Multiplicities of jumping points for mixed multiplier ideals

In this paper we make a systematic study of the multiplicity of the jumping points associated to the mixed multiplier ideals of a family of ideals in a complex surface with rational singularities. In particular we study the behaviour of the multiplicity by small perturbations of the jumping points. We also introduce a Poincar\'e series for mixed multiplier ideals and prove its rationality. Finally, we study the set of divisors that contribute to the log-canonical wall.Comment: 21 page

The El Masnou Infralittoral sedimentary environment (Barcelona province, NW Mediterranean Sea): morphology and Holocene seismic stratigraphy

A detailed analysis of the morphology and the Holocene seismic and sequence stratigraphy and architecture of the infralittoral sedimentary environment of the El Masnou coast (Catalonia, NW Mediterranean Sea) was carried out using multibeam bathymetry and GeoPulse seismic data. This environment extends down to 26-30 m water depth, and is defined morphologically by two depositional wedges whose seafloor is affected by erosive furrows, slides, fields of large- and small-scale wavy bedforms, and dredging trenches and pits. Erosive terraces are also identified in the transition domain toward the inner continental shelf. The Holocene stratigraphy of the infralittoral environment is defined by two major seismic sequences (lower and upper), each one formed by internal seismic units. The sequences and units are characterised by downlapping surfaces made up of deposits formed by progradation of coastal lithosomes. The stratigraphy and stratal architecture, displaying a retrogradational arrangement with progradational patterns of minor order, were controlled by different sea-level positions. The stratigraphic division represents the coastal response to the last fourth-order transgressive and highstand conditions, modulated by small-scale sea-level oscillations (≈1-2 m) of fith to sixth order. This study also highlights the advantage of an integrated analysis using acoustic/seismic methods for practical assessment of the anthropogenic effects on infralittoral domains based on the association of marine geological observations

Household storage, surplus and supra-household storage in prehistoric and protohistoric societies of the Western Mediterranean

The objective of this paper is to assess foodstuff storage throughout Recent Prehistory (5600–50 BCE) from the standpoint of the three different types (household, surplus and supra-household) identified in the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula. The volumetric data of the underground silos serves as a proxy to evaluate the link between them and the agricultural systems and technological changes. The study also assesses the ability, and specifically, the will of the ancient communities of the northeastern Iberia to generate domestic and extra-domestic surpluses

Enfocament psicosocial del nou delicte de captació i adoctrinament de persones per a cometre activitats terroristes

La darrera reforma del Codi penal espanyol ha suposat la introducció de nous il·lícits penals amb la finalitat de proporcionar respostes més ajustades a les noves realitats criminals. Una d'aquestes modificacions afecta els articles propis de terrorisme i, concretament el 576, que inclou una sèrie de figures delictives noves, com ara, la captació i l'adoctrinament per a cometre activitats terroristes. Tanmateix, aquesta novetat pot provocar malentesos a l'hora d'avaluar el valor de la prova. La captació i l'adoctrinament són fases d'un procés "de radicalització violenta", sobre el qual no existeix un consens unànime entre els especialistes i acadèmics sobre la descripció del mateix i les variables que hi intervenen. Aquest working paper pretén aportar una visió des de la psicologia social del procés de la radicalització violenta i l'experiència d'una investigació sobre els processos de manipulació psicològica que intervenen en la captació i adoctrinament de terroristes d'una cèl·lula gihadista detectada a presons espanyoles. Els resultats obtinguts poden ser de gran utilitat per realitzar peritatges de la prova més precisos

Poincar\'e series of multiplier ideals in two-dimensional local rings with rational singularities

We study the multiplicity of the jumping numbers of an $\mathfrak m$-primary ideal $\mathfrak a$ in a two-dimensional local ring with a rational singularity. The formula we provide for the multiplicities leads to a very simple and efficient method to detect whether a given rational number is a jumping number. We also give an explicit description of the Poincar\'e series of multiplier ideals associated to $\mathfrak a$ proving, in particular, that it is a rational function.Comment: 21 page
