An Optimisation Model for the Marketing Programmes of Companies

    No full text
The article describes the current situation in forming the marketing programmes of companies – an increase in the extent of organisation marketing dictates the need for applying optimisation methods. However, the existing methodological potential for optimising marketing programmes is unfortunate, and therefore not ready to be applied in practice as necessary. Based on a systematic approach, the optimisation of a marketing programme in paper is treated as a complex of three partial problems inter-related at the parametric level. These problems are the formation of an optimal marketing programme, measuring return on and marketing costs. In order to compose optimal marketing programmes, the integer programming method has been used providing its formalised description in the paper. For measuring return on marketing and marketing costs, the algorithms have been proposed. The first one is based on correlation regression analysis and the second one – on the application of calculation principles. The paper provides the synthesis of the results of the proposed optimisation model for the marketing programme optimisation based on experimental modelling applying a case of a commercial bank

This paper examines the problem of supplier selection. The supplier selection process has been expressed as decision cycle, which involves such phases: searching for suppliers, preliminary selection, complex evaluation, negotiations, preparing a contract, monitoring. The present situation in this field has been described in such a way: large interest to increase validity of decisions for supplier selection from side of business practice, diversity of methods and models for supplier selection suggested by researchers, the episodic character of putting into practice this methodical potential. In order to improve such a situation, we see a need to develop the medium of intelligent support for supplier selection decisions. The suggested variant of integrated decisions intelligent support system is provided. The components of expert judgment support, individual decision support, group decision support and negotiations support have been incorporated into proposed system. The content and process of decisions support have been specified in accordance with character of every phase of supplier selection cycle

Neabejojame, kad verslas neįmanomas be sistemingo, nuolatinio kūrybiškumo plėtojimo, o kūrybiškumas neįmanomas be inovatyvių žinių supratimo ir valdymo

RESEARCH ON THE DYNAMICS OF LITHUANIAN STATE REVENUE AND PREFERENCES FOR EXPENDITURE ALLOCATION

The article analyses revenue and expenditure on the national budget of Lithuania and looks at their dynamics and structure. First, the paper is aimed at naming the main sources of revenue as well as the preferential areas of financing. Second, it is also sought to disclose the objective principles of allocating budget appropriation. To achieve the goal, the correlation between preferences in government activity and expenditure allocation was investigated. The conducted research employs ranging and correlational analysis. Since the formation of a bigger budget leads to an increased appropriation of all functional areas, structural data were analysed thus enabling to more soundly determine whether the distinction of a functional area, as the preferential one, has an influence on its greater significance in the overall system of the national budget. After making the study, no possibility of asserting that a distinction of the preferential functional area is related to its preferential financing exists. In order to summarize the obtained results, it could be claimed that the allocation of resources accumulated by the state would be more substantiated if we related it more with activity priorities of the Government. This would lead to higher objectivity when taking decisions on public administration
