    Leptoquark Production in e−e−e^-e^- Scattering

    Get PDF
We consider the production of scalar and vector leptoquarks in e−e−e^-e^- collisions. Although this reaction is not competitive with {\em e.g.} e−γe^-\gamma scattering for discovering these heavy states, it is the main process susceptible of differentiating two important classes of leptoquarks.Comment: 9 pages, talk presented at the Santa Cruz e-e- Workshop, UCSC, 4-5 September 199

    Selectron Searches in e−e−e^-e^- Scattering

We review the pair-production and decay of selectrons in e−e−e^-e^- collisions and show how the standard model backgrounds can be virtually eliminated with polarized beams. The exceedingly simple analysis involved and the large sample of background-free supersymmetric events make this linear collider operating mode ideal for discovering selectrons and measuring the mass of the lightest neutralino.Comment: 6 pages, talk presented at the Santa Cruz e-e- Workshop, UCSC, 4-5 September 199

Bileptons: Present Limits and Future Prospects

    Get PDF
We define bileptons to be bosons coupling to a pair of leptons and construct the most general dimension four lagrangian involving scalar and vector bileptons. We concentrate on fields with lepton number 2, and derive model independent bounds on their masses and couplings from low-energy data. In addition, we study their signals in high energy experiments and forecast the discovery potential of future colliders.Comment: 60 page

    Physics with Like-Sign Muon Beams

    Get PDF
We point out that both the specific lepton number content and the high energies potentially attainable with muon-muon colliders make it advisable to consider the technical feasibility of including an option of like-sign incoming beams in the studies towards a proposal to build a muon-muon collider with center-of-mass energies in the TeV region. This capability will add some unique physics capabilities to the project. Special attention will have to be paid to polarization retention for the muons.Comment: 13 pages, uuencoded postscript file, also available from ftp://gluon.hep.physik.uni-muenchen.de/preprints/scipp9534.u

    Model-Independent Z′Z' Limits from Electron-Electron Collisions

    Get PDF
Model independent constraints on the mass of an extra neutral gauge boson and its couplings to charged leptons are given for the e−e−e^-e^- option of a future linear collider. Analytic exclusion limits are derived in the Born approximation. The results are compared with those of the e+e−e^+e^- mode. The influence of radiative corrections is discussed.Comment: 7 pages, LaTeX, 4 Figures, uuencoded Postscriptfile, MPI-Ph/94-23, LMU-04/9
