Over the years, new lines of thought have improved marketing concepts. In view of this scenario and the rapid change in the market and dynamics of organizations, the objective of this work is to study two of these new existing trends: Neuromarketing and Endomarketing. More in detail, the general objective is to study how Neuromarketing, through neuroscience, can help in structuring Endomarketing campaigns. Because these are relatively new concepts, especially Neuromaketing, the literature is still somewhat lacking, especially regarding the approaches of neuromarketing applied to the internal public of organizations. This fact was the main motivator for the purpose of this research. To relate the two theories and try to fill this existing gap, an adaptation to the FREGI method was developed, originally created by the French authors Patrick Reinvosé and Christophe Morin, this method summarizes in four stages the exact process that the company must follow so that the campaign can directly reach the primitive brain (responsible for decision making). The first stage of this method was exactly to diagnose the frustrations of the employees of the Hotel Sombra e Água Fresca, through a questionnaire applied in person with 64 employees, which correspond to 42% of the company's staff, such as we can visualize in the first 4 specific objectives of this work. After this, the development of the work was sequenced, in order to elucidate the problem encountered, and describe how Endomarketing campaigns can become more effective through the proven applicability of the concepts of Neuromarketing, of this in view of the latter of the specific objectives.

C-reactive protein levels in patients at cardiovascular risk: EURIKA study
Background: Elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) levels are associated with high cardiovascular risk, and might identify patients who could benefit from more carefully adapted risk factor management. We have assessed the prevalence of elevated CRP levels in patients with one or more traditional cardiovascular risk factors.
Methods: Data were analysed from the European Study on Cardiovascular Risk Prevention and Management in Usual Daily Practice (EURIKA, ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT00882336), which included patients (aged ≥50 years) from 12 European countries with at least one traditional cardiovascular risk factor but no history of cardiovascular disease. Analysis was also carried out on the subset of patients without diabetes mellitus who were not receiving statin therapy.
Results: In the overall population, CRP levels were positively correlated with body mass index and glycated haemoglobin levels, and were negatively correlated with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels. CRP levels were also higher in women, those at higher traditionally estimated cardiovascular risk and those with greater numbers of metabolic syndrome markers. Among patients without diabetes mellitus who were not receiving statin therapy, approximately 30% had CRP levels ≥3 mg/L, and approximately 50% had CRP levels ≥2 mg/L, including those at intermediate levels of traditionally estimated cardiovascular risk.
Conclusions: CRP levels are elevated in a large proportion of patients with at least one cardiovascular risk factor, without diabetes mellitus who are not receiving statin therapy, suggesting a higher level of cardiovascular risk than predicted according to conventional risk estimation systems
Project-Based Learning as a Method to Develop Soft Skills in Four-Year-Old Infants
The study presented focused on analyzing the influence of project-based learning on the development of soft skills in four-year-old infants from an Educational Institution in Guayaquil, considering that based on a previous study it was determined that most children had difficulties in self-regulating their emotions, having a positive vision or showing empathy with their peers. This research considered an applied methodology, with a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design. The study population consisted of 70 children from the initial education sublevel one, who were divided equally to form the control and experimental group. An observation guide was used as a data collection instrument that was applied as a pre-test and post-test to all participants. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group after the application of project-based learning activities
Broadly neutralizing antibodies abrogate established hepatitis C virus infection
In most exposed individuals, hepatitis C virus (HCV) establishes a chronic infection; this long-term infection in turn contributes to the development of liver diseases such as cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The role of antibodies directed against HCV in disease progression is poorly understood. Neutralizing antibodies (nAbs) can prevent HCV infection in vitro and in animal models. However, the effects of nAbs on an established HCV infection are unclear. We demonstrate that three broadly nAbs—AR3A, AR3B, and AR4A—delivered with adeno-associated viral vectors can confer protection against viral challenge in humanized mice. Furthermore, we provide evidence that nAbs can abrogate an ongoing HCV infection in primary hepatocyte cultures and in a human liver chimeric mouse model. These results showcase a therapeutic approach to interfere with HCV infection by exploiting a previously unappreciated need for HCV to continuously infect new hepatocytes to sustain a chronic infection
In order to assess the feasibility of using sesame seed paste as a partial substitute for soybean meal in quail rations, an experiment was conducted to test four treatments in one-day-old birds: treatment 1: Control diet (0% sesame paste); treatment 2: diet with 25% substitution of soybean meal by sesame paste ; treatment 3: 50% substitution of soybean meal by sesame past, and treatment 4: 75% substitution of soybean meal by sesame paste. Four groups of 50 birds each were formed to receive one of the four diets offered ad libitum in equal amounts during 5 consecutive weeks. Using a complete randomized experimental design with factorial arrangement (4x5 four treatments and five weeks), four variables were evaluated: feed intake, live weight gain, feed conversion ratio and mortality. Treatment 4 diet was the least consumed throughout the experiment, while treatment 2 diet recorded the highest weekly average consumption per bird, both significantly different from the others (P <.01). Animal weight gain was significantly lower in treatment 4 birds and significantly higher in birds of treatment 1 (P <.01), so feed conversion ratio of treatment 4 turned out to be the highest and, therefore, the least efficient (P <.05) since it required the greatest amount of food to convert it into live weight; conversion ratio of control diet, was significantly lower than that of treatments 3 and 4 but not different from ratio obtained in treatment 2, showing that sesame paste content reduces feed conversion when substitution levels of soybean meal rise higher than 25%.The mortality of the birds was somewhat higher than normal and it was not influenced by the level of sesame paste, since the loss of birds was similar in all groups.Deficiency of lysine in diets containing sesame paste could account for the lower performance of quails fed these diets.
Transformation of Educational Practice: The Role of Organizational Learning in Teacher Professional Development
The objective of this study was to investigate the correlation of organizational learning on the professional development of teachers in an educational unit in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The methodology used was quantitative, non-experimental and correlational in scope, with a sample of 100 teachers. Cronbach\u27s alpha was used to validate the data collection instruments, obtaining high reliability indexes, and chi-square was used to evaluate the independence between categorical variables and to determine the significant association between them. The results showed that organizational learning has a significant impact on teacher professional development, with the associated significance values (Sig.) being 0.021 for Pearson and 0.032 for Deviance. It is concluded that implementing effective organizational learning strategies can substantially improve teachers\u27 professional development and, consequently, educational quality

Playful Activities to Develop Mathematical Thinking in High School Children
The research focused on analyzing how a program of playful activities influences the development of
mathematical thinking in early childhood children who attend the preparatory education level, a process of transition between mathematical notions and the basic contents of this area of knowledge. The study used a quantitative methodology and quasi-experimental design based on the comparison of an experimental and a control group. The study population included 70 students aged 5 to 6 years. Initially, a diagnosis was applied based on the mathematical thinking questionnaire that obtained a reliability level of A=.855, through which shortcomings were evidenced in both groups. The final results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group, while the control group showed no significant changes
