Survey of Epizootiologic and Epidemiologic Situation on Brucellosis in the Russian Federation in 2013; Prognosis for 2014

Carried out is the analysis and assessment of epizootiologic and epidemiologic situation on brucellosis in the Russian Federation over the year 2013. It is demonstrated that on the grounds of tense epizootic situation there is a tendency to reduction in brucellosis morbidity rates among the population. Incidence rates in the North-Caucasian and Southern Federal districts remain high due to B. melitensis spp. brucellosis agent circulation. However, realization of a complex of brucellosis prophylactic measures in the territory of the Republic of Dagestan has resulted in a considerable reduction of a number of primary cases in the region. In addition, forecasted is stabilization of brucellosis morbidity rates among the population and farming animals in 2014, being estimated at 320-370 cases a year

Снижение дефицита пропускных способностей железнодорожных направлений за счёт внедрения интервального регулирования движения поездов

The article presents various options for technical and technological provisions to develop the capacity of railway lines, where there is a need to master the increasing volumes of traffic caused by various factors, for example, changes in national and world cargo flows, passenger flows.The paper considers provisions undertaken to adopt and effectively implement a new technology of virtual coupling in the interval regulation of train traffic in the conditions of limited railway capacity which makes it possible to reduce inter-train intervals, electricity costs of traction as well as of infrastructure maintenance. This type of interval control allows controlling the following locomotive considering the information that is transmitted over the radio from the locomotive of the pilot train in front. The problems that arise during the traffic process controlled through virtual coupling mode are also identified followed by the model calculations referring to a system being introduced of stimulation and bonuses awarding intended for assistant station masters and traffic dispatchers of traction divisions respective of the number of dispatched and transit trains controlled through virtual coupling mode.В статье приведены различные варианты технических и технологических мероприятий по развитию пропускных способностей железнодорожных направлений, где имеется потребность в освоении возрастающих объёмов перевозок, вызванных различными факторами, в том числе, изменением национальных и мировых грузо- и пассажиропотоков.В работе рассмотрены мероприятия, осуществляемые в целях внедрения и эффективного использования новой технологии «виртуальной сцепки» при интервальном регулировании движения поездов в условиях ограниченных пропускных способностей железнодорожных направлений, позволяющей сократить межпоездные интервалы, расходы электроэнергии на тягу, а также на содержание инфраструктуры. Такой вид интервального регулирования позволяет управлять ведомым локомотивом с учётом информации, которая передается по радиоканалу с локомотива ведущего поезда. Выявлены проблемы, которые возникают при пропуске поездов, следующих в режиме «виртуальная сцепка».Приведены примерные расчёты, связанные с внедряемой системой мотивации дежурно-диспетчерского персонала дирекций управления движением и премированием работников дирекций тяги за каждый отправленный и проследовавший по участку поезд в режиме интервального регулирования

Relationship of the damage level of cell genetic apparatus with reproductive health disorder degree under conditions of harmful production

Purpose: to determine the relationship of the damage level of cell genetic apparatus with reproductive health disorder degree under conditions of harmful production.Materials and methods: the study involved 36 poultry farm female workers of childbearing age. The first group was made up by 22 workers of the main production. The control group included the other 14 employees who were administrative and managerial personnel. Clinical statistical study of reproductive health was carried out with simultaneous investigation of the cariological indices of buccal epithelium using a fluorescence microscope. At least 1000 cells in a monolayer were analyzed on each micropreparation. Statistical data analysis was made using Statistica 6.0.Results: in workers of the main production, there was a high spread of inflammatory gynecological diseases (90.9 % versus 57.1 % in the control group), uterine fibroids (9.1 %, versus 7.1 %). At the same time a statistically significant increase in the number of cells with micronuclei was revealed in this group by 2.6 times (p < 0.05), with protrusions by 1.8 times (p < 0.05), an increase in the total proliferation index by 2.3 times (p < 0.05), and the two-nuclear cells made the greatest contribution to these differences. The integral indicator of cytogenetic disorders of women of the 1st group was also significantly higher by 2.0 times (p < 0.05). Conclusion: negative influence of factors of poultry house production environment on cell genome stability disturbance was revealed. It has been established that the reproductive health disorder degree has a direct proportional dependence on the damage level of cell genetic apparatus

СОВРЕМЕННЫЕ ВОЗМОЖНОСТИ ИНТЕРФЕРОНОТЕРАПИИ ПРИ ГРИППЕ И ОСТРЫХ РЕСПИРАТОРНЫХ ИНФЕКЦИЯХ У ДЕТЕЙ

The new dosing scheme for the preparation VIFERON®, rectal suppositories for infants of II, III and IV groups of health was suggested. The application of the scheme has resulted in a more pronounced clinical and immunological effects at treatment of influenza and acute respiratory infections compared to the previously used sc heme. Предложена новая схема дозирования препарата ВИФЕРОН®, суппозитории ректальные, у детей раннего возраста II, III и IV групп здоровья, что позволило достичь более выраженных клинических и иммунологических эффектов при лечении гриппа и острых респираторных инфекций по сравнению с ранее используемой.

ГЕНЕТИЧЕСКИЙ ПОЛИМОРФИЗМ АРОМАТАЗЫ У ПАЦИЕНТОК С СЕРОЗНЫМ РАКОМ ЯИЧНИКОВ В РЕСПУБЛИКЕ БЕЛАРУСЬ

The aim of the present research was to study the frequency of the distribution of variants of gene polymorphism of aromatase (СYP19A1) in Belarusian patients with serous ovarian cancer. This population established the influence of gene polymorphism rs10046 with the risk of serous ovarian cancer in women older than 50 years: CT genotype in a group of patients with serous ovarian cancer was met significantly less than in the control group (OR = 0.58; 95 % CI: 0.37–0.91; p = 0.023).В работе изучена частота распределения полиморфных вариантов гена ароматазы у белорусских пациенток с серозным раком яичников. В данной популяции пациентов установлена связь генетического полиморфизма rs10046 с риском развития серозного рака яичников у женщин старше 50 лет: генотип СТ в группе пациенток встречался достоверно реже (OR = 0,58; 95 % CI: 0,37–0,91; р = 0,023)

КЛИНИЧЕСКИЙ СЛУЧАЙ ГРИППА А(H1N1), ОСЛОЖНЕННОГО ОСТРЫМ ДИССЕМИНИРОВАННЫМ ЭНЦЕФАЛОМИЕЛИТОМ

The defeat of the central nervous system in influenza reflects the properties of both the pathogen itself and the complex pathogenetic mechanisms of the influenza infectious process.  Existing modern  theories do not fully explain the pathological conditions of influenza in the central nervous system, which is still accompanied by ambiguous clinical arguments about the direct cytopathic effect of the influenza virus on neural tissue with the development of encephalitis. Another rare complication of the flu is acute disseminated encephalomyelitis. The autoimmune mechanism of the development of this disease is universally recognized, despite the continuing difficulties of diagnosis in the absence of oligoclonal antibodies in blood plasma and spinal cerebral fluid in the majority of patients.Поражение центральной нервной системы при гриппе отражает свойства как самого возбудителя, так и сложные патогенетические механизмы гриппозного инфекционного процесса. Существующие современные теории до конца не объясняют патологические состояния при гриппе, реализуемые в ЦНС, что до сих сопровождается неоднозначностью клинических рассуждений о прямом цитопатическом  действии вируса гриппа  на нервную ткань с развитием энцефалита. Другим редким осложнением гриппа является острый диссеминированный энцефаломиелит. Аутоимунный механизм развития данного заболевания является общепризнанным, несмотря на сохраняющиеся сложности диагностики при отсутствии олигоклональных антител в плазме крови и спино-мозговой жидкости у большей части пациентов

Psychological and pedagogical evaliation of dentistry students by questionnaire

The quality of physiological education was evaluated by 73 dentistry students using special questionnaire. The majority of the students (70%) are positively assessing the educational process, which is not easy for 72% of them. The good contact between teachers and students was reported in 99%. Also the department of physiology is well methodologically equipped. The recommendation of the shift the beginning of physiology course for dentistry students from second to third semester is based on the study resultsВ статье рассмотрена проблема оценки студентами стоматологического факультета качества образовательного процесса на кафедре нормальной физиологии методом анкетирования. Большинство респондентов это хорошо успевающие студенты, в 70% случаев дающие положительную оценку образовательному процессу. Анализ анкет показал, что в силу сокращения времени освоения предмета нормальная физиология, физиология челюстно-лицевой области (один семестр), у 72% студентов обучение вызывает значительное напряжение. Однако отмечается хороший контакт (99%) обучающихся студентов с преподавателями и достаточное методическое оснащение кафедры. По результатам исследования сформулированы рекомендации по сдвигу начала изучения студентами стоматологического факультета дисциплины нормальная физиология, физиология челюстно-лицевой области со второго на третий семестр
