    [ES] La cartografía eléctrica cardiaca permite identificar los patrones de conducción eléctrica en el corazón tanto en las modalidades invasivas como no invasivas. En fibrilación auricular, es posible identificar lugares mantenedores de arritmias a partir del mapeo eléctrico, pero su localización es un problema complejo de resolver. Actualmente se utilizan técnicas espacio-temporales para la identificación de rotores (basadas en la identificación de singularidades de fase) y sitios de frecuencias dominantes más altas (basadas en cálculo de periodograma de Welch). Sin embargo, los resultados son subóptimos por lo que existe la necesidad de desarrollar nuevas estrategias. El objetivo del presente trabajo es utilizar técnicas de inteligencia artificial basadas en redes neuronales convolucionales para la identificación de los lugares mantenedores de la fibrilación auricular[EN] Cardiac electrical mapping allows to identify electrical conduction patterns both invasively and non-invasively. Although drivers identification is possible in atrial fibrillation, it is complex to locate them. Currently, spatio-temporal techniques are used to identify rotors (based on phase singularity points identification) and high dominant frequency areas (based on Welch-periodogram calculation). However, outcomes are suboptimal resulting in a necessity to develop novel approaches.     Estudio de fibras de cristal fotónico para biosensado haciendo uso de interrogación transversal

    [ES] Las fibras de cristal fotónico (es decir, perforadas longitudinalmente por un array periódico de micro-agujeros) han cobrado un gran interés recientemente, ya que sus propiedades son muy prometedoras para aplicaciones que van desde fenómenos no lineales hasta sensado de líquidos y gases. En ese último caso, el hecho de que los agujeros de la fibra puedan ser infiltrados con ciertas sustancias es lo que le confiere la relevancia para aplicación en bio-sensado. En general, el sensado se produce inyectando y detectando luz en la dirección longitudinal, lo que hace que los dispositivos aunque eficientes sean de mucha longitud. Sin embargo, las propiedades de periodicidad de la fibra permiten también que esta pueda interaccionar fuertemente con la luz inyectada en la dirección transversal. De hecho, la periodicidad debe producir bandas de propagación prohibidas cuyas frecuencias variarán enormemente con la infiltración de gases o líquidos, por lo que se podría realizar bio-sensado en una distancia mucho menor que en el caso de la inyección de luz en la dirección longitudinal.     Analytical exploratory tool for healthcare professionals to monitor cancer patients' progress

    [EN] Cancer is a primary public concern in the European continent. Due to the large case numbers and survival rates, a significant population is living with cancer needs. Consequently, health professionals must deal with complex treatment decision-making processes. In this context, much data is collected during cancer care delivery. Once collected, these data are complex for health professionals to access to support clinical decision-making and performance review. There is a need for innovative tools that make clinical data more accessible to support cancer health professionals in these activities. One approach for providing health professionals with access to clinical data is to create the infrastructure and interface for a clinical tool to make data accessible in a relevant manner. In this sense, results should be understandable and valuable for cancer experts to evaluate and optimize cancer processes. This work aims to collect and report the process of developing an exploratory analytical Interactive Process Mining tool with clinical relevance for healthcare professionals for monitoring cancer patients¿ care processes in the context of the LifeChamps project.     A multinational investigation of healthcare needs, preferences, and expectations in supportive cancer care: co-creating the LifeChamps digital platform

    Purpose: This study is to evaluate healthcare needs, preferences, and expectations in supportive cancer care as perceived by cancer survivors, family caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Methods: Key stakeholders consisted of cancer survivors diagnosed with breast cancer, prostate cancer, or melanoma; adult family caregivers; and healthcare professionals involved in oncology. Recruitment was via several routes, and data were collected via either online surveys or telephone interviews in Greece, Spain, Sweden, and the UK. Framework analysis was applied to the dataset. Results: One hundred and fifty-five stakeholders participated: 70 cancer survivors, 23 family caregivers, and 62 healthcare professionals (13 clinical roles). Cancer survivors and family caregivers’ needs included information and support on practical/daily living, as frustration was apparent with the lack of follow-up services. Healthcare professionals agreed on a multidisciplinary health service with a “focus on the patient” and availability closer to home. Most healthcare professionals acknowledged that patient-reported outcomes may provide “better individualised care”. Cancer survivors and family caregivers generally felt that the digital platform would be useful for timely personalised support and aided communication. Healthcare professionals were supportive of the “proactive” functionality of the platform and the expected advantages. Anticipated challenges were integration obstacles such as workload/infrastructure and training/support in using the new technology. Conclusions: Obtaining key stakeholders’ insights provided a foundation for action to further co-create the LifeChamps digital platform to meet needs and priorities and deliver enhanced supportive care to “older” cancer survivors.     A smart digital health platform to enable monitoring of quality of life and frailty in older patients with cancer: a mixed-methods, feasibility study protocol

    Objectives: LifeChamps is an EU Horizon 2020 project that aims to create a digital platform to enable monitoring of health-related quality of life and frailty in patients with cancer over the age of 65. Our primary objective is to assess feasibility, usability, acceptability, fidelity, adherence, and safety parameters when implementing LifeChamps in routine cancer care. Secondary objectives involve evaluating preliminary signals of efficacy and cost-effectiveness indicators. Data Sources: This will be a mixed-methods exploratory project, involving four study sites in Greece, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The quantitative component of LifeChamps (single-group, pre-post feasibility study) will integrate digital technologies, home-based motion sensors, self-administered questionnaires, and the electronic health record to (1) enable multimodal, real-world data collection, (2) provide patients with a coaching mobile app interface, and (3) equip healthcare professionals with an interactive, patient-monitoring dashboard. The qualitative component will determine end-user usability and acceptability via end-of-study surveys and interviews. Conclusion: The first patient was enrolled in the study in January 2023. Recruitment will be ongoing until the project finishes before the end of 2023. Implications for Nursing Practice: LifeChamps provides a comprehensive digital health platform to enable continuous monitoring of frailty indicators and health-related quality of life determinants in geriatric cancer care. Real-world data collection will generate “big data” sets to enable development of predictive algorithms to enable patient risk classification, identification of patients in need for a comprehensive geriatric assessment, and subsequently personalized care

Los objetivos que queremos lograr como proyecto es un reconocimiento de marca y una clientela establecida en el mediano plazo, los cuales serán empresas pionera en un negocio nunca antes realizado en la Web chilena, y para ello tenemos que aprovechar al máximo estos beneficios. El estrato socioeconómico a donde queremos llegar es bien amplio ya que al ser empresas puede!\abarcar mucho desde el pequeño emprendedor hasta multinacionales, todo va a depender de cuantos píxeles quieran ocupar dentro de Click Millonario. Vale destacar que lo más probable es que cubra la demanda de las empresas que no tienen recursos para potenciarse en la Web por si mismas o que quieren acceder por medio de gente más profesional en el tema.     La presente monografía pretende realizar una propuesta para que Tracker de Colombia SAS logre la implementación de las Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera (NIIF) en la compañía tomando como base estudios bibliográficos y relevantes de la norma y conocimiento de la empresa. La propuesta aquí plasmada, fue realizada con base en los insumos bibliográficos, el desarrollo de los objetivos y un estudio de campo, el cual se llevó a cabo por medio de encuestas y métodos de observación, ejecutada en la empresa Tracker de Colombia SAS. Con los resultados obtenidos se identifica que es necesario tener una buena estructura de comunicación, sensibilización, capacitación, divulgación, formación y articulación de lo que son y para qué sirven las NIIF en la organización, con el fin de establecer el direccionamiento para que Tracker de Colombia S.A.S, logre la implementación de las Normas Internacionales de la Información Financieras (NIIF) de una manera eficiente y eficaz.The present monograph intends to make a proposal for the implementation of international financial reporting standards IFRS in the Colombian company "Tracker de Colombia S.A.S". it was necessary to realize a bibliographic and thematic study, by which it can be determine the different aspects, criteria and studies regarding IFRS.     Un videojuego para fomentar la ciberseguridad

    A videogame for fostering cybersecurity careers in Schools. This project aims to train teachers and students in cybersecurity. To this end, one objective of the project has been to use an innovative computing environment that combines videogame and scenario-based problem-learning methods with positive female roles as game protagonists representing cybersecurity experts. Specifically, an interactive digital game has been designed that allows students to face different challenges in different scenarios and with different teams.The gameplay is designed to span between 40 minutes and 1 hour – the duration of a regular school class. The game follows a role-playing game style, where players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting. The main protagonist, a high school girl, is set out to solve a variety of cybersecurity-related challenges, native to different cybersecurity career profiles, to help her friends and schoolmates in a set of situations. More information about the video game can be found at the following link: https://www.beacyberpro.eu/game.The game design follows a model based on methodologies such as Sternberg's model and Freytag's triangle. Sternberg's model aims to develop expert knowledge by identifying appropriate game "loops" to develop intrinsically challenging but achievable game-based learning activities, engaging learners through gradually increasing levels of difficulty. Freytag's triangle, for its part, uses narrative tension as a means of ensuring consistent and appropriate iterations of challenge and continuous feedback within the game.To understand the impact of the students' experience with the video game, a 13-question questionnaire was carried out among a total of 60 students at the JOYFE school in Madrid. The results indicate that after playing the game, 75% of the students felt that it helped them to understand why cybersecurity is important, followed by 61.1% who indicated that they felt safer on the Internet.Other noteworthy results are that students rated the game with 4.08 out of 5 (in the question whether they liked it or not), found it easy to use (4.31 out of 5) and that it kept them interested throughout (4.22 out of 5). One of the best rated aspects of the platform is the ease of use (4.54 out of 5) and the navigation through the platform and course material without teacher assistance (4.51 out of 5).In conclusion, the results obtained after using the game were good, but it should be noted that 22% indicated that they did learn something about gender issues in the world of cybersecurity.
