Landau-Zener-Stuckelberg interference in a multi-anticrossing system
We propose a universal analytical method to study the dynamics of a
multi-anticrossing system subject to driving by one single large-amplitude
triangle pulse, within its time scales smaller than the dephasing time. Our
approach can explain the main features of the Landau-Zener-Stuckelberg
interference patterns recently observed in a tripartite system [Nature
Communications 1:51 (2010)]. In particular, we focus on the effects of the size
of anticrossings on interference and compare the calculated interference
patterns with numerical simulations. In addition, Fourier transform of the
patterns can extract information on the energy level spectrum.Comment: 6 pages, 5 figure
Optically-Nonactive Assorted Helices Array with Interchangeable Magnetic/Electric Resonance
We report here the designing of optically-nonactive metamaterial by
assembling metallic helices with different chirality. With linearly polarized
incident light, pure electric or magnetic resonance can be selectively
realized, which leads to negative permittivity or negative permeability
accordingly. Further, we show that pure electric or magnetic resonance can be
interchanged at the same frequency band by merely changing the polarization of
incident light for 90 degrees. This design demonstrates a unique approach to

AbstractIn this paper, we study the following functional dynamic equation on time scales: {[Φ(uΔ(t))]∇+a(t)f(u(t),u(μ(t)))=0,t∈(0,T)T,u(t)=φ(t),t∈[−r,0)T,u(0)−B0(uΔ(0))=0,uΔ(T)=0, where Φ:R→R is an increasing homeomorphism and a positive homomorphism and Φ(0)=0. By using the well-known Leggett–Williams fixed point theorem, existence criteria for multiple positive solutions are established. An example is also given to illustrate the main results
The impact of employee’s perception of organizational climate on their technology acceptance toward e-learning in South Korea
To better understand the relationship between e-learning integration and organizational factors in South Korea, this study explored the influence of employees’ perceptions of organizational climate on their technology acceptances toward e-learning in the workplace of South Korea. Employees’ perceptions of organizational climate was evaluated using Litwin & Stringer’s Organizational Climate Questionnaire (LSOCQ) and employees’ technology acceptance toward e-learning was measured by the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). A canonical correlation suggested that employees’ perceived organizational climate can influence their acceptance levels toward e-learning, which implies the importance of addressing organizational issues while integrating e-learning into workplaces in South Korea
Varied Signature Splitting Phenomena in Odd Proton Nuclei
Varied signature splitting phenomena in odd proton rare earth nuclei are
investigated. Signature splitting as functions of and in the angular
momentum projection theory is explicitly shown and compared with those of the
particle rotor model. The observed deviations from these rules are due to the
band mixings. The recently measured Ta high spin data are taken as a
typical example where fruitful information about signature effects can be
extracted. Six bands, two of which have not yet been observed, were calculated
and discussed in detail in this paper. The experimentally unknown band head
