Characteristics of women with a diagnosis of pelvic inflammatory disease at lircay hospital, Huancavelica

La investigación titulada “Características de las mujeres con diagnóstico de Enfermedad pélvica inflamatoria del Hospital de Lircay, Huancavelica de junio 2018 a junio 2019”, tuvo como objetivo: Determinar las características de las mujeres con diagnóstico de EPI. Metodología: Tipo, nivel y método descriptivo simple. Población: conformada por 133 mujeres. Se aplicó una ficha de recolección de datos. Resultados: Del total de pacientes atendidas; tienen de 19 a 29 años 41,4%; nivel de instrucción secundaria 48,1%; estado civil conviviente el 37,6%; ocupación ama de casa 58,7%; con 1 a 2 hijos 55,6%; iniciaron su actividad sexual antes de 18 años 65,4%; tienen de 1-2 parejas sexuales 91%; tienen patología previa ITS 62,4%; tienen como MAC inyectable 28,6%; tienen como signos y síntomas dolor en hipogastrio 90,2%; el tipo de EPI, tipo I 90,9%, tienen manejo farmacológico 96,9%; Conclusiones: Las características de las pacientes con EPI son: tienen entre 18-29 años, grado de instrucción secundaria, son conviviente y amas de casa; tienen de 1 a 2 hijos; el inicio de relaciones sexuales son antes de los 18 años, tienen de 1-2 parejas sexuales, ITS como patología previa, MAC inyectable y presentan dolor en hipogastrio; EPI tipo I que en la mayoría recibe tratamiento farmacológico.The research entitled "Characteristics of women diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease at Hospital de Lircay, Huancavelica from June 2018 to June 2019", aimed to: Determine the characteristics of women diagnosed with PID. Results: Of the total number of patients attended; 41.4% are between 19 and 29 years old; secondary education level 48.1%; cohabiting marital status 37.6%; housewife occupation 58.7%; with 1 to 2 children 55.6%; started their sexual activity before the age of 18 65.4%; 91% have 1-2 sexual partners; 62.4% have previous STI pathology; they have 28.6% as injectable CM; 90.2% have hypogastric pain as signs and symptoms; the type of PID, type I 90.9%, had pharmacological management 96.9%; Conclusions: The characteristics of the patients with PID were; They are between 18-29 years old, grade of secondary education, they are cohabiting and housewives; they had 1 to 2 children; initiation of sexual intercourse before 18 years of age, they had 1-2 sexual partners, STI as a previous pathology, injectable CM and presented pain in the hypogastric; Type I PID, most of which received pharmacological treatment
