NOUL CONCEPT AL SPAŢIULUI

In our time, space has got a changed connotation as compared to the ones advanced by Newton and Kant, or even to later elaborations on this subject. Based on a brief analysis of a number of conceptualizations of space in some disciplines, the present article argues in favor of the thesis of the “plasticity of space”: space has the capacity and the possibility to get shapes and to allow for developments from the part of those who occupy it, and, as a matter of fact, those who live it. Consequently, one can speak about the “plurality of the concept of space”: we no longer have a single, all comprising space, similarly to a huge vase with the walls placed infinitely away, since we have different types of space, according to the structure aimed at and the events going on

Risk is when, in a new situation, a new solution is adopted or existing solutions are perpetuated without having to anticipate the future. Today’s realities can be interpreted as risks which were assumed by predecessors. The present course of “world society” is risk-loaded : new economic crisis, increasing development gaps and social disparities, greater social tensions, terrorism, new migration of peoples. The solutions come from the working together of the superpowers to restore multilateralism, to resume democracy, and to join democracy with meritocracy

The Alternatives of Europe

The specialised investigations in the last century and a half have led us to thecomprehensive understanding of Europe as a culture that was set up and has developed beingnurtured by three major sources: Jerusalem, Athens and Rome, plus other numerous sources. Thetriangle of the three cultural metropolitan cities in history, which have essentially given us thereligion and the vision upon the human fate, science and philosophy, law and civil dignity, remainthe most adequate metaphor to summarise the decisive sources of Europe. The destiny of Europecannot be thematised without examining these sources.Europeans today live in captivity with the present, with a culture somehow amputated by thelived dimension of the future.For this reason, the future has to become again a priority objective in democratic societies,and philosophy has the opportunity to develop a concept of rationality that includes science in anintegrative understanding, which clarifies its meaning, without preventing the success of scientificaction.Such a reason may set Europe in motion again with everything that is specific to it

Development research. Development research needs conceptual clarifications. The present study tries to reveal them in the attempt to set up a research program based on the following options: a) diagnoses and forecasts are indispensable; b) data, development goals, development modeling, strategies and actors of development strategies need to be addressed in correlation; c) successful strategies in changing the situations may not to be suitable for the construction of new situations; d) the role of the institutions and of the State in development needs reassessment, both the “invading” and the “feeble” State being counter indicated; e) community culture is a premise of crucial importance in development; f) development cannot be achieved by simply restoring traditions, since, from, the very beginning, it involves historical innovatio

Intentionnalité et inconscient (réflexions sur le fonctionnement de la vie psychique à partir du premier Husserl et de Freud)

L'enjeu de ce travail est de montrer la portée et les limites du concept husserlien d'intentionnalité tel qu'il prend naissance dans les Recherches logiques et dans les textes contemporains. Une fois ces limites exposées, nous proposons que la théorie husserlienne de l'intentionnalité soit complotée par une théorie de l'inconscient inspirée des textes de Sigmund Freud. A partir de ces textes nous proposons une cartographie plus complète de l'esprit humain, qui rend compte non seulement de la conscience, mais aussi des phénomènes psychiques qui échappent à une telle description. Une première partie est dédiée au concept d'intentionnalité, que Husserl introduit pour corriger celui de Brentano et au problème que ce concept doit résoudre : celui du rapport de l'esprit aux objets qu'il connaît. Nous montrons que cette conception de l'intentionnalité manque la dimension dynamique inhérente aux actes intentionnels. Notre deuxième partie est dédiée à l'étude de cette dimension dynamique à partir des manuscrits husserliens de 1913-1914 sur la tendance, qui témoignent, contrairement aux textes publiés de la même période, d'une préoccupation constante de Husserl pour le caractère dynamique de l'intentionnalité. Puisque la dynamique intentionnelle ne peut pas s'expliquer elle-même en termes d'intentionnalité sans s'exposer à une régression à l'infini nous avons essayé une nouvelle approche du problème par le biais de la théorie freudienne de l'inconscient.
