A case of intestinal myiasis due to Sarcophaga hemmoroidalis from Chaharmahal va Bakhtiari province
چکیده: این گزارش مربوط به پسر بچه 13 سالهای است که ساکن روستای سید صالح کوتاه از توابع شهرستان کوهرنگ در استان چهارمحال و بختیاری می باشد. بیمار در شرح حال خود دردهای شکمی در قسمت راست تحتانی، احساس پری شکم، دفع مدفوع شل دو تا سه بار در شبانه روز، کاهش اشتها و کاهش وزن در چند ماه گذشته و همچنین مشاهده کرم های کوچک سفید رنگ متحرک را در مدفوع خود بیان می کرد در هنگام آزمایشات اولیه تعدادی لارو متحرک از مدفوع بیمار جدا و در محلول فرمالین 10 نگهداری شد. سپس با استفاده از کلیدهای تشخیصی و مشاهده خصوصیات مرفولوژی لارو سارکوفاگا هموروئیدالیس (Sarcophaga haemorrhoidalis) تشخیص داده شد
Designing of ECAP parameters based on strain distribution uniformity
AbstractEqual Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) is currently one of the most popular methods for fabricating Ultra-Fine Grained (UFG) materials. In this work, ECAP process has been performed on commercial pure aluminum up to 8 passes by route A. After verification of FEM work, the influences of four die channel angles, three outer corner angles and pass number up to 8 have been analyzed to investigate strain distribution behavior of ECAPed material. Two methods for quantifying the strain homogeneity namely inhomogeneity index (Ci) and standard deviation (S.D.) are compared. It is shown that Ci is not a good candidate for examining the strain distribution uniformity. Moreover, it is suggested that designing of ECAP die geometry to achieve optimum strain distribution homogeneity is more suitable than the optimum effective strain magnitude. The best strain distribution uniformity in the transverse plane is obtained with Φ=60° and Ψ=15° and for the bulk of the sample, Φ=120° and Ψ=15° or 60°, gives the highest strain dispersal uniformity
Post-Lie Algebras, Factorization Theorems and Isospectral-Flows
In these notes we review and further explore the Lie enveloping algebra of a
post-Lie algebra. From a Hopf algebra point of view, one of the central
results, which will be recalled in detail, is the existence of a second Hopf
algebra structure. By comparing group-like elements in suitable completions of
these two Hopf algebras, we derive a particular map which we dub post-Lie
Magnus expansion. These results are then considered in the case of
Semenov-Tian-Shansky's double Lie algebra, where a post-Lie algebra is defined
in terms of solutions of modified classical Yang-Baxter equation. In this
context, we prove a factorization theorem for group-like elements. An explicit
exponential solution of the corresponding Lie bracket flow is presented, which

Exponential renormalization
Moving beyond the classical additive and multiplicative approaches, we
present an "exponential" method for perturbative renormalization. Using Dyson's
identity for Green's functions as well as the link between the Faa di Bruno
Hopf algebra and the Hopf algebras of Feynman graphs, its relation to the
composition of formal power series is analyzed. Eventually, we argue that the
new method has several attractive features and encompasses the BPHZ method. The
latter can be seen as a special case of the new procedure for renormalization
scheme maps with the Rota-Baxter property. To our best knowledge, although very
natural from group-theoretical and physical points of view, several ideas
introduced in the present paper seem to be new (besides the exponential method,
let us mention the notions of counterfactors and of order n bare coupling

Indole-3-carbinol suppresses NF-κB activity and stimulates the p53 pathway in pre-B acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells
B cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BCP-ALL) is the most common type of cancer in children. Dramatic improvements in primary therapy for childhood ALL have led to an overall cure rate of 80 , providing opportunities for innovative combined-modality strategies that would increase cure rates while reducing the toxic side effects of current intensive regimens. In this study, we report that indole-3-carbinol (I3C), a natural phytochemical found in cruciferous vegetables, had anti-leukemic properties in BCP-ALL NALM-6 cells. I3C induced cell growth inhibition by G1 cell cycle arrest and triggered apoptosis in a dose- and time-dependent manner. p53, p21, and Bax proteins showed increased expression after I3C treatment. Real-time PCR analysis of pro-apoptotic p53 target genes revealed up-regulation of PUMA, NOXA, and Apaf-1. I3C also suppressed constitutive nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation and inhibited the protein expression of NF-kappa B-regulated antiapoptotic (IAP1, Bcl-xL, Bcl-2, XIAP) and proliferative (c-Myc) gene products. Coadministration of I3C with the topoisomerase II inhibitor, doxorubicin, potentiates cytotoxic effects compared with either agent alone. Apoptosis induction by the drug combination was associated with enhanced caspase-9 activation and PARP cleavage. Furthermore, I3C abolished doxorubicin-induced NF-κB activity as evidenced by decreased nuclear accumulation of p65, inhibition of IκBα phosphorylation and its degradation, and decreased NF-κB DNA-binding activity. Western blot analysis revealed that doxorubicin-induced Bcl-2 protein expression was inhibited by I3C. Overall, our results indicated that using nontoxic agents, such as I3C, in combination with anthracyclines might provide a new insight into the development of novel combination therapies in childhood BCP-ALL. © 2015, International Society of Oncology and BioMarkers (ISOBM)
The electronic structure of the high-symmetry perovskite iridate Ba2IrO4
We report angle-resolved photoemission (ARPES) measurements, density
functional and model tight-binding calculations on BaIrO (Ba-214), an
antiferromagnetic ( K) insulator. Ba-214 does not exhibit the
rotational distortion of the IrO octahedra that is present in its sister
compound SrIrO (Sr-214), and is therefore an attractive reference
material to study the electronic structure of layered iridates. We find that
the band structures of Ba-214 and Sr-214 are qualitatively similar, hinting at
the predominant role of the spin-orbit interaction in these materials.
Temperature-dependent ARPES data show that the energy gap persists well above
, and favour a Mott over a Slater scenario for this compound.Comment: 13 pages, 9 figure
A suggested prototype for assessing bone health
Background- Osteoporosis is becoming a health concern worldwide. Considering the fact that prevention plays an important role in reducing the burden of this silent disease and in view of the limited resources available, many countries have adopted certain programs to fight osteoporosis through shifting their attention towards at-risk individuals. The Iranian Multicenter Osteoporosis Study (IMOS) is one of these programs. The program aims to assess bone health and the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in different parts of Iran with various altitudes, latitudes and lifestyle habits in a way that the results could be generalized to the country. Method- The present article presents the protocol used in the third phase of the study. It was designed based on the experiences gathered in the previous phases to overcome the shortcomings particularly subject loss. The questionnaire applied in this study was developed based on a thorough literature review of the risk factors and secondary causes of osteoporosis and was approved by an expert panel. It should be added that while the majority of the existing studies aim to study a certain aspect of osteoporosis, the present protocol provides the information needed for policy makers and researchers to study different osteoporosis-related issues. Conclusion- The authors believe the protocol, to be implemented with small modifications, can help policymakers in different parts of the world, particularly developing countries, gather accurate information on different aspects of bone health at the national level. © 2015, Academy of Medical Sciences of I.R. An algebraic scheme associated with the noncommutative KP hierarchy and some of its extensions
A well-known ansatz (`trace method') for soliton solutions turns the
equations of the (noncommutative) KP hierarchy, and those of certain
extensions, into families of algebraic sum identities. We develop an algebraic
formalism, in particular involving a (mixable) shuffle product, to explore
their structure. More precisely, we show that the equations of the
noncommutative KP hierarchy and its extension (xncKP) in the case of a
Moyal-deformed product, as derived in previous work, correspond to identities
in this algebra. Furthermore, the Moyal product is replaced by a more general
associative product. This leads to a new even more general extension of the
noncommutative KP hierarchy. Relations with Rota-Baxter algebras are

On CSP and the Algebraic Theory of Effects
We consider CSP from the point of view of the algebraic theory of effects,
which classifies operations as effect constructors or effect deconstructors; it
also provides a link with functional programming, being a refinement of Moggi's
seminal monadic point of view. There is a natural algebraic theory of the
constructors whose free algebra functor is Moggi's monad; we illustrate this by
characterising free and initial algebras in terms of two versions of the stable
failures model of CSP, one more general than the other. Deconstructors are
dealt with as homomorphisms to (possibly non-free) algebras.
One can view CSP's action and choice operators as constructors and the rest,
such as concealment and concurrency, as deconstructors. Carrying this programme
out results in taking deterministic external choice as constructor rather than
general external choice. However, binary deconstructors, such as the CSP
concurrency operator, provide unresolved difficulties. We conclude by
presenting a combination of CSP with Moggi's computational {\lambda}-calculus,
in which the operators, including concurrency, are polymorphic. While the paper
mainly concerns CSP, it ought to be possible to carry over similar ideas to
other process calculi
