    Peningkatan Keaktifan Belajar IPA Dengan Menggunakan Strategi Make – A Match Di Kelas V SD N Pekuwon Juwana Pati Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014

    Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPA pada siswa kelas V SD N Pekuwon Kecamatan Juwana Kabupaten Pati Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 dengan menggunakan strategi Make A Match, subjek penelitian yaitu: siswa kelas V SD Negeri Pekuwon, Kecamatan Juwana, Kabupaten Pati sebanyak 49 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah keaktifan belajar, IPA dan Strategi Make a Match. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui observasi, post test, wawancara, dokumnetasi, dan angket. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap: identifikasi masalah, persiapan, penyusunan rencana tindakan, implementasi tindakan, pengamatan dan evaluasi. Proses penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi dengan menggunakan strategi Make a Match. Teknik Analisis Data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA. Adapun peningkatannya dapat dilihat dari prosentase keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dari siklus I sampai siklus III. Pada siklus I prosentase keaktifan belajar siswa sebesar 70% pada siklus II sebesar 86% dan siklus III sebesar 100%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa dengan melalui strategi Make A Match dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPA

    Effects of Male Parents on Pod and Bean Components of Six Fine Cocoa Siblings

    In cacao crossing process, the genetic symptoms of direct effect of male parent as a pollen source on pod and beans performances generated from their crossing are called as the xenia effect. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of male parents on characters of pod and bean components generated from the crossing of several genotypes of fine cacao. The research was conducted at Kalikempit Afdeling of PTPN XII, Tulungrejo Village, Glenmore District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province, at an altitude of 340 m asl, Latosol type of soil, and C type of climate, from May until December 2014. Crossing combinations were (1) DR 38 x DR 1, (2) DR 38 x DR 38, (3) DR 2 x DR 1, (4) DR 2 x DR 2, (5) DRC 16 x DR 38, and (6) DRC 16 x DRC 16. Variables observed were the quantitative and qualitative characters of pod and bean component. The results showed that male parent DR 1 crossed with female parent DR 2 contributed in increasing fresh bean weight (34.70%), fresh bean/pod weight (44.32%), fresh single bean weight (31.00%), pod apex and base constriction shapes. Meanwhile DR 38 crossed with DRC 16 showed xenia effect on fresh bean weight (47.01%), bean (31.22%), and qualitative characters i.e. the colour of mature pod and the availability of bottle neck. All of crossing combinations produced white colour beans above 85% thus qualified as good. DR 2 and DR 38 are potential male parents to enhance the number of white bean

    Aktivitas maintenance pesawat terbang pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjamin kehandalan sistem operasional tanpa adanya kerusakan komponen atau kegagalan sistem, juga mempertahankan komponen-komponen pesawat dan perlengkapan lainnya dalam keadaan laik udara (airworthy). Salah satu sistem yang sering mengalami maslah pada saat operasional adalah sistem Starter Valve Part Number 3289630-2 pada boeing 737 next generation, permasalahan tersebut antara lain stuck late, respond, leak, light ill, electrical problem, eroded, low pressure solenoid orifice. Analisis dilakukan dengan 2 cara yaitu analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif, analisis kualitatif menggunakan metode FMECA (failure mode effect and critical analysis) dan FTA (fault tree analysis) untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab kegagalan dan menganalisis efek dan kondisi kritis penebab kegagalan, sedangkan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan metode reliability dengan perhitungan menggunakan distribusi Weibull sehingga dapat di ketahui batas kritis waktu operasional pesawat, pada ahirnaya dapat direncanakan schedule maintenance dan cara perawatan (desain maintenance) yang effective berdasarkan kerusakan dan kegagalan sistem starter valve. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa top even reason of removal disebabkan karena starter valve stuck yang memiliki nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) sebesar 180. Sementara itu effective schedule maintenance untuk sistem kerja mechanical part dapat dilaksanakan setelah mencapai 901 jam operasional dengan nilai reliability 74,50%, electrical system setelah mencapai 1001 jam operasional dengan nilai reliability 72,72%,  dan Pneumatic actuator system setelah mencapai 4801 jam operasional dengan nilai reliability 78,66%

    This study has the objective to improve learning outcomes javelin with a throw of learning media turbo in class V students of State Elementary School 19 Serirang Sekadau . Forms of research is classroom action research ( PTK ) . Subjects in this study were fifth grade students of State Elementary School 19 Serirang Sekadau . The total number of male students in class V are as many as 17 students , consisting of 10 boys and 7 female student . Based on the results of the study concluded that in the first cycle are the result of the thoroughness with the number of 11 students or 65% , and students who have not completed amounted to 6 students , or by 35 % . While the second cycle there is a category of student outcomes to complete all the graduating students were 17 students or equal to 100 % and unresolved amounted to 0 or does not exist

    On the Sound Absorption Improvement of Water Hyacinth and Coconut Husk based Fiber Reinforced Polymer Panel

    This paper emphasizes on the sound absorption improvement of the water hyacinth and coconut husk based fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) panel. The dry water hyacinth and coconut husk were milled and sieved before it mixed with polyester and methyl ethyl ketone peroxide as the catalyst. The composition is 200 ml, 25 grams, and 20 ml for the polyester, fiber, and catalyst respectively. The mixture casting is by using a square tray to form a flat FRP panel through open air drying without any compaction process. Three different approaches i.e. multiple quarter wavelength resonators, air cavity, and front fibrous layer inclusion are implemented to the FRP to improve its sound absorption performance. The entire measurements conducted by using transfer function based impedance tube technique refer to ASTM E-1050-98 standard. B&K 4206. It found that the proposed approaches are increase sound absorption coefficient of the bulk FRP significantly. The best performance occurred on the coconut husk based FRP when the 8 of quarter wavelength resonators combined with the fibrous layer. Sound absorption increased accordingly to above of 0.7 starting from 1.5 kHz. On the other side, the air cavity shows similar influence on the entire test sample due to Helmholtz resonance mechanis

    UJI EFEK ANALGESIK EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN KEJI BELING (Strobilanthes crispus L) PADA TIKUS PUTIH GALUR WISTAR (Rattus norvegicus)

    ABSTRACT Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience due to tissue damage both actual and potential. Analgesics are a drug used to relieve pain without losing consciousness. Keji beling leaves (Strobilanthes crispus L) contain glycosidic ester compounds from caffeic acid, which have analgesic effects. This study aims to determine whether there is an analgesic effect on the ethanol extract of keji beling leaves with different doses, namely dose 0.0023g / 200gBW, 0.0047g / 200gBW, and 0.0094g / 200gBW in test animals of wistar strain male rats. This study uses a laboratory experimental research design using wistar strain male white rat as a test animal. The analgesic effect test was carried out by the heat stimulation method using a 53 °C water bath. The rat response was observed in the form of movements of licking the hind legs or jumping from before giving test material and after giving test material at 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes, respectively. From the results of statistical data analysis with One Way Anova and LSD showed that the extracts keji beling leaves has an analgesic effect. Where among those three doses the best dose was 0.0023g / 200gBW. Keywords: Analgesic, anova, keji beling leaves, white male wistar rats. ABSTRAK Rasa nyeri merupakan pengalaman sensorik dan emosional yang tidak menyenangkan akibat kerusakan jaringan baik aktual maupun potensial. Analgesik ialah suatu obat yang digunakan untuk menghilangkan rasa sakit tanpa menghilangkan kesadaran. Daun keji beling (Strobilanthes crispus  L) mengandung senyawa glikosidik ester dari asam caffeic yang memiliki efek analgesik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya efek analgesik pada ekstrak etanol daun keji beling dengan dosis berbeda-beda yaitu dosis 0,0023g/200gBB, 0,0047g/200gBB, dan 0,0094g/200gBB pada hewan uji tikus putih jantan galur wistar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium dengan menggunakan hewan uji tikus putih jantan galur wistar. Pengujian efek analgesik dilakukan dengan metode rangsangan panas menggunakan waterbath suhu 53°C. Respon tikus diamati berupa gerakan menjilat kaki belakang atau melompat dari sebelum pemberian bahan uji dan sesudah pemberian bahan uji  berturut-turut pada menit ke 30, 60, 90 dan 120. Dari hasil analisis data secara statistika dengan One Way Anova dan LSD menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun keji beling memiliki efek analgesik.     Aktivitas Penangkal Radikal Hidroksil Fraksi Flavonoid Dari Limbah Tongkol Jagung Pada Tikus Wistar

    Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk menentukan kemampuan menangkal radikal hidroksil pada homogenat hati, jantung dan otak tikus wistar dari fraksi flavonoid limbah tongkol jagung. Penelitian dimulai dengan mengekstraksi serbuk tongkol jagung yang sudah dikering anginkan menggunakan cara refluks selama dua jam dengan pelarut etanol 80%. Ekstrak kemudian dipartisi berturut-turut menggunakan petroleum eter, etil asetat, n-butanol dan air, selanjutnya ditentukan kandungan total flavonoid serta aktivitas penangkal radikal hidroksil pada homogenat jaringan hati, jantung dan otak tikus wistar. Hasilnya menunjukkan ekstrak etil asetat yang memiliki kandungan total flavonoid yang paling tinggi yaitu 41,926 mg/kg ekstrak, serta kemampuan menangkal radikal hidroksil pada homogenat jaringan hati, jantung dan otak tikus wistar sebesar 90,964%; 86,875% dan 68,235%.This research has been conducted to determine radical hydroxyl scavenging ability on a wistar rat tissue homogenate of liver, heart and brain from corn cob waste extract. Research started with with extracting the powder of corn cob which had been air-dried using reflux method during two hours with 80% ethanol solvent. Then the extract successively partitioned with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, n-buthanol and water, next determined the flavonoid total content with activities of hydroxyl radical on a wistar rat tissue homogenate. The result showed ethyl acetate extract which has good result for flavonoid total content that is 41,926 mg/kg extract, with ability of free radical scavenger on a rat tissue homogenate of liver, heart and brain as much as 90,964%; 86,875% and 68,235%
