Weblog patterns and human dynamics with decreasing interest
Weblog is the fourth way of network exchange after Email, BBS and MSN. Most
bloggers begin to write blogs with great interest, and then their interests
gradually achieve a balance with the passage of time. In order to describe the
phenomenon that people's interest in something gradually decreases until it
reaches a balance, we first propose the model that describes the attenuation of
interest and reflects the fact that people's interest becomes more stable after
a long time. We give a rigorous analysis on this model by non-homogeneous
Poisson processes. Our analysis indicates that the interval distribution of
arrival-time is a mixed distribution with exponential and power-law feature,
that is, it is a power law with an exponential cutoff. Second, we collect blogs
in ScienceNet.cn and carry on empirical studies on the interarrival time
distribution. The empirical results agree well with the analytical result,
obeying a special power law with the exponential cutoff, that is, a special
kind of Gamma distribution. These empirical results verify the model, providing
an evidence for a new class of phenomena in human dynamics. In human dynamics
there are other distributions, besides power-law distributions. These findings
demonstrate the variety of human behavior dynamics.Comment: 8 pages, 1 figure
Break up of heavy fermions at an antiferromagnetic instability
We present results of high-resolution, low-temperature measurements of the
Hall coefficient, thermopower, and specific heat on stoichiometric YbRh2Si2.
They support earlier conclusions of an electronic (Kondo-breakdown) quantum
critical point concurring with a field induced antiferromagnetic one. We also
discuss the detachment of the two instabilities under chemical pressure. Volume
compression/expansion (via substituting Rh by Co/Ir) results in a
stabilization/weakening of magnetic order. Moderate Ir substitution leads to a
non-Fermi-liquid phase, in which the magnetic moments are neither ordered nor
screened by the Kondo effect. The so-derived zero-temperature global phase
diagram promises future studies to explore the nature of the Kondo breakdown
quantum critical point without any interfering magnetism.Comment: minor changes, accepted for publication in JPS

Collaborative practice among general ward staff on escalating care in clinical deterioration: A systematic review
Aim
To understand the issues surrounding collaborative practice and collaboration experiences among general ward staff in the escalation of care for clinically deteriorating patients.
Design
A systematic synthesis without meta-analysis.
Review Methods
Seven electronic databases (CINAHL, Cochrane, Embase, PsycINFO, PubMed, Scopus and ProQuest Theses and Dissertations) were searched from their inception to 30 April 2022. Two reviewers independently screened titles, abstracts and full text for eligibility. The critical appraisal skill programme, Joanna Briggs Institute checklist for analytical cross-sectional studies and mixed methods appraisal tool were used to appraise the quality of the included studies. Both quantitative and qualitative research data were extracted, analysed and then synthesised using the data-based convergent qualitative synthesis approach. This review adhered to the Synthesis without meta-analysis (SWiM) reporting guidelines.
Results
A total of 17 studies were included. Two themes and six sub-themes were generated: (1) intraprofessional factors—inadequate handover, workload and mutual support, raising and acting on concerns, and seeking help from seniors and (2) interprofessional factors—differences in communication styles, and hierarchical approach versus interpersonal relationships.
Conclusions
This systematic review highlights the need to address the intra- and interprofessional issues surrounding collaborative practice in escalation of care among general ward staff.
Implications for the Profession
Findings from this review will inform healthcare leaders and educators on the development of relevant strategies and multi-disciplinary training to foster effective teamwork among nurses and doctors, with the goal of improving the escalation of care for patients with clinical deterioration.

Behavior of the Quantum Critical Point and the Fermi-liquid Domain in the Heavy Fermion Superconductor CeCoIn5 studied by resistivity
We report detailed very low temperature resistivity measurements on the heavy
fermion compounds Ce_{1-x}La_{x}CoIn5 (x=0 and x=0.01), with current applied in
two crystallographic directions [100] (basal plane) and [001] (perpendicular to
the basal plane) under magnetic field applied in the [001] or [011] direction.
We found a Fermi liquid (\rho \propto T^{2}) ground state, in all cases, for
fields above the superconducting upper critical field. We discuss the possible
location of a field induced quantum critical point with respect to Hc2(0), and
compare our measurements with the previous reports in order to give a clear
picture of the experimental status on this long debated issue.Comment: 17 pages, 7 figures accepted for publication in JPS
CP Violation in Bilarge Lepton Mixing
We propose a scheme of lepton mixing in which the unitary matrix that
diagonalizes the neutrino mass matrix is bimaximal and the deviation from
bimaximal of the lepton mixing matrix is due to the unitary matrix that
diagonalizes the charged-lepton mass matrix. This matrix is assumed to be
hierarchical, like the quark mixing matrix. It is shown that in general it is
possible to have a sizable value for |U_{e3}| together with an effective
two-neutrino maximal mixing in solar neutrino experiments. If the effective
mixing in solar neutrino experiments is less than maximal, as indicated by
current data, |U_{e3}| is bounded from below. Furthermore, in general the

Antiferromagnetism and Superconductivity in CeRhIn
We discuss recent results on the heavy fermion superconductor CeRhIn
which presents ideal conditions to study the strong coupling between the
suppression of antiferromagnetic order and the appearance of unconventional
superconductivity. The appearance of superconductivity as function of pressure
is strongly connected to the suppression of the magnetic order. Under magnetic
field, the re-entrance of magnetic order inside the superconducting state shows
that antiferromagnetism nucleates in the vortex cores. The suppression of
antiferromagnetism in CeRhIn by Sn doping is compared to that under

Simulation of the CMS Resistive Plate Chambers
The Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) muon subsystem contributes significantly to
the formation of the trigger decision and reconstruction of the muon trajectory
parameters. Simulation of the RPC response is a crucial part of the entire CMS
Monte Carlo software and directly influences the final physical results. An
algorithm based on the parametrization of RPC efficiency, noise, cluster size
and timing for every strip has been developed. Experimental data obtained from
cosmic and proton-proton collisions at TeV have been used for
determination of the parameters. A dedicated validation procedure has been
developed. A good agreement between the simulated and experimental data has
