A bridgeless Cuk PFC converter

A bridgeless Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit based on Cuk converter is proposed in this paper. The operation during each sub-interval modes of the converter operated in Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM) is discussed. The smallsignal and large signal models are presented using Current Injected Equivalent Circuit Approach (CIECA). PLECS/Simulink is used to verify the capability of the proposed converter to regulate the output voltage while the input current regulation is inherent. Active control of structural sound radiation using a spatial control method with multiple structural sensors

This paper introduces a method to control structural sound radiation using multiple structural sensors. Tonal radiation from a vibrating arbitrary structure is considered in this paper. Based on the estimation of the vibration profile of a noise radiating structure, spatial signals that represents radiated pressure field can be generated. These spatial signals can also be spatially weighted to control radiated noise at some far-field regions more than at others. Numerical studies on a simply-supported plate were performed which demonstrate the ability of the proposed method to control sound radiation that is spatially weighted over certain regions in the far-field.Dunant Halim and Ben S. Voice Control in Calorie Tracker Application Using Levenshtein Distance Algorithm

Each food consumed by people contains a number of calories needed by the body to perform an activity. Calories can be described as fuel of engine to move and carry out tasks. Public\u27s indifference to the food consumed can cause some negative effects on health like, too skinny, obesity, and emergence of various diseases. Therefore, it is necessary to have an application which can provide some information about the calorie needs, so that user can control the calorie intake. This paper describes the development of an application to assist user in controlling calorie intake according to the calorie needs. This application supports voice control feature to improve user comfort in performing certain commands and inputting food consumed. In addition, this application also uses Levenshtein Distance algorithm to correct food recognition errors which is spoken by user. This research is motivated by Infrastructure Development of Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah Sub-district, Indragiri Hilir Regency that has not been realized well in accordance with the Tanah Merah Village Development Program Activity Plan as stated in RKPDes Desa Tanah Merah document. The purpose of this research is to find out how is the Implementation of Village Government Work Plan (RKPDes) in the Village Development Sector of Tanah Merah based on Indragiri Hilir Regent Regulation No. 27 of 2016 about Regional Development Plans Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2016 Year and what factors that affect the Implementation of Government Work Plan (RKP) in 2016 Year at the field of development of the village of Tanah Merah.Based on the formulation above of the research problems, to answer the purpose of research, the authors use the theory Tachjan (2006: 8). According to him, there are three things that must be fulfilled in the absolute implementation of: First, the Implementing Elements, Second, Programs conducted, Third, Target Group.While the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, in the form of primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques such as observation and interview. Determination method of research informant used is triangulation technique. Research location in Tanah Merah Village and Tanah Merah Village Office Tanah Merah Sub-district Indragiri Hilir Regency.The result of the research shows that the Implementation of Village Government Work Plan (RKPDes) in the Village Development Sector of Tanah Merah Tanah Merah Sub-district of Indragiri Hilir Regency conducted by Tanah Merah Village with a description of who becomes the implementing element of the village development program and how it is implemented. Pelayanan Konseling pada Warga Binaan Sosial di Panti Sosial Bangun Daya I – Kedoya Jakarta Barat

Pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi pelayanan konseling kepada 17 orang Warga Binaan Sosial (WBS) yang terdiri dari pengemis, joki, pengamen, anak jalanan, Pekerja Seks Komersial/pelacur, penjahat dan lainnya yang berada di Panti Sosial Bangun Daya I – Kedoya Jakarta Barat. Tujuan konseling individu dan kelompok adalah untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam kehidupan WBS, meningkatkan pemahaman tentang agama, memberikan motivasi, dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan pola pikir bahwa hidup adalah USAha dan bekerja dengan tidak melanggar aturan dan norma yang berlaku. This public service has the form of counseling services to 17 peoples of Citizens Social Patronage (Warga Binaan Sosial/WBS) which consists of beggars, jockeys, street singers, street children, prostitutes, criminals and others who are in Bangun Daya I Social Institutions – Kedoya West Jakarta. The purpose of individual and group counseling is to help solve the problems encountered in the life of the WBS, increased understanding of religion and motivation, and increase the confidence and mindset that life is an effort and work with not against the rules and norms

Analisis Pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 Ditinjau dari Standar Proses dalam Pembelajaran IPA Kelas VII SMP Al-ulum Kota Medan

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisi perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) pembelajaran IPA di kelas VII berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SMP Al-Ulum Kota Medan (2) Menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA di kelas VII berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SMP Al-Ulum Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Al-Ulum Kota Medan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2018-2019. Penelitian ini menganalisis Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang disusun oleh guru IPA di kelas VII serta pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA di kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) analisi kelengkapan RPP buatan guru IPA SMP Al-Ulum sub materi sistem pencernaan sebesar 90,87% dengan kategori ketercapaian sangat baik; 2) Analisi telaah yang dilakukan terhadap RPP IPA kelas VII, aspek perencanaan adalah sebesar 75% dengan kategori ketercapaian kurang baik; 3) Persentase ketercapaian aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Al- Ulum berdasarkan observasi secara menyeluruh 83,9% dengan kategori ketercapaian Baik
