PRICE DEMAND MODEL FOR A CLOUD CACHE
Cloud applications that offer data management services are emerging. Such clouds support caching of data in order to provide quality query services. The users can query the cloud data, paying the price for the infrastructure they use. Cloud management necessitates an economy that manages the service of multiple users in an efficient, but also, resource economic way that allows for cloud profit. Naturally, the maximization of cloud profit given some guarantees for user satisfaction presumes an appropriate price-demand model that enables optimal pricing of query services. The model should be plausible in that it reflects the correlation of cache structures involved in the queries. Optimal pricing is achieved based on a dynamic pricing scheme that adapts to time changes. This paper proposes a novel price-demand model designed for a cloud cache and a dynamic pricing scheme for queries executed in the cloud cache. The pricing solution employs a novel method that estimates the correlations of the cache services in an time-efficient manner. The experimental study shows the efficiency of the solution
Enhancement of biogas potential of primary sludge by co-digestion with cow manure and brewery sludge
Anaerobic digestion (AD) has long been used to treat different types of organic wastes especially in the developed world. However, organic wastes are still more often considered as a waste instead of a resource in the developing world, which contributes to environmental pollution arising from their disposal. This study has been conducted at Bugolobi Sewage Treatment Plant (BSTP), where two organic wastes, cow manure and brewery sludge were co-digested with primary sludge in different proportions. This study was done in lab-scale reactors at mesophilic temperature and sludge retention time of 20 d. The main objective was to evaluate the biodegradability of primary sludge generated at BSTP, Kampala, Uganda and enhance its ability of biogas production. When the brewery sludge was added to primary STP sludge at all proportions, the biogas production rate increased by a factor of 3. This was significantly (p<0.001) higher than observed gas yield (337 +/- 18 mL/(L.d)) in the control treatment containing (only STP sludge). Co-digesting STP sludge with cow manure did not show different results compared to the control treatment. In conclusion, Bugolobi STP sludge is poorly anaerobically degradable with low biogas production but co-digestion with brewery sludge enhanced the biogas production rate, while co-digestion with cow manure was not beneficial
Personalized Web Search Using Browsing History and Domain Knowledge Based on Enhanced User Profile
Generic search engines are important for retrieving relevant information from web. However these engines follow the "one size fits all" model which is not adaptable to individual users. Personalized web search is an important field for tuning the traditional IR system for focused information retrieval. This paper is an attempt to improve personalized web search. User's Profile provides an important input for performing personalized web search. This paper proposes a framework for constructing an Enhanced User Profile by using user's browsing history and enriching it using domain knowledge. This Enhanced User Profile can be used for improving the performance of personalized web search. In this paper we have used the Enhanced User Profile specifically for suggesting relevant pages to the user. The experimental results show that the suggestions provided to the user using Enhanced User Profile ae better than those obtained by using a User Profile
A Project On Analysis Of Bi-Directional Dc-Dc Converter With Closed Loop Control
A novel bidirectional dc–dc converter is presented in this paper. The circuit configuration of the proposed converter is very simple. The proposed converter employs a coupled inductor with same winding turns in the primary and secondary sides. In step-up mode, the primary and secondary windings of the coupled inductor are operated in parallel charge and series discharge to achieve high step-up voltage gain. In step-down mode, the primary and secondary windings of the coupled inductor are operated in series charge and parallel discharge to achieve high step-down voltage gain. Thus, the proposed converter has higher step-up and step-down voltage gains than the conventional bidirectional dc–dc boost/buck converter. Under same electric specifications for the proposed converter and the conventional bidirectional boost/buck converter, the average value of the switch current in the proposed converter is less than the conventional bidirectional boost/buck converter. The operating principle and steady-state analysis are discussed in detail. Finally, a 14/42-V prototype circuit is implemented to verify the performance for the automobile dual-battery system
The Wireless frameworks consuming TDOA and FDOA Extents for Mobile Emitter Geolocation and Tracking applications
Mobiles devices are essential in wireless correspondence frameworks, improvement of exact and dependable portable situating advancements. The execution of precise area estimation is by making systems and strategies manages following of portable emitter utilizing a grouping of time difference of Arrival (TDOA) and r frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) estimation. In this paper one emitter is thought to be connected. The estimations of TDOA are characterized by an area of conceivable emitter areas around a novel hyperbola and afterward the capacity is approximated by Gaussian Mixture. The FDOA estimations assessment of isolated Kalman channels. Likelihood thickness capacity guess by a Gaussian blend and following results close to the Cramér–Rao lower bound results in a superior track state. The execution of proposed Gaussian blend methodology is assessed utilizing a reenactment contemplate, and contrasted and a bank of EKF channels and the Cramér–Rao lower bound. Study Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) system and Frequency Difference of Arrival (FDOA) strategy for confining the emitter and proposition for improvement in applying so as to exist model another module of following the emitter utilizing TDOA and FDOA method
Deployment of Mobile Ad-hoc Network Ticket Based QoS Routing Protocol for Healthcare
A Mobile Adhoc Network comprises of set of portable hosts which are equipped for corresponding with one another with no aid of base stations. MANET are quick evolving topology, broad exploration is going ahead to outline directing conventions for MANETs. The Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector convention concerns with most limited way steering and changing the courses powerfully in work space. Quality of Service (QoS) prerequisite issues are less tended to in MANETs and the motivation behind this paper is to address QoS directing in a MANET domain and concentrate principally on ticket based QoS steering convention to figure out course fulfilling certain data transmission and delay obliges. The essential thought is to utilize tickets to keep the quantity of route searching packets to abstain from flooding and to make courses progressively to accomplish proficient Quality of Service
Not an innocent bystander: case series of tranexamic acid induced cortical necrosis
Acute cortical necrosis accounts for <2% of all acute kidney injuries. Pregnancy complications, viperine snake bites, haemolytic uremic syndrome, shock, and severe pancreatitis are all linked to it. There are relatively few case reports of acute cortical necrosis secondary to tranexamic acid, which is utilised in the treatment of acute bleeding because of its antifibrinolytic actions. Acute cortical necrosis is very infrequently brought on by medicines. Here, we present a group of three instances, each of which experienced the onset of oligo-anuria soon after receiving tranexamic acid. Cortical necrosis was demonstrated by contrast computed tomography (CT) and renal biopsy. While the third patient had patchy cortical necrosis and had partially recovered renal functions, the other two patients both had total acute cortical necrosis and are still reliant on dialysis. This case series demonstrates the need for clinicians to be cautious while using tranexamic acid and to be aware of the possibility of abrupt renal cortical necrosis following its administration
Acute Pancreatitis and Diabetes Mellitus Caused by Dengue
In this article, an aramid of 4,4′-(1,3-phenylenedioxy)dianiline and terephthaloyl chloride was prepared. Afterwards, Nylon 6/6 and aramid were used to prepare sol-gel coated and non-coated blend fibers reinforced with nanodiamond (ND). In this way, four types of fibers were fabricated i.e. aramid/Nylon 6/6 fibers (Ar/N66) and aramid/Nylon 6/6/nanodiamond fibers (Ar/N66//ND) and sol-gel coated s-Ar/N66 and s-Ar/N66//ND fibers. The fibers were fabricated via Brabender single screw extruder at 200 °C. The Ar/N66 and Ar/N66//ND fibers were coated by means of simple dip-coating technique. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was used for structural characterization. Scanning electron microscopic images of non-coated and sol-gel coated fibers were scanned for morphological comparison. Glass transition temperature of the sol gel s-Ar/N66 fibers increased up to 232 °C, while that of s-Ar/N66//ND was enhanced to 240 °C relative to neat fibers. Moreover, the sol-gel coated s-Ar/N66//ND (8.08%) fibers had higher water absorbing tendency than non-coated Ar/N66//ND (7.66 %)
