    Pentingnya Mengembangkan E-Modul Interaktif Berbasis Flipbook di Sekolah Menengah Atas

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum adanya sumber belajar yang menarik dan tidak monoton bagi guru maupun peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasi tentang pentingnya pengembangan e-modul interaktif berbasis flipbook. Observasi dilakukan di SMAN 4 Payakumbuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian dan Pengembangan dengan model 4D yang mana dalam penelitian ini peneliti hanya menggunakan 3D yakni Define, Design, dan Development. E-modul interaktif berbasis flipbook ini dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi Flip PDF Profesional. Observasi dilakukan pada 05 Januari 2021 dengan memberikan angket kepada guru dan peserta didik kelas XI MIPA. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa guru belum pernah menggunakan e-modul interaktif berbasis flipbook. Hasil Penilaian Harian jaringan hewan didapatkan nilai rata-rata yang cukup rendah yakni 67. Berdasarkan angket yang peneliti berikan kepada peserta didik, hal ini disebabkan 45% karena materi jaringan hewan sulit dipahami, 40% menjawab materi bersifat hafalan, dan 28 % menjawab karena kurangnya sumber belajar. Sebanyak 89% peserta didik mengininkan sumber belajar yang mengandung video dan animasi yang dapat menunjang pemahaman mengenai jaringan hewan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa 92% peserta didik memilih setuju jika peneliti mengembangkan e-modul interaktif berbasis flipbook pada materi jaringan hewan

    Measurement of students' creative thinking skills is needed so that teachers as educators can develop steps that can be used to improve students' creative thinking skills. This type of research is descriptive research. The purpose of this study was to determine the creative thinking skills of students. The population in this study were all students of class XI at SMA SDI Silungkang for the academic year 2021/2022. The sample is determined by lottery. The sample in this study was determined by lottery. Data analysis with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the creative thinking ability of students was still very low. This is indicated by the acquisition of the percentage of creative thinking skills T5 (very high) as much as 3.9%, T4 (high) as much as 5.6%, T3 (moderate) as much as 7.5%, T2 (low) as much as 28.6%, and T1 (very low) as much as 54.4% of students. The choice of answers reflects the level of creative thinking skills of students. Efforts that can be made by teachers include varying the learning model that directs students to think creatively.Keterampilan berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki peserta didik. Pengukuran terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik diperlukan agar guru sebagai pendidik dapat menyusun langkah-langkah yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMA SDI Silungkang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI di SMA SDI Silungkang tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Sampel ditentukan dengan cara pengundian. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket yang telah divalidasi. Analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI IPA di SMA SDI Silungkang masih sangat rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh perolehan presentase keterampilan berpikir kreatif T5 (sangat tinggi) sebanyak 3,9%, T4 (tinggi) sebanyak 5,6%, T3 (sedang) sebanyak 7,5%, T2 (rendah) sebanyak 28,6%, dan T1 (sangat rendah) sebanyak 54,4% peserta didik.     Identification of Factors Causing Learning Difficulties In The 11th Grade Students on Cell Material and Substance Transport

    Learning difficulties are the condition of learners who are not studying properly and are unable to obtain the predetermined KKM scores. Learners are experiencing learning difficulties influenced by several factors. Factors that affect learning difficulties learners are internal factors and external factors. Learning difficulties are often found in learners in following the learning process. Cell and substance transport is one of the high school class XI materials in biology lessons. In replication of cell material and transport of class XI MIA substances in SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung shows value below KKM. So, based on the understanding of learning difficulties above means the students of class XI MIA in SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung experiencing learning difficulties because they are unable to meet the limits of KKM which has been determined. Therefore, the researcher wanted to identify the difficulties of studying students in grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung on cell material and substance transport.The type of this research is descriptive research. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires and questions. Questionnaire given in the form of statements and soaalnya in the form of multiple choice. The population of this study is the students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung consisting of 7 classes with the number 231 people. The sample of this study was 70 people taken 10 people per class. Based on the data analysis can be seen the absence of the value of learners are complete after being given a matter of understanding the concept of the concept of cell material and substance transport. For the results of questionnaires data obtained the percentage of factors that cause the learning difficulties of the most high learners are themselves by 54.62%, the next school by 50.6%, the community 39.63% and the last family 30.94%

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Android pada Materi Transkripsi dan Translasi untuk Mata Kuliah Genetika

    Materi biologi banyak menjelaskan konsep abstrak seperti proses fisiologis hingga molekuler membuat materi biologi dianggap sulit oleh mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang telah dilakukan, masih banyak mahasiswa menganggap materi pada matakuliah genetika sulit terutama pada materi transkripsi dan translasi. Mahasiswa membutuhkan media vang praktis untuk digunakan dimanapun dan kapanpun serta mampu memvisualisasikan materi tersebut. Media pembelajaran berbasis Android diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi transkripsi dan translasi. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development menggunakan model 4D, namun pada penelitian ini dibatasi hanya tiga tahapan yaitu Define, Design dan Develop, khususnya sampai validasi produk. Produk media yang dikembangkan berupa media pembelajaran dengan format aplikasi .apk yang bisa dioperasikan pada perangkat smartphone Android dan pada perangkat laptop/PC menggunakan software emulator seperti NOX dan lainnya. Media pembelajaran ini memuat materi transkripsi dan translasi yang terdiri dari menu-menu yaitu: Learning Outcomes (LO), materi (memuat penjelasan serta proses transkripsi dan translasi), latihan (berupa soal-soal dalam bentuk multiple choises), dan tombol keluar. Berdasarkan uji validitas didapatkan hasil validiasi dari ahli materi 97,5% dengan kategori sangat valid dan ahli media juga dapat dikategorikan sangat valid sebesar 83.8%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut didapatkan angka validitas sebesar 91,2% dengan kategori sangat valid

    Undertanding's Analysis the Concept of Classification of Living Organism for Student's Class VII at SMPN 8 Padang

    Biology is one of the branches of IPA. Biology as one of science subjects has different principles with other science subjects. It has many concepts contained in biology. One of the complex bilogical materials contained in biology and difficult to understand by learners's the material about classification of living things. In addition, the material classification of living things commonly used terms that difficult to understand by learners. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the concepts in the material classification of living things that have not been or have been understood by students. This study aims to analyze the understanding of the concept of classification of living things in class VII students in SMPN 8 Padang. The type of this research is descriptive research. The sample was taken by simple random sampling technique, with 48 students. The research was conducted by giving multiple choice test questions with open reasoning. Data were analyzed quantitatively. The result of the research showed that the students of class VII in SMPN 8 Padang experienced the level of understanding of the concept on the low category. Low comprehension of concepts includes the concepts of the characteristics of living things 41.66%; basic classification of living creatures 25.00%; 12.50% determination key concepts; monera and protista groups 16.93%; features of Kingdom Fungi 21.88%; features of Kingdom Plantae 20.83%; the difference between moss, ferns and seed plants 18.23%; the features of Kingdom Animalia 9.38% and the difference between Vertebrate and Invertebrate animals 16.02%

    Paradigma pendidikan telah berubah menuju pendidikan abad-21 yang dikenal dengan masa pengetahuan (knowledge age). Pendidikan pada masa knowledge age tidak lagi didominasi dengan transfer pengetahuan namun telah diarahkan pada melibatkan siswa untuk mampu membangun dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir sehingga mampu mengkonstruksi pengetahuan baru sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan penguasaan terhadap materi pelajaran. Guru abad-21 diharapkan memiliki lebih banyak pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk menghadapi dan memahami tantangan perubahan masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan soft skill dan hard skill guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran inovatif berbasis PBL, case based learning (CBL) dan PjbL dalam membangun keterampilan abad-21 siswa. Rencana kegiatan akan dilakukan dalam beberapa fase: (1) pendalaman materi biologi, (2) pembekalan keterampialan merancang pembelajaran PBL, CBL dan PjBL, (3) mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL/CBL atau PjBL, (4) mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis PBL/CBL atau PjBL.     The Effect of Problem Solving Model Towards Higher Order Thinking Skills and Students Learning Activities

    This study aims to determine the influence of the application of Problem Solving Model towards higher order thinking skills and learning activities of Class X students in SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. This type of research is an experimental study with a Random Design Only Posttest Design Group. The research subjects were 32 students of Class X MIPA 2 SMAN 3 Bukittinggi who were registered in the 2019/2020 school year. The research instrument for obtaining high order thinking skills data is an objective form of question sheet, while the learning activities data obtained through the observation sheet filled by observers. The results showed the average value obtained in the class applied the Problem Solving Model was 76.06. This value is higher when compared to the average value in the control class, which is 66.19. Learning activities of students with the application of the Problem Solving Model, namely for oral activity 73.44%, visual activity 93.76%, and writing activity 96.88%. This percentage is also higher than the control class which has a percentage of 42.19%, 84.38%, and 75%. Based on the results of the study, it can be conclude that the Problem Solving Model has a significant positive effect on the increase in high order thinking skills and learning activities of Class X students of SMAN 3 Bukittinggi.     The Influence of Problem Solving Model Toward Students’ Critical Thinking Skills

    The aims of this study was to find whether there was an influence of the Problem Solving Model towards critical thinking skills of students of grade XI in SMAN 9 Padang. A Quasi Experiment method with The Post-test Control Group Only Design was used in this study. Students were grouped in an experimental group (Problem Solving model) and a control group (Direct intruction). The data from a test were analyzed using t-test with a=0,05. The findings showed that there was a significant difference of critical thinking skills enhancement in experimental group than the control group

    The teacher is a factor that can directly influence quality improvement in improving the quality of education and students' critical thinking skills. Teachers are responsible for encouraging and guiding students to become proficient in active critical thinking and enjoy learning. The teacher is also responsible for all things in the class and provides assistance such as supporting the stages so that students can develop. A process so that teaching and learning activities in the classroom turn interactive and achieve the objectives of the teaching and learning activities is to use a learning model. An example of a learning model in order to improve students' critical thinking skills is a problem-based learning model. This research methodology is based on seven steps of literature search: determining the purpose of writing, selecting database sources, selecting keywords at the stage of searching a database, carrying out the stages of searching for literature, and determining the inclusion criteria for the articles used. selected according to inclusion characteristics and synthesis results in 20 national and international journals. The purpose of this study was to test the effect of the problem-based learning model (PBL) assisted by worksheets on students' thinking skills. The results of the study found that the problem-based learning model supported by LKPD was effective in increasing students' critical thinking skills
