Dukungan Keluarga dan Self Efikasi terhadap Self Manajemen Penderita Hipertensi

This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and self-efficacy on self-management of hypertension sufferers. This research method is cross-sectional research. The results showed that respondents with high self-efficacy dominantly have good self-management (64.2%). In low self-management, the dominant has less self-management (57.2%). In the excellent category of family support variables, the chief has good self-management (61.1%). The dominant has less self-management (57.1%) with less family support. The chi-square test results show that self-management is related to family support (p-value=0.001), self-efficacy (p-value=0.006). In conclusion, self-management of hypertensive patients tends to increase if the patient gets high family support and self-efficacy.   Keywords: Family Support, Hypertension, Self Efficacy, Self Managemen

Determinan Penyalahgunaan Narkoba pada Pekerja Pengunjung Tempat Hiburan

The figure of drug abuse in Indonesia is increasing every year. It is recorded that the percentage of drug user in Indonesia is 1.5% or 3.2 million people. Based on employment types, most drug users are those working in private sectors and unemployed persons. This study is conducted in order to understand factors related to drug abuse among workers. Design of this study is cross sectional with secondary data from BPS Survey in 2004. Number of sample was 8000 workers visited entertainment places in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, semarang, Yogyakarta, Palembang, Balikpapan, Kendari, Menado, Makassar, Jambi, Bengkulu, Palangkaraya, and Mataram. The results show that there were 26.39% workers was drug users where 14.86% had ever tried to to consume drug and 11.53% had been using drug for around a year. The multinomial logistic regression analysis shows that factors most related to drug abuse among workers who visited night entertainment places are age, latest education, smoking behaviour, income, obedience in fasmily, working load at working place, and marital status. There is interaction between smoking behaviour and obedience in the family. Those with higher risk are younger age, higher education, higher income, low family obedience, high work load, have smoking habit, and not married

Efektivitas KALPIN dan Leaflet dalam Meningkatkan Self-Efficacy Penderita Hipertensi

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of KALPIN (Smart Calendar) and leaflets in increasing self-efficacy in hypertensive patients. The method used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design involving 100 patients undergoing outpatient treatment at the Penyengat Olak Health Center. The results showed that the average value of respondents' self-efficacy before being given intervention in the intervention group was 5.8 with a standard deviation of 4.638, while the average value after being given intervention was 9.89 with a standard deviation of 1.526. Meanwhile, the average self-efficacy before intervention in the control group was 6.37 with a standard deviation of 3.774, while the average value after intervention in the control group was 7.00 with a standard deviation of 3.058. The results of further analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained a p-value of <0.05. In conclusion, there was an increase in the self-efficacy of hypertension sufferers after giving KALPIN education and leaflets. Keywords: Hypertension, KALPIN, Leaflet, Self-Efficac

Because the official data for Private High Schools Students in Medan City in 2022 is difficult to find, sample is taken randomly. So, sample in this study are 100 Private High Schools Students in Medan City. Data analysis technique of this research uses reading and note taking techniques. The research results show that before the COVID-19 pandemic, learning activities are carried out as usual, including Private High Schools in Medan City. Teachers and students usually complete face to face learning activities more frequently. However, since the imposition of social restrictions, school policy states that learning activities are carried out online or based on e-learning. Program edukasi keluarga dan masyarakat desa mitra dalam upaya siaga lansia komorbid pasca covid-19 di desa Danau Kedap

Di era new normal ini, dimana komorbid menjadi sorotan dikarenakan angka kematian penyakit Covid-19 biasanya disertai dengan kondisi komorbid. Pengendalian dan pemutusan mata rantai penularan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan metode yang tepat antara lain dengan 3M (memakai Masker, Mencuci tangan, Menjaga jarak) di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan agar terbentuknya kerjasama mitra antara stakeholder (kepala puskesmas, kepala desa), melaksanakan peningkatan pengetahuan berupa penyuluhan kepada masyarakat dan pelatihan kader serta pemeriksaan kesehatan lansia. merode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dengan memberikan edukasi kesehatan tentang penyakit komorbid pada lansia menggunakan media penyuluhan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan pengetahuan maupun perubahan perilaku masyarakat kearah yang lebih baik
