Veszélyben a jövő: a neurológusszakorvos-képzés és szakorvos-utánpótlás helyzetének áttekintése – 2010 = Future endangered: education and replacement of specialists in neurology – a survey, 2010
A neurolĂłgusszakorvos-hiány egyre nyilvánvalĂłbb problĂ©mává válik, nemcsak a kis kĂłrházakban, hanem a sĂşlyponti intĂ©zmĂ©nyekben Ă©s az egyetemi klinikákon is. A jelenlegi felmĂ©rĂ©s cĂ©lja a neurolĂłgus szakorvosok jelenlegi számának áttekintĂ©se, valamint a következĹ‘ Ă©vtizedben várhatĂł szakmai utánpĂłtlás becslĂ©se. MűködĂ©si engedĂ©llyel 2010 elejĂ©n Magyarországon 1310 neurolĂłgus rendelkezik. Az Országos EgĂ©szsĂ©gbiztosĂtási PĂ©nztár számára neurolĂłgiai tevĂ©kenysĂ©get 2009 során legalább 1 alkalommal 948 szakorvos jelentett. A rutin-betegellátásban tĂ©nylegesen elsĹ‘sorban neurolĂłgiai terĂĽleten dolgozĂłk száma 750 körĂĽli. A neurolĂłgusok Ă©letkori megoszlására jellemzĹ‘ a fiatal korosztály jelentĹ‘s hiánya. Az ország 9 megyĂ©jĂ©ben legfeljebb egy 35 Ă©v alatti neurolĂłgus dolgozik. A 2000–2009 közötti tĂzĂ©ves idĹ‘szakban, Ă©ves átlagban 22 Ăşj szakorvos lĂ©pett a rendszerbe. Ez a szám kevĂ©s a kĂĽlföldre távozĂł Ă©s a betegellátásbĂłl egyĂ©b okbĂłl kilĂ©pĹ‘ neurolĂłgus szakorvosok pĂłtlására. A 40–60 Ă©v közötti neurolĂłgusok száma a jelenlegi kormegoszlás alapján 2020-ra akkor is a jelenlegi Ă©rtĂ©k kĂ©tharmada alá csökken, ha teljesen megszűnne a kĂĽlföldi munkavállalás.

Lack of neurologists has become an obvious problem in Hungary recently, not only in small hospitals, but also in major health care centers and university hospitals. With the current survey we set forth to estimate the number of board certified neurologists and to evaluate the foreseeable changes in the next decade. In the beginning of 2010 there were 1310 physicians in Hungary with an official license to practice neurology. During 2009, neurological performance at least once during the year was claimed to the National Health Insurance Fund by 948 board certified neurologists. The number of those neurologists who are routinely involved in neurological patient care was estimated to be around 750. The lack of the young generation is characteristic for the age distribution of neurologists. In 9 out of the 19 counties of Hungary, the number of neurologists below the age of 35 is 1 or zero. In the ten-year period of 2000–2009, the annual mean number of new board certifications in neurology was 22. This number is much lower than that needed to replace those who get employed abroad and who leave the system for other reasons. The number of neurologists in the age range of 40–60 years will drop to 2/3 of the current number by 2020 even if emigration of neurologists will completely halt. If emigration will continue at the current rate and the number of those in neurological training will not increase considerably, then by 2020 only about 300 neurologists will have to cover neurological services throughout Hungary. As this number is insufficient for the task, and the tendency is clearly foreseeable, the health care government should urgently react to this situation to ensure an acceptable level of neurological services in the near future for the population of Hungary
A prokalcitonin biológiai szerepének és klinikai jelentőségének vizsgálata bakteriális és gombás fertőzésekben: a prokalcitonin termelődésének bioregulációja = Biological role and clinical importance of procalcitonin in bacterial and fungal infections: bioregulation of procalcitonin production
Prokalcitonin (PCT) vizsgálatok dializált krĂłnikus urĂ©miás betegekben Ă©s PCT mRNS expressziĂłja szepszises gyermekek torok Ă©s mellűri váladĂ©kában Az urĂ©mia Ă©s hemodialĂzis (HD) alatti krĂłnikus szisztĂ©más gyulladásos tĂĽneteknek a sĂĽllyedĂ©s, C-reaktĂv protein (CRP) nem specifikus markere. 115 hemodializált betegĂĽnkbĹ‘l 25-nek volt szepszise. A szĂ©rum PCT szinteket vizsgálva a HD elötti enyhĂ©n emelkedett Ă©rtĂ©ket a HD szignifikánsan nem befolyásolta. A szisztĂ©más bakteriális infekciĂł urĂ©miásokban azonban szignifikáns (>12x, p12 times, p<0.001) the serum PCT levels of the affected patients and the sensitivity of PCT method was better, the specificity was the same comparing to CRP method. Analysing the PCT mRNA expression in throat lavage, phlegm, bronchial secretion of 8 septic patients with quantitative real time PCR, the mRNA was not expressed in time of analysis, although we could detect the expression of a house-keeping gene used as control. The probable explanation: the transitory type of mononuclear cells PCT mRNA expression, which lasts about 3-4 hours after their adherence to epithelium. However, the inflammatory markers generated by these cells could lead to definitely increased PCT production in the other tissues
Examination of the human remains from the medieval cemetery of Bátmonostor-Pusztafalu in Hungary
This paper summarizes the results of the physical anthropological examinations carried out on the remains of 3783 individuals from the medieval cemetery of Bátmonostor- Pusztafalu in Hungary. Distributions of sex and age at death are described along with the observations made concerning anatomical variations, developmental anomalies, pathological alterations and taxonomic features. This study is the shorter version of a more detailed paper to be published in Opuscula Hungáriáé
