Interrelation Between Unionids and Their Epibionts in the Cooling Pond of the Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant (Ukraine)
Paper deals with data on interrelation of mollusks of the family Unionidae and Dreissena polymorpha (Pallas, 1771) and other epibiotic invertebrates in the cooling pond of the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant (Ukraine). The quantitative indices of unionids and Dreissena, inhabiting shells of the living Unionidae, size structure of populations, and morphometric indexes of the living Unionidae were analyzed. No significant negative impact of settlements of the zebra mussels on Unionidae was noted.ΠΡΠΈΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½Ρ ΡΠ΅Π·ΡΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΡΡ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠΉ Π²Π·Π°ΠΈΠΌΠΎΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠΉ ΠΌΠ΅ΠΆΠ΄Ρ Π΄Π²ΡΡΡΠ²ΠΎΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠΌΠΈ ΠΌΠΎΠ»Π»ΡΡΠΊΠ°ΠΌΠΈ ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅ΠΉΡΠ²Π° Unionidae, Dreissena polymorpha (Pallas, 1771) ΠΈ Π΄ΡΡΠ³ΠΈΠΌΠΈ ΡΠΏΠΈΠ±ΠΈΠΎΠ½ΡΠ½ΡΠΌΠΈ Π±Π΅ΡΠΏΠΎΠ·Π²ΠΎΠ½ΠΎΡΠ½ΡΠΌΠΈ Π² Π²ΠΎΠ΄ΠΎΡΠΌΠ΅-ΠΎΡ

The Heterogeneity of the Abiotic and Biotic Components of Techno-Ecosystems: View from Space and from The Earth
The article discusses the use of different methods to assess the spatial structure of the biotic and abiotic component of the techno-ecosystems of cooling ponds of thermal and nuclear power plants in Belarus and Ukraine. Field studies provide point information on the parameters of biotic and abiotic variables, whereas statistical mapping and remote sensing methods makes it possible to generalize visualization and provides a holistic picture of the spatial heterogeneity of conditions and distribution of biota. Spatial changes in cooling ponds are mainly determined by hydrodynamic conditions in the pond and the presence of anthropogenic flow of cooling water. Studies have shown that the distribution of quantitative indicators of plankton in the surface layer in the Khmelnitsky NPP cooling pond was mostly determined by the position of individualstations and sections of the pond surface relative to manmade technical and wind circulation flows. In contrary, thermal conditions had the greatest influence on the characteristics of the plankton distribution in the Lukomskoye Lake - cooling pond of Lukomlskaya TPP
Stress-overcoming behaviour of women with minor cardiac abnormalities
The purpose of this research was to determine stress-overcoming behaviour of women with minor cardiac abnormalities considering abnormality intensity. With the help of Toronto Alexithymia Scale, E. Heim`s system and S. Subbotin`s test 122 young women with different manifestation rates of the heart connective tissue dysplasia (minimal β basic group and moderate - comparison group) were examined (average age β21,46 Β± 2,12 years). Significant dominance of adaptive coping strategies in all spheres was revealed when studying of stress-overcoming behaviour of healthy women with minor cardiac abnormalities of minimal intensity. Women of the comparison group used maladaptive coping-strategies in emotional and behavioural spheres more often comparing with clinically healthy women of the basic group. Significantly lower level of the stress resistance and higher alexithymia level were determined in the observed group with minor cardiac abnormalities of moderate intensity which has chosen maladaptive emotional and behavioural coping-strategies. The results are appropriate to consider for personalized arrangements for prevention of cardiovascular complications in patients with heart connective tissue dysplasia syndrome
Giant Inguinoscrotal Hernia
The following article devoted to the case of surgical treatment of giant inguinoscrotal hernia of a patient which signed the informed consent to the processing of personal data with dimensions of hernial sac 400x330x306 mm, size of hernial gates 9x8x7cm, loops of the small intestine, mesentery, a large number of heterogeneous liquid up to 14.7 L were determined in the hernial sac. Left herniotomy was performed. Back wall plastic of the inguinal canal was performed according to Liechtenstein. Mesh implant was used for the plastic.Π Π΄Π°Π½Π½ΠΎΠΉ ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΈΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ ΡΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΠΉ Ρ

The use of self-locking implants in the open treatment of patients with large and giant peri-incisional ventral hernias
The paper discusses the problem of the use of self-locking implants in the open treatment of peri-incisional ventral hernias. The beneficial effects of the use of new generation implants are shown. A review of the experience of using ProGrip and Adhesix self-locking implants in Russian invasive surgery is presented. The study aims to improve the surgical treatment of patients with large and giant peri-incisional ventral hernias by introducing self-locking implants into clinical practice.
