A model to assess customer alignment through customer experience concepts
Business and Information Technology Alignment (BITA) has been one of the main
concerns of IT and Business executives and directors due to its importance to
overall company performance, especially today in the age of digital
transformation. For BITA has been developed several models which in general has
focused in the implementation of alignment strategies for the internal
operation of the organizations and in the measurement of this internal
alignment, but, there is still a big gap in measurement models of the alignment
with the external environment of the organizations. In this paper is presented
the design and application of a maturity measurement model for BITA with the
customers, where the customers are actors of the external environment of the
companies. The proposed model involves evaluation criteria and business
practices which the companies ideally do for improve the relationship with

Stochastic B-series and order conditions for exponential integrators
We discuss stochastic differential equations with a stiff linear part and
their approximation by stochastic exponential integrators. Representing the
exact and approximate solutions using B-series and rooted trees, we derive the
order conditions for stochastic exponential integrators. The resulting general
order theory covers both It\^{o} and Stratonovich integration
Establishing comprehensive oral assessments for children with safeguarding concerns.
The dental profession is well placed to contribute important information in child protection cases but no previous research has been reported that assesses the volume or impact of this information. Comprehensive oral assessment clinics were introduced and established as an integral part of comprehensive medical assessments for children with welfare concerns in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. An assessment protocol and standardised paperwork for comprehensive oral assessments were developed to enhance information sharing and patient access to appropriate care. Characterizing Usage Patterns and Service Demand of a Two-Way Car-Sharing System
Urban mobility is directly linked to the demand for communication resources and, clearly, its understanding is useful for better planning of urban and communication systems. However, getting data about urban mobility is still a challenge. In many cases, only a few companies have access to accurate and updated data. In most cases, these data are also privacy sensitive. It is thus important to generate models that can help to understand mobility patterns. We here characterize the demands of a two-way car-sharing system. We explore data of the public API of Modo, a car-sharing system that operates in Vancouver (Canada) and nearby regions. Our study uncovers patterns of usersâ habits and demands in the service, which can be explored for urban and communication planning
Super Weyl invariance: BPS equations from heterotic worldsheets
It is well-known that the beta functions on a string worldsheet correspond to
the target space equations of motion, e.g. the Einstein equations. We show that
the BPS equations, i.e. the conditions of vanishing supersymmetry variations of
the space-time fermions, can be directly derived from the worldsheet. To this
end we consider the RNS-formulation of the heterotic string with (2,0)
supersymmetry, which describes a complex torsion target space that supports a
holomorphic vector bundle. After a detailed account of its quantization and
renormalization, we establish that the cancellation of the Weyl anomaly
combined with (2,0) finiteness implies the heterotic BPS conditions: At the one
loop level the geometry is required to be conformally balanced and the gauge

Non-thermal emission processes in massive binaries
In this paper, I present a general discussion of several astrophysical
processes likely to play a role in the production of non-thermal emission in
massive stars, with emphasis on massive binaries. Even though the discussion
will start in the radio domain where the non-thermal emission was first
detected, the census of physical processes involved in the non-thermal emission
from massive stars shows that many spectral domains are concerned, from the
radio to the very high energies.
First, the theoretical aspects of the non-thermal emission from early-type
stars will be addressed. The main topics that will be discussed are
respectively the physics of individual stellar winds and their interaction in
binary systems, the acceleration of relativistic electrons, the magnetic field
of massive stars, and finally the non-thermal emission processes relevant to
the case of massive stars. Second, this general qualitative discussion will be
followed by a more quantitative one, devoted to the most probable scenario
where non-thermal radio emitters are massive binaries. I will show how several
stellar, wind and orbital parameters can be combined in order to make some
semi-quantitative predictions on the high-energy counterpart to the non-thermal
emission detected in the radio domain.

Extending the rapeseed gene pool with resynthesized Brassica napus II: Heterosis
Hybrid breeding relies on the combination of parents from two differing heterotic groups. However, the genetic diversity in adapted oilseed rape breeding material is rather limited. Therefore, the use of resynthesized Brassica napus as a distant gene pool was investigated. Hybrids were derived from crosses between 44 resynthesized lines with a diverse genetic background and two male sterile winter oilseed rape tester lines. The hybrids were evaluated together with their parents and check cultivars in 2Â years and five locations in Germany. Yield, plant height, seed oil, and protein content were monitored, and genetic distances were estimated with molecular markers (127 polymorphic RFLP fragments). Resynthesized lines varied in yield between 40.9Â dt/ha and 21.5Â dt/ha, or between 85.1 and 44.6% of check cultivar yields. Relative to check cultivars, hybrids varied from 91.6 to 116.6% in yield and from 94.5 to 103.3% in seed oil content. Mid-parent heterosis varied from â3.5 to 47.2% for yield. The genetic distance of parental lines was not significantly correlated with heterosis or hybrid yield. Although resynthesized lines do not meet the elite rapeseed standards, they are a valuable source for hybrid breeding due to their large distance from present breeding material and their high heterosis when combined with European winter oilseed rape
