Scientific Transformation of Islamic Boarding Schools through Role of Alums the Islamic Education Study Program

This study aims to reveal the existence and role of alums of the Islamic Religious Education study program in carrying out scientific transformations in Islamic boarding schools. The research location is the As-Salman Allakuang Darud Da'wah wal Ershad (DDI) Islamic boarding school, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study uses a qualitative research approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques used participant observation, semi-structured interviews, focusing on crucial informants, namely alums of the Islamic Religious Education study program who had served since 2016 at the DDI As-Salman Allakuang Islamic boarding school, as well as documentation studies. The data analysis technique used the interactive analysis technique of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. Testing the validity of the data is done by going through the credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability tests. The results showed that alums of the Islamic Religious Education study program from the Parepare State Islamic Institute played an essential role in the scientific transformation of the DDI As-Salman Allakuang Islamic boarding school since 2016. Their role is seen in four ways: 1) Maximizing the functions and duties as educators by carrying out the mandate, 2) Equipping students with millennial-era skills through structured activities, 3) Strengthening self-potential and sensitivity to contemporary realities for students, and 4) Intensifying the internalization of values and ethics by carrying out recitation, coaching, and cadre training to strengthen the basis of morality Students. The value of these findings underscores the importance of alums, the relevance of education to the needs of the times, social responsibility as educators, and strengthening identity and self-potential in the context of Islamic religious education in Islamic boarding schools

Dimensi Gender Dalam Novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban Karya Abidah El Khalieqy: Pendekatan Feminisme Dan Implementasi Sebagai Bahan Ajar Sastra Di SMA

This study has three objectives are to describes: (1) the novel structure of Perempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah El Khalieqy. (2) gender dimensions in Perempuan Berkalung Sorban novel by Abidah El-Khalieqy. (3) the implementation of the research results of Perempuan Berkalung Sorban novel by Abidah El-Khalieqy as a literary material in senior high school. This research uses qualitative method and narrative analysis. The main data source in this research is the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah Al-Khalieqy. Technique of collecting data is done by library technique. The result of the research concludes that (1) The novel structure of Perempuan Berkalung Sorban by Abidah El-Khalieqy is (a) theme: expressing the need to recognize women existence. (B) Plot: conventional. (c) Characterization: Annisa Nuhaiyyah and Samsudin (main characters), Kiai Hanan Abul Malik, Rizal, Wildan, Hajjah Mutmainah, Lek Khudhori, Kalsum, Pak Joko, Mbak May, Mbak Ulfah, and Aisha (additional figures). (2) The elements of feminism in the novel of Perempuan Berkalung Sorban: marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence, and workload on women. (3) The research results of this Perempuan Berkalung Surban novel can be implemented in the study of literature subjects Indonesian Language and Literature for high school students of class XI semester 2. PENDAMPINGAN PEMBUATAN MINYAK SUMBAWA PADA KARANG TARUNA DESA REMPE SETELUK SUMBAWA BARAT

ABSTRAK                                                               Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya Pembuatan Minyak Sumbawa (Melala) dalam rangka siar budaya dan pengenalan pada Karang Taruna Desa Rempe Seteluk Sumbawa Barat.  Pengenalan pembuatan minyak Sumbawa pada generasi muda saat ini sebagai langkah memperkenalkan minyak Sumbawa sebagai  Obat tradisional sebagai obat-obatan yang diolah secara tadisional, turun-temurun berdasarkan resep nenek moyang, adat-istiadat, kepercayaan dan kebiasaan setempat, sehingga merupakan pengetahuan tradisional. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan di Desa Rempe Kecamatan Seteluk Kabuapten Sumbawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan praktek langsung. Hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diketahui bahwa antusias dari karang taruna dalam ikut terlibat dalam pembutan minyak Sumbawa cukup tinggi karena memberikan pengetahuan baru dalam mengembangkan budaya local di masa akan datang. Kata Kunci: pendampingan; minyak sumbawa dan karang taruna. ABSTRACTThe purpose of doing community service, especially Sumbawa Oil Production (Malala) in the context of cultural broadcasting and introduction to the Youth Organization of Rempe Seteluk Village, West Sumbawa. The introduction of Sumbawa oil manufacture to the younger generation today is a step to introduce Sumbawa oil as traditional medicine as medicines that are processed traditionally, from generation to generation. from generation to generation based on ancestral recipes, customs, beliefs and local customs, so that it is traditional knowledge. Community service is carried out in Rempe Village, Seteluk District, West Sumbawa Regency. The method used is socialization and direct practice. The results of this community service show that the enthusiasm of youth organizations in being involved in the production of Sumbawa oil is quite high because it provides new knowledge in developing local culture in the future. Keywords: mentoring; sumbawa oil and youth organizations

PENGENALAN WISATA BUDAYA PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN GEOGRAFI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MATARAM DI DUSUN SADE REMBITAN LOMBOK TENGAH

ABSTRAKTujuan dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya pengenalan wisata budaya pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram Di Dusun Sade Rembitan Lombok Tengah dalam rangka siar budaya dan pengenalan budaya sasak khusus kalangan mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan kunjungan langsung lapangan. Hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diketahui memberikan dampak positif terhadap mahasiswa akan pentingnya budaya sebagai asset bangsa. Kondisi sebagai keraifan local sebagai budaya leluhur dalam memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat umum. The results of this community service are known to have a positive impact on students regarding the importance of culture as a nation's asset. Effect of garlic on cardiovascular disorders: a review

Garlic and its preparations have been widely recognized as agents for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and other metabolic diseases, atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, thrombosis, hypertension and diabetes. Effectiveness of garlic in cardiovascular diseases was more encouraging in experimental studies, which prompted several clinical trials. Though many clinical trials showed a positive effect of garlic on almost all cardiovascular conditions mentioned above, however a number of negative studies have recently cast doubt on the efficary of garlic specially its cholesterol lowering effect of garlic. It is a great challenge for scientists all over the world to make a proper use of garlic and enjoy its maximum beneficial effect as it is the cheapest way to prevent cardiovascular disease.
