Coherent Production of Pairs of Parabosons of Order 2
A parameter-free statistical model is used to study multiplicity signatures
for coherent production of charged-pairs of parabosons of order p=2 in
comparison with those arising in the case of ordinary bosons, p=1. Two
non-negative real parameters arise because "ab" and "ba" are fundamentally
distinct pair operators of charge "+1", A-quanta and charge "-1", B-quanta
parabosons. In 3D plots of P(q)_m = "The probability of m paraboson
charged-pairs and q positive parabosons" versus and , the p=1
curve is found to lie on the relatively narrow 2D p=2 surface.Comment: 25 pages, 16 figures, no macro
Independent Loop Invariants for 2+1 Gravity
We identify an explicit set of complete and independent Wilson loop
invariants for 2+1 gravity on a three-manifold , with
a compact oriented Riemann surface of arbitrary genus . In the
derivation we make use of a global cross section of the -principal
bundle over Teichm\"uller space given in terms of Fenchel-Nielsen coordinates.Comment: 11pp, 2 figures (postscript, compressed and uu-encoded), TeX,

J/psi production in association with a charm-quark pair at the Tevatron
I study the direct hadroproduction of J\psi associated with a charm-quark
pair at leading order in alpha_S and v in NRQCD. This process provides an
interesting signature that could be studied at the Tevatron. I consider both
colour-singlet and colour-octet transitions. I compare our results to the
fragmentation approximation and discuss the associated experimental signatures.
