The article discusses the issues of creating a solid fodder basis for keeping livestock in the personal subsidiary farm of the rural population based on supply chain strategy. The analysis of the use of pastures on fixed lands of settlements has been conducted based on the example of five regions of Kazakhstan and a number of rural districts. A huge shortage of pastures in the territories of rural settlements and a discrepancy between the livestock population of the households and the level of their feed supply have been revealed. The assessment of the current regulatory and legislative framework and prospects for the organizational and economic use of these territories is presented. The necessity of regulating the use of pastures through the application of standards for limiting the livestock management per one household, the system of pasture rotation and radical improvement of pastures, allocation of additional areas at the expense of reserve lands, development of cooperation have been justified

These days, ensuring the high quality of thin products (0,6 – 2,0 mm) is the most promising direction for the development of hot-rolled strip production. Hot-rolled strips can be used in place of a more expensive cold-rolled strip. The effect of cooling modes on quality of hot-rolled metal was observed heating at different temperature, the degree of deformation was observed after cooling by water-air mixture. It was observed that the micro hardness of the samples decreases and the amount of structurally free ferrite increases by decreasing the cooling time and increasing the temperature

The article proposes a new design of a continuous mill. To study the stress-strain state during rolling of thin slabs on the proposed mill, a three-dimensional geometric and simulation model of the rolling process was developed using MSC SUPER FORGE. Based on the obtained results of numerical modeling, the distributions of equivalent strains in a thin slab when rolling in 1 mill stand, the distribution of equivalent stresses in a thin slab when rolling in 1 mill stand, the distribution of the temperature field in a thin slab when rolling in 1 mill stand

The design of a new diverting roller table is presented, containing continuous series of sections with diverting rollers. Using the program product of finite element analysis of Autodesk Inventor, the stress-strain state rollers of the new outrigger roller table is calculated. It is proved that the maximum concentrations of stresses and deformations are observed in barrels and necks of rollers a new outrigger roller table. At the same time, the value of these indices is much smaller in comparison with the values of stresses and deformations occurring in existing roller tables

Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (CT) with cisplatin administered intraosseously into the pubic bone in patients with invasive bladder carcinoma (Π’2β€”4N0M0) was most effective in patients with circular involvement of the bladder neck, even in large tumors of 5β€”7 cm. Out of 4 patients with this site of a tumor, full regression without further treatment was achieved in one patient, transurethral resection was performed in 3 patients with 75% tumor regression. In multiple bladder tumor lesions involving the bladder neck, the degree of regression was not greater than 40%. The therapeutic efficiency of intraosseous CT with cisplatin was 54% with acceptable toxicity.

Sex differentials in the prevalence of behavioral risk factors and non-communicable diseases in adult populations of West Kazakhstan

IntroductionThe prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is increasing worldwide. Several modifiable risk factors, such as smoking, alcohol drinking, physical inactivity, and obesity, have been linked to the development of NCDs in both genders. Understanding the prevalence of these risk factors and their associated factors is crucial for effective intervention planning in adult populations. This study aimed to provide an overview of the prevalence and associated factors of these risk behaviors among different genders of adults in West Kazakhstan.MethodsA cross-sectional study was conducted in four regions of West Kazakhstan. A stratified multistage sampling technique was utilized to obtain a representative sample size of 4,800 participants aged 18 -69 years. Trained researchers administered face-to-face interviews using validated questionnaires to gather information pertaining to sociodemographic characteristics, smoking habits, alcohol drinking, dietary patterns, physical activity levels, body mass index (BMI), and prevalent diseases.ResultsThis study, which included 4,800 participants from West Kazakhstan, revealed some striking numerical findings. The overall prevalence rates of behavioral risk factors and metabolic conditions were as follows: smoking was 13.6% (95%CI: 3.2–24.0%), alcohol drinking was 47.0% (27.7–66.3%), current obesity was 22.3% (9.0–35.6%), and physical inactivity was 80.7% (55.4–106.0%). In addition, the overall prevalence rates of metabolic conditions were 25.6% (11.3–39.9%) for hypertension, 7.5% (0.2–15.2%) for diabetes, 11.8% (2.1–21.5%) for high cholesterol, and 13.0% (2.8–23.2%) for cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, a higher prevalence of high cholesterol was observed in men, and a greater prevalence of heart disease was identified in women. Multinomial logistic regression revealed that physical inactivity was associated with hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease, while obesity was linked to hypertension, high cholesterol, and heart disease.DiscussionThis study in West Kazakhstan identified variations in the prevalence of behavioral risk factors and NCDs, highlighting gender, age, and regional disparities. Notably, men showed higher rates of smoking and alcohol drinking, while women exhibited a greater prevalence of physical inactivity and obesity. Gender and regional differences were evident, with the West Kazakhstan region standing out for distinct patterns. Tailored interventions are crucial to address these disparities and enhance public health in the region
