Le mécénat d'entreprise comme révélateur et catalyseur de la conscience organisationnelle

Développement durable, responsabilité sociale, principe de précaution ou encore comité d'éthique, autant de phénomènes qui montrent que l'entreprise se doit d'être responsable, en mesure de répondre de ses actions. Mais comment l'entreprise pourrait-elle assumer ses responsabilités sans être dotée d'une conscience ? Si conscience elle a, quelles formes prend-t-elle et comment fonctionne-t-elle ? Nous tenterons de répondre à ces questions en mobilisant la notion de conscience organisationnelle que nous définirons comme la capacité d'une entreprise à percevoir son existence sociale et à juger éthiquement de l'impact de ses actions. Nous verrons que cette conscience organisationnelle n'est pas homogène. De trois natures principales - mercantile, sociale et morale - elle évolue au gré des entreprises et du temps. Loin d'être insaisissable, la conscience organisationnelle peut s'appréhender par une analyse des pratiques de mécénat. Une étude distanciée de ces pratiques permet de révéler la nature de cette conscience et d'envisager des actions stratégiques pour en faire le catalyseur. Selon cette perspective, le mécénat a une importance majeure, non pas seulement pour les solutions qu'il apporte directement de par ses activités de financement ou de bénévolat, mais aussi par son rôle structurant sur la capacité des entreprises à appréhender leur responsabilité

Supersymmetry and the Odd Poisson Bracket

Some applications of the odd Poisson bracket developed by Kharkov's theorists are represented, including the reformulation of classical Hamiltonian dynamics, the description of hydrodynamics as a Hamilton system by means of the odd bracket and the dynamics formulation with the Grassmann-odd Lagrangian. Quantum representations of the odd bracket are also constructed and applied for the quantization of classical systems based on the odd bracket and for the realization of the idea of a composite spinor structure of space-time. At last, the linear odd bracket, corresponding to a semi-simple Lie group, is introduced on the Grassmann algebra.Comment: 17 pages, LATEX 2e. A Preliminary Study For A Biomechanical Model Of The Respiratory System

Engineering and Computational Sciences for Medical Imaging in Oncology - ECSMIO is the special session 1 of International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications - VISAPP 2010International audienceTumour motion is an essential source of error for treatment planning in radiation therapy. This motion is mostly due to patient respiration. To account for tumour motion, we propose a solution that is based on the biomechanical modelling of the respiratory system. To compute deformations and displacements, we use continuous mechanics laws solved with the finite element method. In this paper, we propose a preliminary study of a complete model of the respiratory system including lungs, chest wall and a simple model of the diaphragm. This feasibility study is achieved by using the data of a "virtual patient". Results are in accordance with the anatomic reality, showing the feasibility of a complete model of the respiratory system

Exterior Differentials in Superspace and Poisson Brackets

It is shown that two definitions for an exterior differential in superspace, giving the same exterior calculus, yet lead to different results when applied to the Poisson bracket. A prescription for the transition with the help of these exterior differentials from the given Poisson bracket of definite Grassmann parity to another bracket is introduced. It is also indicated that the resulting bracket leads to generalization of the Schouten-Nijenhuis bracket for the cases of superspace and brackets of diverse Grassmann parities. It is shown that in the case of the Grassmann-odd exterior differential the resulting bracket is the bracket given on exterior forms. The above-mentioned transition with the use of the odd exterior differential applied to the linear even/odd Poisson brackets, that correspond to semi-simple Lie groups, results, respectively, in also linear odd/even brackets which are naturally connected with the Lie superalgebra. This thesis compares the rules of jurisdiction applicable to multinational corporations within two legal systems. The Anglo-American system favors forum non conveniens, whereas, the European applies European Regulation (EC) No. 44/2001.
