Neste trabalho foi obtida a fase pura Anatase, do dióxido de titânio, de tamanho de grão nanométrico (Titanium dioxide, TiO2, is a material of great technological importance due to their physicochemical properties. Furthermore, it is known that the material exhibits properties that depend on one synthesis process carried out for obtaining, and these conditions are also important to nanotechnology processes. In this work was obtained pure Anatase phase of titanium dioxide, nano grain size (<25 nm) obtained by the sol-gel method at low temperatures. This process afforded amorphous and polycrystalline quick and simple manner using water and ethanol as solvents and dry titanium alkoxide precursor. The structure and morphology of the synthesized material were modified to improve the properties and characteristics from heat treatments at temperatures of 400 to 500 ° C at intervals of 3 to 6 hours. The material synthesized in powder form was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The physicochemical properties of the samples of nanostructured titanium oxide obtained in this study suggest their potential use as antimicrobial materials and photocatalytic
