[ENG] Films of poly-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (PEDOT) perchlorate used as electrodes in liquid electrolytes incorporate anions and solvent during oxidation for charge and osmotic balance: the film swells. During reduction the film shrinks, closes its structure trapping counterions getting then rising conformational packed states by expulsion of counterions and solvent. Here by potential step from the same reduced initial state to the same oxidized final state the rate coefficient, the activation energy and reaction orders related to the counterion concentration in solution and to the concentration of active centers in the polymer film, were attained following the usual methodology used for chemical and electrochemical kinetics. Now the full methodology was repeated using different reduced-shrunk or reduced-conformational compacted initial states every time. Those initial states were attained by reduction of the oxidized film at rising cathodic potentials for the same reduction time each. Rising reduced and conformational compacted states give slower subsequent oxidation rates by potential step to the same anodic potential every time. The activation energy, the reaction coefficient and reaction orders change for rising conformational compacted initial states. Decreasing rate constants and increasing activation energies are obtained for the PEDOT oxidation from increasing conformational compacted initial states. The experimental activation energy presents two linear ranges as a function of the initial reduced-compacted state. Using as initial states for the oxidation open structures attained by reduction at low cathodic potentials, activation energies attained were constant: namely the chemical activation energy. Using as initial states for the oxidation deeper reduced, closed and packed conformational structures, the activation energy includes two components: the constant chemical energy plus the conformational energy required to relax the conformational structure generating free volume which allows the entrance of the balancing counterions required for the reaction. The conformational energy increases linearly as a function of the reduction-compaction potential. The kinetic magnitudes include conformational and structural information.
Since the 90's until today, Unesco has introduced three programs related to

Psychometric Assessment of the European Health Literacy Survey Questionnaire (HLS-EU-Q16) for Arabic/French-Speaking Migrants in Southern Europe
Improving health literacy (HL) is critical for addressing health inequalities. Low literacy rates are believed to be more prevalent in ethnic minorities, which may have an impact on people's health. For measures to be implemented in this regard, HL must be evaluated to obtain specific indicators. Our aim, therefore, was to develop a version of the European Health Literacy Survey Questionnaire (HLS-EU-Q16), which is recommended to be used with vulnerable populations, suited to Arabic/French-speaking migrants who reside in south-eastern Spain, and to explore its psychometric properties for assessing health literacy in this population. A cross-sectional survey was carried out in a convenient sample of 205 migrants. The structural validity was calculated by a confirmatory factorial analysis (CFA), which suggested appropriate adjustment indicators, and which indicated that the three-dimensional model is adequately adjusted to the data obtained in the study. The coefficient omega showed high internal consistency in the three HL dimensions (health care, disease prevention, and health promotion). Concurrent validity presented a significant correlation with the Newest Vital Sign test (r = 0.390; p < 0.001). The multigroup CFA showed that the heterogeneity of the sample used was not a problem for establishing the structural validity of the scale. The Arabic/French version showed good construct validity
Sales Prediction through Neural Networks for a Small Dataset
Sales forecasting allows firms to plan their production outputs, which contributes to optimizing firms' inventory management via a cost reduction. However, not all firms have the same capacity to store all the necessary information through time. So, time-series with a short length are common within industries, and problems arise due to small time series does not fully capture sales' behavior. In this paper, we show the applicability of neural networks in a case where a company reports a short time-series given the changes in its warehouse structure. Given the neural networks independence form statistical assumptions, we use a multilayer-perceptron to get the sales forecasting of this enterprise. We find that learning rates variations do not significantly increase the computing time, and the validation fails with an error minor to five percent
aspectos. The personal characteristics of entrepreneurs condition the activity and results of small
and medium-sized enterprises at the micro level determining, together with other factors
(organizational, economic and environmental), their entrepreneurial quality. In turn, the
entrepreneurial quality in a specific geographical area determines the ability of the
businesses to drive growth and economic development in the territory.
Therefore, it is of great interest to deepen the study of personal characteristics of the
entrepreneurs running SMEs in the tourism sector, a key sector in the Spanish economy
in which the presence of SMEs is overwhelming.
This paper presents some empirical results obtained from the database of the Research
Project "Tourism SMEs, Global Value Chains and Innovation" (ECO2013-42889-P). As
part of this project, a survey of 1,119 Spanish tourism SMEs was conducted from which
representative samples of the three main tourist activities -hotels, tourist mediation and
restoration- were obtained. This work provides a personal profile of entrepreneurs
running tourism SMEs in relation to aspects such as their education level and previous
experience, motivations, entrepreneurial attitudes and orientation, among others.Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica y Técnica e Innovación) ECO2013-42889-
Unifocal orofacial granulomatosis in retromolar mucosa:surgical treatment with Er,Cr:YSGG laser
Orofacial granulomatosis is defined by permanent or recurrent swelling of orofacial tissues with different multiform
and multifocal clinical patterns. An 11-year old boy presented with a 2-month history of mucosa enlargement.
Intraoral examination revealed an erythematous, polylobulated, exophytic lesion with a smooth surface located in
retromolar mucosa, non-tender and non-infiltratated to palpation. The diagnosis was inflammatory lesion compatible
with pyogenic granuloma and laser excision was decided. Haematological parameters were within normal range,
as well as chest Xrays. These findings lead to a diagnosis of non-symptomatic orofacial granulomatosis, whose
early diagnosis can minimize the impact of systemic-related disorders, like Chron's disease
Dysfunctional ways of thinking and coping with caregiving have been associated with worse caregivers’ cardiovascular health. The objective of this study is to analyze the associations between caregivers’ knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease, dysfunctional thoughts, experiential avoidance, and blood pressure. Participants were 123 family caregivers of a relative with dementia. Path analysis was used to analyze the association between the assessed variables. The obtained model shows that there is a significant and negative relationship between caregivers’ knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease and systolic blood pressure, potentially mediated by caregivers’ dysfunctional thoughts and experiential avoidance. The findings of this study provide support to the idea that a lack of knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease may contribute to maladaptive ways of thinking about caregiving, increasing caregivers’ cardiovascular risk.
acerca del cuidado, incrementando el riesgo cardiovascular de los cuidadoresThe preparation of this paper was supported in part by grants from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness under grants PSI2012-31239 and PSI2015-

Copper-Catalyzed Dehydrogenative Amidation of Light Alkanes
The functionalization of C-H bonds in light alkanes, particularly to form C-N bonds, remains a challenge. We report the dehydrogenative coupling of amides with C1–C4 hydrocarbons to form N-alkyl amide products with tBuOOtBu as oxidant, and a copper complex of a phenanthroline-type ligand as catalyst. The reactions occurred in good yields in benzene or supercritical carbon dioxide as solvents. This strategy allowed for the determination of the relative reactivity of these alkane C-H bonds toward this amination process and showed, in contrast to prior work with larger alkanes, that the reactivity correlated with bond dissociation energies.Support for this work was provided by the MINECO
