Are RRab stars fully radial?
Thanks to the space missions CoRoT and Kepler new oscillation frequencies
have been discovered in the Fourier spectra of Blazhko RR Lyrae stars. The
period doubling (PD) yields half-integer frequencies between the fundamental
mode and its harmonics. In many cases the first and/or second radial overtone
frequencies also appear temporally. Some stars show extra frequencies that were
identified as potential non-radial modes. We show here that all these
frequencies can be explained by pure radial pulsation as linear combinations of

Property management of some agricultural companies in south great plain region
As it is a well-known fact, the capital requirement of agriculture is high. In addition, its suitability for quick change of activity is significantly limited. The share of agriculture in total investment was remarkably smaller than its contribution to gross domestic product, especially in the nineties. According to a study of Central Statistical Office in 2008 the value of the cancelled investments approaches 129 million Euros from which almost 80% is the loss of the three dominantly agricultural regions (South Great Plain, North Great Plain, and South Transdanubia). Due to the cancelled developments the technical level of agricultural property did not improve significantly contributing to the decrease of the economic significance of the sector. Moreover, the usage of outdated machines and equipment reduces the competitiveness of agriculture. During the investigation 265 questionnaires were filled in mostly by large-scale agricultural companies in South Great Plain and some of them were interviewed as well. The examination of existing capacities and technologies showed that 60% of the firms have a medium-term plan and 70% of them have an investment plan. This is extremely positive, although most of the investments are based on loans and subsidies. This kind of attitude indicates a certain level of ability for taking risk. In most of the cases the examined investment means technology improvement as well, machinery and building investments were carried out characteristically from subsidies. Developing their own breeds and innovation are generally not typical in the sector, but according to our data their proportion has been increasing. It is interesting that there is not any significant difference between small-scale and largescale enterprises in connection with innovation activity that is smaller firms at least as innovative as bigger ones
Similar additional frequency patterns on fundamental and overtone mode RR Lyrae stars showing frequencies
Up to now, it seemed that the additional frequencies in the fundamental mode
(RRab) and in the overtone mode pulsating (RRc and RRd) RR Lyrae stars have
different nature. RRab stars show frequencies associated with periodic
doubling, as well as frequencies at the first and second radial overtones, and
linear combinations of these. RRc stars show frequencies with specific ratios
(0.61, or 0.63) which are explained by non-radial modes and
frequencies with ratio which have no currently accepted
explanation. To search for similarities in spectral content, we compared the
Fourier spectra of the recently published TESS and K2 data of RRc stars with
the spectra of Kepler RRab stars that do not show the Blazhko effect but
contain additional frequencies. The time series data have been analysed using
standard Fourier methods, and the possibility of the excitation of the second
radial overtone mode in RRab stars has also been tested using numerical
hydrodynamical codes. We show that the additional frequencies appear in
non-Blazhko RRab stars at the position of the second radial overtone mode, and
the pattern they create, is very similar to that caused by the additional
frequencies with the period ratio in RRc stars. The former
explanation of the additional frequencies of these RRab stars by a second
