    On plasmon modes in multi-layer structures

    In this paper, we consider the plasmon resonance in multi-layer structures. The conductivity problem associated with uniformly distributed background field is considered. We show that the plasmon mode is equivalent to the eigenvalue problem of a matrix, whose order is the same to the number of layers. For any number of layers, the exact characteristic polynomial is derived by a conjecture and is verified by using induction. It is shown that all the roots to the characteristic polynomial are real and exist in the span [-1, 2]. Numerical examples are presented for finding all the plasmon modes, and it is surprisingly to find out that such multi-layer structures may induce so called surface-plasmon-resonance-like band

    Research on the Influence Mechanism of Virtual CSR Co-creation on Consumer Identity

    With the development of Internet marketing, virtual CSR co-creation has attracted the attention of enterprises. This paper explores the influence mechanism of different routes of interactivity of virtual CSR co-creation on consumer identity by introducing interaction theory and self-construal theory. The experimental results show that routes of interactivity have a positive impact on consumer identity, and experiential route has a stronger impact on consumer identity. Routes of interactivity and self-construal have an interactive effect on consumer identity: When virtual CSR co-creation is structural route, the interdependent self show a higher consumer identity; On the contrary, when virtual CSR co-creation is experiential route, the independent self show a higher consumer identity. The results also indicate that CSR perception plays a mediating role in the interaction effect between routes of interactivity and self-construal on consumer identity

    The development of open source brings new thinking and production modes to software engineering and computer science, and establishes a software development method and ecological environment in which groups participate. Regardless of investors, developers, participants, and managers, they are most concerned about whether the Open Source Ecosystem can be sustainable to ensure that the ecosystem they choose will serve users for a long time. Moreover, the most important quality of the software ecosystem is sustainability, and it is also a research area in Symmetry. Therefore, it is significant to assess the sustainability of the Open Source Ecosystem. However, the current measurement of the sustainability of the Open Source Ecosystem lacks universal measurement indicators, as well as a method and a model. Therefore, this paper constructs an Evaluation Indicators System, which consists of three levels: The target level, the guideline level and the evaluation level, and takes openness, stability, activity, and extensibility as measurement indicators. On this basis, a weight calculation method, based on information contribution values and a Sustainability Assessment Model, is proposed. The models and methods are used to analyze the factors affecting the sustainability of Stack Overflow (SO) ecosystem. Through the analysis, we find that every indicator in the SO ecosystem is partaking in different development trends. The development trend of a single indicator does not represent the sustainable development trend of the whole ecosystem. It is necessary to consider all of the indicators to judge that ecosystem’s sustainability. The research on the sustainability of the Open Source Ecosystem is helpful for judging software health, measuring development efficiency and adjusting organizational structure. It also provides a reference for researchers who study the sustainability of software engineering

    Lithium Recovery from Brines Including Seawater, Salt Lake Brine, Underground Water and Geothermal Water

    Demand to lithium rising swiftly as increasing due to its diverse applications such as rechargeable batteries, light aircraft alloys, air purification, medicine and nuclear fusion. Lithium demand is expected to triple by 2025 through the use of batteries, particularly electric vehicles. The lithium market is expected to grow from 184,000 TPA of lithium carbonate to 534,000 TPA by 2025. To ensure the growing consumption of lithium, it is necessary to increase the production of lithium from different resources. Natural lithium resources mainly associate within granite pegmatite type deposit (spodumene and petalite ores), salt lake brines, seawater and geothermal water. Among them, the reserves of lithium resource in salt lake brine, seawater and geothermal water are in 70–80% of the total, which are excellent raw materials for lithium extraction. Compared with the minerals, the extraction of lithium from water resources is promising because this aqueous lithium recovery is more abundant, more environmentally friendly and cost-effective
