Analysis of mental health of older mature and older, living in ecologically unfavorable areas of the Ural region

A total of 412 patients older and older (52-69 years old, mean age 60,5 ± 0,9 years), living a long time in the areas ot concern of the Ural region. Identified and studied exogenous- organic brain disorders (psycho-organic syndrome) and vascular lesions of the brain (vascular dementia). The factors that lead to the formation of exogenous - organic brain damage, and vascular dementia (radionuclides, heavy metals and hazardous toxic substances). Studied the direct relationship between environmental pollution and man-made ingredients in the formation of the population of the region of serious chronic diseases.Обследовано 412 пациентов старшего и пожилого возраста (52 - 69 лет, средний возраст 60,5 ± 0,9 года), проживающих длительное время на экологически неблагополучной территории Уральского региона. Выявлены и изучены экзогенно-органические наррения головного мозга (психоорганический синдром) и сосудистые поражения головного мозга (сосудистая деменция). Рассмотрены факторы, приводящие к формированию экзогенно-органического поражения мозга и сосудистой деменции (радионуклиды, тяжелые металлы и опасные токсические вещества). Изучена прямая зависимость между загрязнением природной среды ингредиентами антропогенного характера и формированием у части населения региона тяжелых хронических заболеваний

Plurisubharmonic subextensions as envelopes of disc functionals

We prove a disc formula for the largest plurisubharmonic subextension of an upper semicontinuous function on a domain $W$ in a Stein manifold to a larger domain $X$ under suitable conditions on $W$ and $X$. We introduce a related equivalence relation on the space of analytic discs in $X$ with boundary in $W$. The quotient, if it is Hausdorff, is a complex manifold with a local biholomorphism to $X$. We use our disc formula to generalise Kiselman's minimum principle. We show that his infimum function is an example of a plurisubharmonic subextension.Finnur Lárusson & Evgeny A. Poletsk
