki
Web Bot detection using mouse movement
Non-Legitime traffic in terms of automated internet bot traffic is a long-standing problem causing a huge economic impact and lack of trust in companies and administrations worldwide. For years, Artificial Intelligence and especially Machine Learning have been a key players fighting and helping the stakeholder to analyse and detect fraud instances automatically. However, it does not exist a reliable ground truth public dataset to evaluate and compare the proposed methodologies in the literature. Throughout this thesis, it is developed a public dataset consisting of legitimate and fraudulent web mouse movements extracted from real bot engines. In addition, it is evaluated using two Machine Learning models based on Decisions Tree classifier called LightGBM whilst the second one is based on Recurrent Neural Networks outperforming the accuracyEl tráfico no legÃtimo en términos de tráfico automatizado de bots de Internet es un problema que se perpetua durante el tiempo. Tourism and rural depopulation
Treball Final de Grau en Economia. Codi: EC1049. Curs acadèmic: 2020/2021In this work, the evolution of rural tourism is analyzed through some variables such as the
employment or the type of rural accommodation together with the depopulation of the interior
areas of the Valencian Community providing opportunities and difficulties in rural areas. The
analysis was conducted between the years 2010 and 2020. I also glimpse the emptied Spain
and I analyze how the municipalities are distributed depending on the greater or lesser risk
of depopulation in the different provinces of the Community. We will see how the northern
part of the Community is more affected by the lack of population in its villages while
employment and rural tourism in the Valencian territory do not follow the same trend
