R.G. Collingwood: Re-interpretation of Metaphysics in contemporary Philosophy.
Bu tezin amacı; çağdaş felsefede Viyana Çevresi düşünürleri ile birlikte "metafizik"in
elenmesi çabalarına karşılık Collingwood'un metafiziği yeniden yorumlama çabasını gözler
önüne sermektir. Collingwood da Çağdaş felsefe ve Viyana Çevresi düşünürleri gibi dogmatik
metafiziği reddetmektedir. Ek olarak Collingwood, Aristoteles'e dönerek gerçek metafiziği
yeniden tesis etmeye girişmiştir. Buna göre metafizik, her türlü bilimsel, entelektüel etkinliğin
dayandığı mutlak ön kabulleri ele alır. Collingwood’a göre mutlak ön kabuller tarihsel olduğu
için; onu sorgulayan etkinliğin de tarihsel olması gerekir. Tarihsel bir etkinlik olarak
metafiziğin yöntemi de soru-yanıt mantığıdır. Bu bağlamda metafizik, soru-yanıt mantığıyla
mutlak ön kabulleri irdeleyen tarihsel bir felsefi etkinliktir. Öte yandan metafizik, disiplinler
arası ilişkinin kurulmasında hayati öneme sahip evrensel bir soruşturmadır. Dolayısıyla,
metafizik, sadece felsefi etkinliğe ait bir soruşturma değil, her türlü etkinliği kapsayan
evrensel bir bilimdir.This thesis is interested in spelling out Collingwood’s attempts to reinterpret
metaphysics against the struggles so as to eliminate “metaphysics together with the thinkers of
Vienna Circle in modern philosophy. Like modern philosophy as well as the thinkers of
Vienna Circle, Collingwood rejects the dogmatic metaphysics as well. Moreover,
Collingwood sets out to re-establish the true metaphysics by returning Aristotle once again.
Metaphysics as such deals with the absolute presuppositions on which any kind of scientific
and intellectual activities are based. For Collingwood, since absolute presuppositions are
historical, the activity that questions it is also supposed to be historical. Now the method of
metaphysics as an historical activity is the logic of questioning and answering. In this sense,
metaphysics, which investigates the absolute presuppositions by the logic of questioning and
answering, is a philosophical and historical activity

Terrorism is a criminal act or extraordinary crime that is of concern to the world today, especially in Indonesia. Terrorism that has occurred in Indonesia recently has ideological, historical and political linkages and is part of the dynamics of the strategic environment at the global and regional levels. the approach method uses normative juridical, the results of the study state that the legal politics of eradicating criminal acts of terrorism in Indonesia is a proactive policy and anticipatory step that is based on prudence and is long-term in nature. The use of Act No. 15 of 2003 to regulate the eradication of criminal acts of terrorism is based on the consideration that the occurrence of terrorism in various places has caused material and immaterial losses and caused insecurity for the community. It can be stated that the government's policy to tackle criminal acts of terrorism is by taking legal steps, so that unwanted things can be anticipated
transition in lattice QCD
We study the electromagnetic
transition in 2+1 flavor lattice QCD, which gives access to the dominant decay
mode of baryon. The magnetic dipole and the electric quadrupole
transition form factors are computed. The magnetic dipole form factor is found
to be mainly determined by the strange quark and the electric quadrupole form
factor to be negligibly small, in consistency with the quark model. We also

Analysis of Bloggers’ Usage of the Web Space in Kyrgyzstan to Engage Civically and Politically
This dissertation work seeks to assess the implications of the internet (blogging) in non-democratic Kyrgyz Republic for engaging civically and politically. Existing literature offers contradictory findings about the role of internet in non-democratic countries and Kyrgyz Republic is one of those non-western countries that have been overlooked. To understand how the internet may relate to engagement civically and politically, the author applies survey approach and in-depth interviews to examine the relationship between the internet and engagement by specifically looking at how Kyrgyz bloggers use the web space.
The sample is drawn from student population. The author collected online 132 responses during the period of January 19, 2015 and March 6, 2015 via Qualtrics surveys. The survey was offered in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English languages.
This research identified that politically active internet users tend to be active offline as well. There was, however, no relationship between civic engagements online with offline. This study sought to know whether gender mattered in how Kyrgyz internet users blogged. Gender played a role in political engagement that men bloggers were more active politically than women bloggers. All other gender analysis revealed no significant differences.
This is believed to be the first research examining bloggers in Kyrgyzstan and offers some knowledge about internet users of Kyrgyz Republic. It is expected that the findings would help to understand on the impact of contemporary internet use and perhaps add a fresh perspective that challenges the dominating scientific knowledge coming from the western world (Dutton, 2013)
Predicting the Masses of Exotic Hadrons with Data Augmentation Using Multilayer Perceptron
Recently, there have been significant developments in neural networks, which
led to the frequent use of neural networks in the physics literature. This work
is focused on predicting the masses of exotic hadrons, doubly charmed and
bottomed baryons using neural networks trained on meson and baryon masses that
are determined by experiments. The original data set has been extended using
the recently proposed artificial data augmentation methods. We have observed
that the neural network's predictive ability increases with the use of
augmented data. The results indicated that data augmentation techniques play an
essential role in improving neural network predictions; moreover, neural
networks can make reasonable predictions for exotic hadrons, doubly charmed,
and doubly bottomed baryons. The results are also comparable to Gaussian
Process and Constituent Quark Model.Comment: 8 pages, 4 figure

Fabrication of Lu doped YBCO thin films by pulsed laser deposition technique and their characterization

From the day forward, the interest in this ceramic compound has not diminished. YBCO is one of the most promising materials for the application of high temperature superconductors (HTS) because it is able to carry a technically useful current density in applied fields at 77 K. A lot of experiments guided to investigate the basic properties of the HTS and to further the theoretica understanding of them also used YBCO, because this progress has been achieved in the preparation of bulk samples, and especially thin films deposited by a various methods. The aim of the experimental investigation presented in this thesis was to produce high quality epitaxial Lutetium doped YBCO thin films on MgO substrates prepared by pulsed laser deposition. For this purpose, bulk Lu2O3 powder was mixed into YBCO by using solid-state reaction method and pressed to make a stoichiometric target for PLD process. KrF excimer laser was worked at 14 Kv with repetition rates ranging from 3 to 5 Hz to deposited Y0.9Lu0.1Ba2Cu3O7-. thin films at a substrate temperature of 800 oC. The surface of the films were characterized by employing XRD, SEM, EDX and AFM techniques
Stationary Lifshitz black holes ofR2-corrected gravity theory
In this short note, I present a generalization of a set of static D-dimensional (D >= 3) Lifshitz black holes, which are solutions of the gravitational model obtained by amending the cosmological Einstein theory with the addition of only the curvature-scalar-squared term and that are described by two parameters, to a more general class of exact, analytic solutions that involves an additional parameter which now renders them stationary. In the special D = 3 and the dynamical exponent z = 1 cases, the parameters can be adjusted so that the solution becomes identical to the celebrated BTZ black hole metric
Peran Kunjungan Keluarga Terhadap Kondisi Psikologis Narapidana di Lapas Kelas IIB Pangakalan BUN
Penelitian ini berfokus pada manfaat dalam pelaksanaan kunjungan keluarga di Lapas Kelas IIB Pangkalan Bun. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis yang bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil yang dicapai dari pelaksanaan kunjungan keluarga membawa pengaruh positif bagi kondisi psikologis narapidana jika dibandingkan dengan narapidana yang jarang ataupun tidak pernah dikunjungi. Selain itu, pelaksanaan kunjungan keluarga juga sebagai sarana hiburan bagi narapidana, hal ini pula berfungsi sebagai upaya antisipasi timbulnya kekacauan atau terjadinya kemungkinan pelarian. Namun dalam pelaksanaan kunjungan keluarga terdapat beberapa kendala, yaitu: faktor waktu, domisili dan ekonomi, kecenderungan adanya perasaan malu dan sikap kurang peduli dari keluarga narapidana. Berbagai permasalahan ditemukan dalam pelaksanaan kunjungan keluarga, beberapa alternatif pemecahan masalah dapat dilakukan dengan cara : 1) perpanjangan waktu ketika kunjungan, 2) peran serta petugas lebih ditingkatkan dalam mengikuti perkembangan narapidana, sehingga dapat dilakukan pencegahan dini terhadap hal-hal yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis narapidana, serta perlu dilakukan pendekatan secara individual (personal approach) terhadap narapidana yang mengalami gangguan psikologis akibat tidak pernah dikunjungi, 3) perlu diadakan kunjungan massal pada hari tertentu, seperti pada Hari Besar Peringatan Kemerdekaan RI dengan memberikan undangan pada setiap keluarga narapidana
