The focus of this study is to understand the phenomena that occur within the scope of local wisdom of the Maanyan Dayak tribe. This study uses the library methodology from previous research. This writing finds various philosophical meanings contained in culture. Local wisdom is the main basis for understanding writing. There are various analysis results from previous studies that were developed. The Dayak Maanyan tribe has a precious meaning of togetherness in local wisdom. Several things become the main discussion as follows. First, local wisdom is seen as an effort to preserve culture. Second, traditions passed down and passed down by our ancestors have philosophical values that are rich in life. Third, the relevance of customary values in the life of the nation and state is a characteristic of the Indonesian people

Le neofantastique : entre la transgression et l'esprit conservateur

    Get PDF
The néofantastique (neo-fantasy) literature abounds in representations of transgressions, be it moral, religious, and social. This literary genre often deals with crimes, pornography, cannibalism, necrophilia, etc. Because the new fantasy literature breaks various cultural taboos, many critics perceive it as a genre liberal par excellence. However, there are also conservative, or didactic, works inscribed in the genre in which all transgressions are punished by the death of the transgressor. This study analyzes this ambiguity of the néofantastique on the basis of a number of short stories in the French language by various Belgian and French authors

Coverage Range and Cost Comparison of Remote Antenna Unit Designs for Inbuilding Radio over Fiber Technology

    Get PDF
Future communication needs to be ubiquitous, broadband, convergent, and seamless. Radio over fiber (RoF) technology is one of the most important enabler in access network for the technologies. Adoption of RoF faces bottleneck in optoelectronics, that they are still expensive, high power consumption, and limited in bandwidth. To solve the problem, transceiver in remote antenna unit (RAU) is developed, i.e. electroabsorption transceiver (EAT) and asymmetric FabryPerot modulator (AFPM). This paper compares their coverage range and cost in providing WCDMA and WLAN services. Needed gain of RF amplifier for supporting picocell is also discussed

La clientèle de l’architecte Barry Dierks sur la Côte d’Azur

    Get PDF

Public preferences for phasing-out fossil fuels in the german building and transport sectors

    Get PDF
In most of Europe, the decarbonisation of the building and transport sectors lags behind emission targets. Achieving full decarbonisation requires not only the diffusion of net-zero emission technologies but also the phase-out of technologies that emit greenhouse gases (GHG). However, implementing policy changes in these sectors can have an immediate and significant impact on people's day-to-day life, leading to a higher risk of political backlash, as exemplified by the yellow vest movement in France. In this study, we investigate public preferences for phase-out policy packages in both sectors in Germany by conducting two conjoint experiments with 1,777 respondents in March 2022. Respondents collectively evaluated a total of 17,770 policy packages per sector, specifically targeting the phase-out of fossil fuel-based heating systems and internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs). We find that respondents favour earlier phase-out dates for both technologies, but the type of preferred instruments varies: while regulatory instruments like bans are preferred for heating systems, economic instruments like taxes are preferred for ICEVs. These preferences are even more pronounced in people most concerned about climate change. In addition, we find that people with higher knowledge about sector emissions tend to demonstrate higher acceptance of policy interventions and that supportive measures significantly enhance the attractiveness of policy packages. Our findings can inform the design of phase-out policy packages, potentially increasing their acceptability and political feasibility

Two possible modes of pioneering associated with combination of H2A.Z and p300/CBP at nucleosome-occupied enhancers

Pioneer transcription factors are defined by their ability to bind nucleosome-occupied regions. Here, we discuss the properties of nucleosomes bound by pioneers at enhancer regions. We describe how select pioneers bind nucleosome-occupied or -depleted enhancer sites. Importantly, by revisiting and expanding existing data sets, we show differential H2A.Z and p300/CBP association at bound enhancers, highlighting two possible pioneering modes
